The best food in Anaxos. Frank and Anna are great, always have time for a laugh and a joke with you. Food is awesome.

What a lovely hotel this is! Wonderful atmosphere and the staff are what makes this place stand out. Tony, Frank, Anna and Feti were great fun and very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The two cleaning ladies did an amazing job too. It's so easy to see why people go back year after year. Rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need, the food is exceptional too! This family run hotel is highly recommended. Located one minute walk away from the beach. The rooms are spotless and roomy. An additional bonus is the fantastic restaurant in the hotel. We ate there twice in the week of our stay and on both occasions the meals were superb. We stayed on a Bed and Breakfast basis; superb. The family who run the hotel could not have been more helpful. Great hotel.

Friendly hotel run by two brothers who go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable, the meals are excellent and Tony will prepare something special for vegetarians, while Frank is a superb waiter / barman. They are both knowledgeable about the local area and able to give advice. The hotel is comfortable and was quiet in May. Highly recommended and good value.

A really nice place to stay. Fast Wifi, Pleasant and helpful people running the site. Our studio / room was cleaned regularly (3 times). The swimming pool was nice and clean too. You can rent the air-con for €5 a day (value for money imo ).

This place is a little slice of heaven, Epic views, very clean and super comfy bed at the villa. Free fast WiFi not just at the villa but covers the whole complex. Filtered water on tap and retractable easy to use fly screens 👌 Pavos and Lisa are both super helpful and genuinely lovely.

Just a little way out but if you hire a car its perfect. The rooms are beautiful and the views are stunning. We love this place.

This is a very Nice resort. Clean and very frendly people. The kitchenette is very minimal, One frying pan, one very big pan and just one hotplate. Good cooking is niet possible. No microwave, no oven, no toaster. Fridge is okay. Hotel Harris had a good kitchenette, not very expensive. Nice grounds, garden. Very nice pool and pool area. If you want to go on a trip rent a car, nothing is close.

Hotel Harris is great, the rooms are spacious and you have your own little kitchen. The food is delicious, and the family that runs the hotel is so kind! Don't miss out on the Greek evening every Sunday, when they serve souvlaki off the barbecue and teach you Greek dancing. The pool is very nice and the beach is also close by. Would definitely recommend!!

This is a piece of paradise...the owner and his wife work extremely hard to meet all of eveyone's wishes. No effort is too much.. . They will always go out of their way to provide you with everything you could possibly want or need. The location of Klimataria is also idyllic...and blue lagoon-like..... If you want luxury resort with international style food go somewhere else. This is Greek at its best. Not for those with mobility issues as quite a few steps and inclines. Pool area lovely and almost on the sea shore. Low level Greek music at the resort and in the small local family run restaurants. Home cooked Greek food.

It is an old hotel which run by a family. Swimming pool filled by sea water which creates a different taste. Also pool has 3,5 mt deep on the right side which serves good. Breakfast is adequate. The view from room balcony is beatiful. Thanks for Dimitri for his help at all the time.

A great hotel for family vacations! The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us as it was the first time on holidays with a toddler and we didn’t know what to expect. We had the most pleasant stay at Clara resort! The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us and even offered us their vehicle to grab some food because we couldn’t make it on time for dinner with a baby. The hotel is in a perfect location with a wonderful view. Such a peaceful place. We were close to Petra and Molyvos centrum which we visited every evening. Hotel room was cleaned every day. You can enjoy the wonderful sea view from your big balcony or from the restaurant of the hotel. The breakfast was very tasteful. Also, the hotel is like a library, you can find books in every corner in every language...

I'm not sure where to start. I think we may have accidentally found the best hotel in Lesvos. The location of the hotel is very good. It is both quiet at night and a 10-minute walk from the center of Petra. In hot and sweltering weather, there is always a breeze due to its high location, which is very relaxing. We stayed for a week at Hotel Defkalion in August and it has been fantastic. The appartments are very clean and offer everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The hostess is very kind and serves home made marmalade and baklava at the breakfast buffet. This personal touch tops off the rating with a well deserved 5 stars.

The hotel is new so everything works well, very clean and looks great. There is also a decent kitchenette with everything you need if you want to cook, make coffee or tea. There is a gym with weights, running machine etc., pool was cleaned every evening. Pool is by the road so sometimes you can hear cars passing by, if you care about that. Breakfast is great including some homemade bread and jams....

Cats are all over the place, even in the restaurant area. The water at the bathrooms and the pool is salty making brushing your teeth and taking a bath unpleasant activities. Cute cats all around the hotel area, breakfast is nothing special but decent, hotel room is nice and the bed is good but the shower is cold especially in the mornings. Good pool area and the bar is moderately priced. Pool is salty and so is the tap water. Shower is very slightly salty but it gets you clean enough after a hot day 3,5/5

The stay at this hotel was magical. The proximity to the center of Petra, beautiful sunsets and a beautifully situated room were all we needed! The rooms could be renovated - especially the bathroom, but this is not something that affects my rating. Breakfast freshly prepared every day, with a choice of two types of bread, cheese, ham, jams/Nutella, fruit and vegetables, eggs and/or scrambled eggs...

I just returned with my partner from Petra. We stayed 7 days in this hotel. We managed to get room&breakfast as last minute offer from TUI. It was exactly what we were looking for, nice and small hotel which would serve as a base for intense touring around the island. The room was small, but with lovely side view for the sea and huge comfy bed. If there were any problems (leaking tap) they were resolved...

It was a very warm welcome we had, and the receptionist Ethina was the most amazing receptionist we’ve ever met. She was at service at any time, and gave some very good suggestions for were to go, witch made our vacation so much better. We had a fantastic room with a sea view.

This is a nice, quiet, family run hotel. The staff are polite, helpful and professional. The room that we had was clean, bright and comfortable, it was basic with a fridge and kettle, coffee machine is also available. The pool is David with a children’s area but only 1.75 meters deep. The hotel is wonderful - we had a delicious breakfast every morning. We stayed in a family suite, which was like a little flat. It had everything we needed, and more. We had a pretty nice time there. Clean, spacious, with air-conditioning and with an impressive pool. The room for 4 people had kitchen, fridge and too big tables inside and outside so you could cook and eat there easily. The cons are no internet in the rooms and if you accidentally open your eyes in their pool hurts like hell for a long time

I always wanted to visit this place. I finally managed to do it and i am very satisfied. Really nice apartments with air condition and huge balconies to enjoy your drink/coffee or the view. The breakfast area around the pool is a dreamy place. There is a wide variety of savory and sweet dishes for breakfast. Surely every demanding customer will be satisfied. Both the apartments and the surrounding area with the garden and the pool are very well kept and spotless. The whole property is a heaven on earth. The service of both Stratos and his family as well as the staff is exemplary.

A really beautiful hotel with an amazing location. The beach is only a minute walk away from the rooms and what a beach! The staff here are super friendly and really helpful with any queries i had. I would for sure recommend this hotel if you choose to stay in molyvos.

It is exactly in the middle of Molyvos, very near to seaside, to traditional market and port. I love its garden, traditional stone building, friendly owner and staff. The price is really good for the service.

We've stayed in the room which had sea view. Has a little , nice balcony. It was clean. The furniture was very old. Breakfast was good and enough. You may go to the restaurants, Molivos harbour, castle and the shops by walking which was a really nice experiment. There was a beach. (Just remainder; sun longers are rented for 2.5 euro per person.day)

Absolutely wonderful. The room was clean & the bed was very comfortable. Everything I needed was available. The house is traditional and has a lovely terrace. The view from my balcony was stunning. The owner was friendly, helpful and always available. Molyvos itself is absolutely gorgeous. Eating at the harbour was a delight.

The room is perfect, the wifi works, the balcony is big enough and there's a communal balcony as well. You can use a kitchen for breakfast if you like. The venue is located high in the village, that's why the sea view is amazing. Yorgos is very helpful. The place is clean and quiet. Molyvos has soft tourism and is an awsome village with an interesting architecture.

A very special place with a stunning seaview from the balconies. In the peaceful garden there are palmtrees, bougonvillas and olivetrees. The rooms are very clean, and the internet works perfectly. A bakery and grocery store is just outside, and one can use the kitchen. The price is very affordable. Yorgos is a very professional, serviceminded and helpful host. I will greatly recommend it!

This is a place not to be missed. Yorgos is an amazing host and you can feel his love for the place as soon as you walk in. Beautiful views across the bay with magnificent sunsets. It is midway between the castle and the beach. Midway between Tropicana and Hamam restaurants (2 of the best around, one in the village square under a large tree, the other with a magnificent view of the sea and sunsets...

Breakfast was standard nothing special. If you select to eat outside near the pool flies will be very annoying. Our room was very quit and had a nice view to the sea. It was big enough and very clean.

I stayed here for six weeks while working with an NGO in the refugee camps on the island. Lefteris and the staff at Orfeas worked so hard to make our home away from home warm and comfortable. The food, hospitality, and servant’s heart of the Orfeas staff make it a place I recommend to everyone who wants to support a local Greek business that is doing so much to help their own community and the thousands...

I can see why this hotel has so many repeat guests. Its setting with its own beach.....large pool...taverna and beautiful gardens is wonderful. Everything is spotless and the staff so friendly. You are a 7 euro taxi....which are plentiful...ride to Molyvos. Spoilt for choice there with seafront, harbourside and rooftop tavernas to eat in. What a gem this hotel is, perfect location, wonderful staff and amazing facilities. There are so many fabulous areas to sit according to your needs, full sun, shade, cool spots etc. I loved going on the pebble beach to cool off in the breeze, perfect! The hotel grounds and pool are great with plenty of space and sunbeds. The beach is a pebble one and not very big but adequate. Beach shoes a must. The hotels Taverna is between the pool and beach and serves really good food and drink at reasonable prices. I think this is why they dont run a shuttle bus ..so guests stay on site. Its a 5 min taxi drive into Molivos and costs £7 euros. The breakfast...

The resort facilities are lovely but the staff, at best, were taciturn. We are pleasant, undemanding guests but barely got a hello from anyone on staff. We absolutely loved the location next to the ocean but the STENCH from the toilets permeated the entire room. They really need t deal with this as I’ve seen reviews elsewhere complaining about this absolute horror.

Good hotel with great pool and grounds.A little isolated .Could use a shuttle bus.Taxi to Molivos 7 euros. Very good breakfast but main building rooms need refurbishment.Staff were efficient and pleasant.Beachside taverna had very good food and was reasonable price.Gets lots of returning guests.
