Philoxenia Hotel Corfu in Ermones

Me and my family had one of the best vacations ever, and it is solely because of our wonderful stay at Philoxenia Hotel! We really enjoyed the calm and quiet atmosphere of the place, and the hotel gave us plenty of pleasant surprises we were not expecting.
First of all, the hotel is situated so close to the beach that it gave us many opportunities to go there. The view from our room was absolutely breathtaking – mountains, sea, and sunshine, everything you could ever ask for!
The rooms were very clean and tidied up every morning while we were out for breakfast. Breakfast itself offered a great variety, and we also had the chance to dine at the hotel restaurant in the evenings, where the food was equally delicious. What made dinners even more special was being able to watch the sunset every evening – truly a spectacular view!
If you don’t feel like going to the beach, you can always soak up the sun by the hotel’s pool, which also has a bar. Takis makes amazing beverages there – his signature mojitos were my absolute favorite, refreshing and delicious! A special thanks also goes to Takis for offering us a boat trip he helps organize to Paxos and Antipaxos – it was the highlight of our holiday, and we are so grateful to him for making it possible.
Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The family that runs this hotel was warm and welcoming and we are certain that we will come back again!

Philoxenia Hotel is the best accommodation option in Ermones, Corfu. We spent a few days with a group of 24 friends at the Telonis family hotel. From the moment we booked the rooms, we knew we would have a wonderful stay. Spyridon, the owners' son, always responded promptly and kindly to all our requests. They even helped us with recommendations for car rentals. And when we arrived at the hotel, we felt the hospitality of the entire family. Being such a large group, they managed to offer us the most beautiful moments. Mr. Takis organized for us a wonderful trip to Paxos and Antipaxos. Mrs. Maria, Mr. Takis' wife, offered us the best cakes prepared by herself.
The hotel is run by a wonderful family. It has all the conditions for a wonderful stay and is very close to the beach, about 5-10 minutes walk.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of September and were truly impressed. The food was excellent, with fresh and tasty options every day. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always making us feel comfortable. The hotel’s panoramic views are simply breathtaking, the perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday.

What made our stay even more enjoyable was the fact that the staff arranged transportation for our one-day cruise, making everything smooth and stress-free. Overall, this hotel combines great service, wonderful food, and an unforgettable atmosphere. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We have recently returned home after a glorious week at The Philoxenia Hotel. The word Philoxenia means to show a warm and welcoming hospitality and the whole staff made us feel at home and were kind, friendly and helpful. One thing that particularly stood out to us were the staggeringly beautiful and impressive sunsets we had on most nights, as there is a great view over Ermones Bay. We were blessed with pretty much unbroken sunshine over the course of the week (late September). There is an abundance of trips and activities available, including visiting Corfu Town (approx 30 min drive away and easy and cheap at €2.40 to jump on the bus up the road), hiring kyaks down on the beach, visiting local water park Aqualand, day trips to Albania, and the many boat and island trips on offer, all of which the very charming Takis can assist with arranging. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Paxos and AntiPaxos where we swam in the most aquamarine waters I have ever seen and we even saw a dolphin on the cruise back.

The highly anticipated Mojitoes did not disappoint and we thoroughly recommend trying them - fresh, zesty and delicious! We loved the pool area which has a very clean pool and lovely area overlooking the stunning view and you can order your drinks through the bar window while swimming. The breakfasts were also plenty and varied and they laid on breakfast early for day trippers heading out early, which was very helpful and convenient.

We had a truly wonderful time at the hotel. The room was fully equipped, always clean, and offered a fascinating view from the balcony - especially during sunsets. We loved relaxing by the pool and enjoyed Takis' Mojito by his own unique recipe. The breakfasts and all meals served were both delicious and traditional, reflecting the authentic flavors of Greece. What made our stay especially memorable, however, was the warm hospitality of the staff. Takis and his family went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our week-long stay. They were incredibly kind and helpful to all guests, and even helped us organize a trip to Paxos & Antipaxos — which was one of the most unforgettable highlights of our vacation. I fully recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an exceptional Greek holiday in Corfu.

If you thought low cost hotels had to be average at best and you are thinking of going to Corfu the consider the Hotel Philoxenia in Ermones on the West Coast. The service is excellent,the rooms, especially the sea view ones are very good at this price point. There is a large pool and onsite restaurant serving great food. Other restaurants are near including a lovely place right on the small beach at the end of the road plus the area is beautiful and very peaceful. You really do need a car though.

I've had a really good time at hotel Philoxenia. The rooms were big and very clean and they make the best mojito on the island. The food was also good and the staff very friendly. There is also a very nice pool where you can chill if you choose not to go to the beach.

The location is peaceful and serene, around the middle of the island and 25 min by car from the airport. It makes it easier to be a hub to see the whole island by car, but also the beach next to hotel is very calm and the views are breathtaking.. The staff was incredibly helpful in finding nearby restaurants/attractions always with a smile. The mojitos in the pool bar were amazing.

We had an amazing stay at Philoxenia, we only wish we could have stayed longer! The room was exactly as pictured, spacious, clean and comfortable, and the hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful. We also really enjoyed spending time by the pool, very tranquil, and the food was excellent. Bonus points for the strong wifi, which was important to us as we did some light work during our stay. I'd say it's one of the most value for money places to stay in the area, suitable for all kinds of travelers. We would definitely go back next time we visit Corfu!

From the moment we arrived, they treated us very kindly, they were so cordial that they made us feel at home. The breakfasts at the place are very rich, varied and with good portions.
Our room was very nice and spacious, with a nice balcony were we enjoyed our evening drinks. The pool is well connected to the rooms, so it was easy to get there and enjoy the day by the Sun. The nicest gesture was when they put a Mexican song , very sweet.

The hotel is run by a family that in each of its areas in the hotel always serves you with a smile. We had a 6-hour tour offered by the hotel and we had a blast, we saw many places that made us fall in love with Corfu. In every question we had they always helped us, they were so kind that they helped us get to the vatos (we were about to walk 30 min). They showed us where a small local shop was, where to take the bus to the center of Corfu. The views of the place are beautiful, the beach is very close, ideal for spending the day. The area in general is very quiet, safe , colorful and made us the most beautiful vacation we have had in a long time. We want to thank all the members of the hotel for being so kind to us. we would gladly stay again
