Hotels on first line in Corfu Town

It's close to the beach, cosy and romantic with exelent view to the sea, but the wifi network is quite crapy, and the wasps can make hard to enjoy a breakfast in the balcony or to sunbath next to the swimming pool (there's a swimming pool, btw) :)

Excellent reception. Beautiful sea view. Dated but clean structure. Central position with respect to the island. Unfortunately there is the busy road below.

Thanks to everyone x ( 2 groans , not great to walk just outside the hotel ,and my main moan , should be smoking areas around the pool , always seemed to get a smoker next to us !) But if you want a perfect , quiet Greek holiday, the art hotel debono is just the ticket

top notch Pool was great , plenty of comfy beds and shade Restaurant was great , plenty of choices, some nights more to our taste than others , but always the superb greek salads , if the hot choices didn’t suit

Lovely clean hotel and friendly staff our Junior Suite was a good size with a ceiling fan and the air conditioning excellent. The pool area was nice and plenty of umberellas and sun beds

There are a lot of trees & bushes round the pool which is probably why both the pool & jacuzzi are full of leaves and debris all the time but a nice quiet pool area

Turn right from hotel, go down the little road almost opposite hotel, then cross dual carriageway (there is a pedestrian crossing) then down the little road, turn left to walk into Gouvia or right to get to the marina

After having been on a cruise for the week previous to our stay in the hotel, this was the perfect relaxing retreat. Everything about the hotel was wonderful, food was always delicious & so much to choose from

Nice and clean hotel, staff are very friendly, rooms are small especially the bathroom, also shower curtain need to be sorted out as the water goes all over the floor when you shower so not really big enough for 3 people, clean towels every other day, sheets changed ever 3 days, but the room is cleaned daily apart from Sundays, you get a free safe , air con, kettle iron and ironing board in the room...

The most amazing place people and food!!! Vicky, Spyros, Ranis, Syprolituna, Simona were the gold standard of customer service

Wonderful stay here at the Palotel, the loveliest, friendliest staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great location for the beach and all the lovely tavernas

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to shops, bars and restaurants. It's a 2 minute walk from the beach and only about a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, where you can easily bus a bus to Corfu town

Spiros is so welcoming and accommodating! Rooms are clean and nicely furbished and the pool is nice and well kept! Only 2 minutes from the beach and 30 seconds from the bus stop! Great hotel and area for those who want to relax! Hopefully me and boyfriend will be back soon!

The rooms are clean, good service and there is a swimming pool.

Excellent family run business, very friendly room's were immaculate and clean. Spiro the owner was very helpful and you will be hard to find such a lovely small hotel situated just a 100 mtrs from the centre of Gouvia.

Lovely family hotel, with good food opportunities and tavernas around and easy to reach. Super clean and affordable! We loved the staff. They were all friendly, warm and helpful and made us feel like home

The best hotel in Corfu. The service, the team, the breakfast are on the highest level. The rooms are very clear and the location is top. I will come back at the hotel by my next trip to Corfu

You just gotta love the warmth of this place and the owner of this place mr spiros treats all their guest like their own family. Excellent place for family stay or for group of people.

Three nights or was it four with excellent service, very friendly staff and immediate access to the beach and very comfortable sunbeds (that you DO have to pay for)

The beach bar is now running separate and very trendy however there is some noise at night so if you are early birds ask for a room closer to the back of the hotel and night owls well it is a bonus for you

We travelled in July, and it is a lovely hotel- A small family run hotel. if you do your research, you will know this isn't the most modern hotel but for us and the price, we paid it was lovely

The beds are low and firm, but bathroom and AC worked perfectly. the breakfast was ample - you're not going to get a full English, but we knew that. The Greek style pies were a nice touch

The fact that the restaurant ist located 20 Meters away from the ocean allows you to fully enjoy the gorgeous view over the Gouvion Bay while being served great food and drinks

Even if you‘re not staying here; the food, bar and the drinks are incredible. Service at its finest and very fair prices

The room had a beautiful view of the hotel's lush garden. The air conditioning worked perfectly, so after hours spent in the hot heat of the island's beaches, we cooled off perfectly

Near the beach is the place and the memorial square where the Serbian army landed on Corfu to recover in the First World War The staff is very friendly and helpful

I don’t mind paying to rent loungers on the beach but not if you’re staying at that particular hotel!! We spent everyday at a hotel just 5mins away which allowed us use of the pool/sunbeds provided we spent in their bar/restaurant which is absolutely fair

This review would be favourable but the hotel has totally ruined it by having to pay €18 per day for sunbeds that belong to the property. I didn’t see that advertised and maybe I should have researched better

It even exceeded our expectations for a 3-star hotel in Greece! Breakfast was OK: there were not many dishes, but the fact that they had Greek salad every day seasoned with olive oil and oregano, feta cheese, Greek yogurt, honey and candied kumkuat fruits, was enough to point out some of the Greek culinary specialties

Wonderful hotel,the rooms are basic but everything you need is there,fridge and kettle we had a balcony overlooking the pool which was lovely and clean and hardly used ,breakfast was plentiful with plenty of choice,cleaning of the room every day if you wanted,this hotel was absolutely perfect and would definitely return,2 minutes walk to the pebbley beach plenty of restaurants in the area we ate at...

when the shower is used the toilet and entire bathroom floor get drenched and take a long time to dry out. The pool area out the back is great. it's usually quiet and the water is lovely. No shortage of sunbeds either

Well what can i say absolutely perfect stay at Louvre Hotel ,rooms are basic,but clean ,everything you need is provided,the breakfast has so much choice ,and constantly topped up with more fresh,beautiful clean pool which was never busy,plenty of restaurants and bars on the doorstep and a bus service literally just round the corner,dont hesitate this is a great place to stay,will definetley be returning

The hotel is small and friendly all public spaces are kept spotlessly clean and the pool area is a fantastic space to relax no fighting for sun beds here

It's a buffet with plenty of cold choices and a few cooked choices which were generally good. The location of the hotel is excellent. One minute walk to the beach

I’ve stayed in many places in Corfu over the last 30 years and this is superb! The cocktails are amazing , the breakfasts are great, and the pool is the cleanest I’ve ever experienced

Our room was modern, sizeable and the air conditioning was excellent… much needed with temperatures in excess of 30 degrees Breakfast offered plenty of choice zero complaints it was very nice There’s lots to do and see, beach is a pebble beach just a 5 minute walk away

The location is ideal for Gouvia town, shops and tavernas and also the beach. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis

Cool location with pool on the front. The buffet breakfast is very nice and it is the best way to start your day. My room was in the depandance behind the hotel and it was not great

Right in the heart of the village with cut through to the beach (around 2 min walk) supermarket just up the road (5min walk) bus route to take you to town

Very good value for price! Located very near to many restaurants, bars and the beach. Many places in Corfu can be reached from here with a car in 30 minutes

Highly recommend! The owner is a great guy! He accommodated us earlier for free. Also he helped us with all our needs. (We arrived with 3 month old baby) and he provide us microwave and everything we needed for free

A basic but very clean Hotel with a fabulously friendly host in Christos. Rooms are comfortable many have small balcony's but ample room to sit out on. Absolutely love the walk in shower

Our room was exceptionally clean just like my own mother had cleaned it. Christos the owner is very accommodating and friendly and it was a great pleasure to experience his hospitality

Lovely cozy hotel with a substantial breakfast(make sure your hungry! ). Very friendly staff and owner. Very clean and tidy rooms with balcony. Traditional Greek style which is lovely

The rooms are lovely and clean, breakfast has a great selection, staff are friendly and it is right in the centre of all the restaurants, bars, shops and literally a 2 minute walk to the beach

The hotel is very quiet and peaceful with a lovely large pool and lots of sun beds, the whole hotel is kept clean and our rooms were refreshed daily with clean towels and bath mats, beds made and bins emptied

The lad however with a beard is a delight and very helpful. Apart from him nobody glances at you. The pool area is a strange set up too, tucked in a corner with beds one side

We have just got home from Gouvia we stayed in this lovely Hotel , are stay here was lovely , the room was nice and comfy , the staff were fantastic , its the sort of place you can relax in , everyone was so helpful nothing was too much trouble , the Breakfast was always good , we want for anything , i had an eye problem while i was there , and a lovely lady helped me alot , she asked me everyday how...

We have spent great time on this hotel. The room have refrigerator, hairdryer and TV. There is planty space for clothes and suitcase witch makes life easier. Breakfasts are repeatable but fresh

The public areas are clean and walls are well painted, everything was in good order. The breakfast area was fine (you could take breakfast out into the covered bar area) and the choice for breakfast was certainly enough

As usual I would say do your homework before booking anywhere and that this is our experience only. This is a very pleasant 2 star hotel and we had a very nice stay

We had a problem with a toilet seat which cracked in use as not centred properly but we told them and it was promptly replaced by a brand new one in a short time, extra pillows provided also in short time; very happy with the response

I wish I didn’t have a wasp bite as I’m allergic to that but from what I understood wasps are a seasonal problem and you can potentially escape them if coming early summer

The views from the bungalows were stunning, the beach was beautiful. Everything was incredibly clean. We were so proud to be accepted into the Grecotel family and we look forward to seeing you all again soon

We loved the view from the balcony onto the beautiful see. The staff was very dedicated and fulfilled al af our wishes. At the beach we had a wunderfull view and ancient olive trees and palm trees all around us

Great resort, exceptional service very enjoyable stay with 2 kids (5, 3). the beach was amazing and the service of the team was exceptional - at the lobby, at the restaurants, everywhere.

Place was beautiful, most of the staff were fabulous, food great, everywhere spotless but I couldn't book into restaurants because they were full. On asking reception I was told they're usually booked a week in advance

Our family would like to say thank you to Alex and his amazing staff for a wonderful 10 days holiday. From start to finish, the staff were awesome. Probably one of the best all inclusive food variety that we have had

There w few local restaurants within walking distance. A supermarket was about a 15 minute walk away. The pool area is clean and comfortable. The pool g the sun until late afternoon

Very clean and tidy, everything you need. Unfortunately it was raining so couldn't try the pool but it looked fab. The best food was available across the road. Fab place

There is a poolside toilet and shower which was useful on day of check out. The owner is friendly and tries to accomodate any requests. The apartment is clean and comfortable

Amazing apartment at amazing location. Single beds are comfortable and everything else is good.

-We were allocated apt A1 initially however the second bedroom is dark and has no balcony. The kitchen utensils were insufficient for 4. The owner arranged for us to move, which was very much appreciated

The apartments are set in beautiful landscape gardens which lead to a lovely clean swimming pool and pool side bar and restaurant, then lead to an olive and palm tree gardens leading to the bay

Daily cleaning kept everything fresh and tidy. The large, well-maintained grounds were a real highlight — beautiful greenery all around, and the warm swimming pool was a lovely bonus

We had a very good stay at Govino Bay Hotel. The price-performance ratio is excellent, with a beautiful pool area including a bar, friendly staff, and convenient parking for both cars and scooters

Breakfasts were taken in the opened wall diner, or by the pool bar, with a wide choice of hot favourites available (bacon, sausage, beans, egg etc. ) and cold meats, olives, cheeses, breads, cereals and fruit

We loved the sunbeds at the Kaktus beach where a gentleman took our 20 Euros for the day then gave us an ice-cold bottle of water with plastic glasses. Top Marks to the Paradise Hotel

This is a small, friendly and quiet hotel located at the top of a hill. The pool and outdoor area is peaceful and the staff are very welcoming. The breakfast is very varied and of very good quality

Our balcony was shady with a fine view, ideal for wine & snacks in the evenings. The pool bar served lunches, snacks and hot or cold drinks

The pedestrian controlled lights allowed holidaymakers to cross over to reach the main tavernas and beach

The hotel is on top of a small hill, so do take that into account. It is just a small walk and we had no problem with it. The breakfast had so much choice we could eat something different every day

Plenty of sun beds by the pool or if you’d rather 14 euros gets you a sunbed on the beach plus two drinks which is good value. Evening entertainment at the hotel four nights a week

We booked an economy room but it was anything but economy. Quality air condioned accommodation. The pool area was superb, with enough sunbeds for all. Would definitely recommend

The hotel is lovely but the corridor and the room are very outdated. The room I was put in had bed bugs under the mattress on a sheet covering the planks of wood had lots of orange brown stains from bed bugs poo

I was moved to a seaview then moved again. So a four nights stay I was moved three times. Room 425 had bed bugs, then we were moved to room 207 that was a beautiful room

Sat by the pool on our last day here and had to write to praise the hotel. Excellent position on the sea front, the hotel is spotlessly clean and run with friendly and helpful staff

Then to room 325, beach, staff and breakfast was all good. The hotel does trips to AquaLand and a boat trip to Paxos. But I wouldn't stay here, I have bed bugs in my house now

The main road that the hotel is on, is busy and noisy BUT the hotel pool faces away from this and so we didn’t find the noise a problem when we spent time near the pool or Bar

Absolutely spotless hotel, rooms are on the smaller side but have everything you need. Beds were on the hard side, air con was brilliant. Great pool and lots of sunbeds/umberellas and places to sit in the shade

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The breakfast was great with a lot of choice for everyone (fruit, cereals, bread, savoury items etc. Staff were all super helpful and friendly

Bus stop is right outside and is €2pp each way and takes 40mins to get to the old town (last stop) and Ipsos beach the other way which is 15-20mins

I think it probably depends on where your room is though in terms of noise at night. We had our doors closed and the air con on so it wasn’t ever going to bother us
