Letsos Hotel

We had a lovely welcome on arrival at reception. The reception staff were always polite and helpful. The room was basic but spotless and very comfortable; what you would expect in Greece. There is a TV but don’t expect to find much in English. The pool was brilliant for adults and children with the added benefit of waiter service to your sun beds (which there are plenty of). The Nisos bar was lovely and shaded, the staff were smashing and the food delicious! On Wednesday nights there is a Greek night with food, a band and dancing. Good fun and worth €30 each if that is your thing. We only had breakfast in the restaurant but were satisfied with the variety. Location wise it is ideal. 5 minute walk to the beach and less to bars and restaurants and shops. Launderette facilities are there (a fee), use of a gym (a fee). Our room faced out onto the road and there was some noise at night but nothing rowdy. With doors and shutters closed it wasn’t really noticeable.

We've stayed at letsos a number of times. We go every year around the same time as this place is special to us for many reasons. We honeymooned here and we also renewed our wedding vows at Nisos, the pool bar which is part of this resort. We have seen many changes over the years and each year they get better and better. There are many bad reviews about letsos but having been here many times, I can only assume these are isolated instances and would urge first timers to see for themselves. Yes, the rooms seem basic, but if you look at other hotels in the area, the rooms are almost identical. This is how they are in Greece. At the end of the day, you don't go all the way to Zakynthos to stay in your room all day. We always stay room only as there is so much to do a day so many wonderful places to eat. Sometimes we do buy food from their supermarket and eat in our room. The views are perfect. No matter which room you have the scenery is awesome. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming. For return visitors, they always remember you. The staff at Nisos, the same. It makes you feel like you're visiting family. The pool at Nisos is notoriously the best in Alykanas. I remember when there was just a rectangular basic pool. Now this is like something out of a tropical dream. Well worth a visit. Ignore the haters. Make you're own mind up.

6th visit to Letsos. Already booked for 2026. Very friendly as always. Sad to be leaving.. Staff always happy to help. Remember when you come tourist tax and aircon are extra cost when you arrive. Nisos pool is bit loud and busy but still best in Alykanas.

We had a fantastic stay at Letsos. First time staying at this hotel but not first time visiting alykanas/alykes. Pool is amazing and the location is perfect as it’s close to all the main restaurants and bars (there was 12 of us at one point which was handy as we could all walk to and from where we needed to go). The rooms are cleaned every day without fail and towels provided. We stayed in studio apartments and the room was beautiful and plenty of space for your clothes and modern furnishings. Yiota the manager is lovely and so accommodating. She was always available and happy to help with any questions we had and also helped book us taxis on multiple occasions. This hotel does not deserve the bad reviews and ratings it has been given by some, we have just returned and can say we will definitely be staying again and would recommend people to give this hotel a try as you will not be disappointed. Look forward to returning to Zante next year!
