Hotel Molyvos I in Mithymna

We used the beach area of this hotel — sunbeds and umbrellas cost €3.5 per person. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing without loud music or crowds.

A stunning little hotel. The classic Greek xenodoxeio experience. It is a beautiful old building situated on a quiet lane, a stones throw from the seafront and a short walk into Molyvos town. Room was perfectly suited to our needs, although the decor is dated everything was functional, comfy and clean. The pool area met all expectations with a stunning view of the castle and a sizable pool. Shaded areas provided by the olive trees were perfect for lounging in. Breakfast came as part of the deal with the room. It consisted of a simple continental style buffet. The staff were friendly and helpful. We very much felt that we were left in peace to enjoy our holiday. Don't hesitate - stay here if you're looking for somewhere in Molyvos, you won't beat it.

I had the chance to stay at Molyvos 1 Hotel for 3 nights. In my opinion, it's quite successful in terms of value for money. The staff are very kind and friendly. Breakfast is more than sufficient.

8th time in Molivos 6 th to amfitriti.... Best little hotel in Molivos. Close to the town in fact I would say the closest. Lovely pool. Wonderful friendly staff. Lovely breakfast in the garden. Can't wait to come back may 25. Looking forward to it already. Book it. Small friendly personal service x

Lovely hotel, spent a week here , breakfast was very nice and fresh , not a huge variety but i found perfect for me, staff and owners are lovely , short walk to the sea and restaurants so a perfect location . Rooms are pleasant with good views and most have a small balcony , or ground floor larger terrace , large pool in a beautiful relaxing garden .

Absolutely love this hotel !!!! My partner and I went for 7 nights and will most certainly be returning. Staff are amazing friendly and very helpful and welcoming. The rooms and hotel are spotless very clean and fresh . The breakfast could be slightly better with maybe a toaster available but on the whole not a bad continental breakfast. I would rate this minimum 3 ***

We saw this hotel on a previous holiday, so knew the location was perfect, central but on a quiet road with views either over the pool or the castle (I would pay extra for a balcony) I would describe the accommodation as rustic, but lovely / very clean. Think Greece 20 years ago, the chilled vibe and friendly hosts. The pretty garden is shaded by trees for breakfast, plenty of sunbeds and the inviting pool is available until 8:00 pm. The only slight niggle is breakfast, as other reviewers have said - it’s limited, and the same every day. No toaster, and jam or honey on bread just doesn’t do it for me, there is cheese, ham and hard boiled or scrambled eggs, that’s about it with the usual Greek yoghurt. However, plenty of places nearby serve breakfast at very reasonable prices if you wanted a change. It wouldn’t stop me booking again, more than compensated by the location, friendly staff and homely feel.
