It's the 3rd time I have stayed here and cannot fault it. The room was superb, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is lovely and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated right opposite where the boat docks so no taxi required. It's only 5 minutes walk from the centre of the town

Really nice hotel with a great location - 1 minute from ferry station. Clean and spacious rooms (for a Greek standard). Great cafeteria and bar with good coffee. I was there for a business trip to the local shipyard and it is 5 min walking distance. The staff was all friendly and helpful.

Old fashioned hotel, but very good with all the modern amenities. I appreciate the fact that they were able to maintain the look for a very long time. The owner and the staff are very polite. Would recommend and would definitely come back.

Great old style hotel in perfect location. Room we had was a little small but loved having windows open and sitting in our room looking over the port. We looked at restaurants around Ermoupolis but kept on coming back to the Hermes’ hotel restaurant. Good food at reasonable prices and loved sitting outdoors on the terrace overlooking the water. Very good location. Nice and clean hotel. The only negative for myself is that the room don't have enough space for a chair if you want to do some office work.

Absolutely amazing in every way. But being able to stay in the room until the ferry docked tonight at 6 for half the night rate was what got me to write a review instead of just stars. Being able to shower off the last swim, from right below my room, was the best amenity any hotel has ever offered.

Booked an executive room with a sea view and after this they renovated the place and moved us to a port view. They still call this a sea view but you can’t see any waves or cliffs, just a noisy port and a busy road with motorcycles revving up and down most of the night. What a stunning place. Our room was incredible, spotlessly clean and very comfortable with lots of little extras. Beautiful breakfast in he garden, great coffee. Had the best stay at Hotel Ploes, my wife and I rate this as our best hotel experience, we have had. We stayed for 2 nights at the Brazzera hotel in Syros. It was lovely. Rooms were very tastefully decorated and maintained that lovely Greek charm. The hotel is right on the sea front. What a lovely traditional hotel with only 14 rooms… the whole hotel is very well maintained. Great position right on the beach and they will provide sunbeds and beach towels. The couple running the hotel are really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. If I found myself on the island again I would stay here

Excellent service, the staff are amongst the friendliest hosts I ever know and this is the reason I write this review. I was on a business trip, meaning it's not my choice to stay here yet the staff offered their best service possible. Rooms clean and all in order.

This hotel is conveniently located in down town Syros main port next to lots of shops and tavernas. It is very clean, they offer a good breakfast and they have a very nice court yard for chilling and having your breakfast. Teas only priced and friendly service

The room was very nice, the bed was hard but I like that personally. The staff were kind and friendly. The breakfast is a bit limited but nice enough. The location is great. It was a bit more expensive than I thought with a double room but overall I would recommend staying here.

A 5-Star 2-Star hotel! Family run and smack in the center of town but away from the noise at the same time. A short stroll from the many restaurants, tavernas, and shops that make Ermopoli one of my favorite authentic Greek towns.

Great hotel with apartments. Very friendly and cooperative people. And a dream of a location! 100% gorgeous! Negatives: If you have bleached hair, your hair will turn a bit greenish from the chlorine in the pool, and the beds are really hard. Only breakfast is served, and for everything else you can go down the hill, not for anyone with walking difficulties. But those aren't really the cyclades anyway

Me and my friends had the BEST stay at Hotel Kamelo! All the staff were so amazing - Vasilis was so friendly and helpful while we laid by the beach on the complimentary sun lounges. We were not able to stay in this beautiful hotel because of a a/c issue. Chris was more than helpful and gave us a choice of staying and let us see the room. He even coordinated our transfer to a hotel nearby. But, the rooms are beautiful, the location is awesome and Chris was more than accommodating in his help and knowledge of the area. We will be back and we will contact him again!

Excellent service, conveniently located, quiet, clean, highly recommended overall. The manager was super polite and helpful, and even offered a very late checkout. However, if you have mobility issues, keep in mind you'll have to scale a steep staircase - the price to pay for the beautifully high ceilings.

Mrs. Jessica suggested shops to go to, churches, etc.. a small comprehensive tour of the 'good' things of the island. Really nice room with great view! Breakfast was amazing; included toast with jams, tea, coffee, a choice between eggs and bacon, grilled cheese, and croissants. You could ask for yogurt and fruit if you would like as well. Everything was delicious. The wifi was the worst part, however, since it very rarely seemed to work. At night it almost never worked. Amazing hotel in one of the best areas of the island. Its location by the sea gives memorable sunrise and sunset pictures, and a direct access to the sea through private platform.
