Philoxenia

I've had a really good time at hotel Philoxenia. The rooms were big and very clean and they make the best mojito on the island. The food was also good and the staff very friendly. There is also a very nice pool where you can chill if you choose not to go to the beach.

The location is peaceful and serene, around the middle of the island and 25 min by car from the airport. It makes it easier to be a hub to see the whole island by car, but also the beach next to hotel is very calm and the views are breathtaking.. The staff was incredibly helpful in finding nearby restaurants/attractions always with a smile. The mojitos in the pool bar were amazing.

We had an amazing stay at Philoxenia, we only wish we could have stayed longer! The room was exactly as pictured, spacious, clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. We also really enjoyed spending time by the pool, very tranquil, and the food was excellent. Bonus points for the strong wifi, which was important to us as we did some light work during our stay. I'd say it's one of the most value for money places to stay in the area, suitable for all kinds of travelers. We would definitely go back next time we visit Corfu!

From the moment we arrived, they treated us very kindly, they were so cordial that they made us feel at home. The breakfasts at the place are very rich, varied and with good portions.
Our room was very nice and spacious, with a nice balcony were we enjoyed our evening drinks. The pool is well connected to the rooms, so it was easy to get there and enjoy the day by the Sun. The nicest gesture was when they put a Mexican song , very sweet.

The hotel is run by a family that in each of its areas in the hotel always serves you with a smile. We had a 6-hour tour offered by the hotel and we had a blast, we saw many places that made us fall in love with Corfu. In every question we had they always helped us, they were so kind that they helped us get to the vatos (we were about to walk 30 min). They showed us where a small local shop was, where to take the bus to the center of Corfu. The views of the place are beautiful, the beach is very close, ideal for spending the day. The area in general is very quiet, safe , colorful and made us the most beautiful vacation we have had in a long time. We want to thank all the members of the hotel for being so kind to us. we would gladly stay again

Best value for money - peaceful location, rooms with the sea view, great breakfast and warm hospitality of owner Takis and his family - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Philoxenia Hotel.
The location is perfect for those looking for peace and quiet, yet good to explore the island: by booking an excursion or renting a boat to explore wild beaches from a nearby hotel.
Highly recommend to all (including families with kids) and we will certainly come back!

My husband and I just stayed at the Philoxenia and as a Greek American that spent numerous summers on the Greek Islands I can say this was a wonderful hotel. The hotel and our room was very clean and the breakfast had many selections. Make sure you meet Taki who is at the pool bar making the BEST mojitos ever! Friendly staff, peaceful location. Highly recommended.

I had a fantastic stay at the hotel in Ermones. Located in a peaceful area with beautiful, clean beaches perfect for relaxing and romantic sunsets. The hotel is run by a lovely family, and their friendly and helpful staff made the stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable, and the delicious homemade food in the hotel restaurant was a highlight. Highly recommended for a serene and unforgettable getaway.

We fell in love with this area! The views were amazing. The hotel is situated on a hill looking down to the sea. A short 5 minute walk you are at the beach with a restaurant. The hotel is run by a family and they are very nice all of them. My only recommendation on the room itself is add a coffee maker in the room. We felt very welcomed there! The food at the hotel was so delicious as well, we ate lunch by the pool a couple of times and it was always a good meal. The breakfast bar has a lot of options as well, but my favorite was the delicious Greek yogurt. Rented a car for our trip, the parking here was free and we drove around exploring the island. Corfu Old Town is about a 25 minute drive from the hotel. This was an unforgettable trip and the hotel and staff made it that much more special. We really wished we could have stayed a bit longer.

After many years i've returned to my beloved Philoxenia!!!!
This time i made a short trip alone since i didnt have much time at my disposal so i chose to come back to Corfu and ofcourse i immediately booked my favorite Hotel with the best mojito ever! ( thank you Takis again and again)!!!
The food was as tasty as i remember and well done on the updates and the renovated rooms!!
Takis was also kind enough to offer me a cruise to Paxos island and Antipaxos and although i had only a few days i decided to go since there were quite a few other guests of the Hotel that had booked the cruise and it was really enojoyable!!! What a fabulous island and superb beaches - i will certainly go back there again in the future! Again many thanks to Takis and ofcourse to all the rest of the team of Philoxenia for making my stay so enjoyable!!
