Nesteled in between other hotels and apartment buildings in Ialyssos there’s a little oasis. A small family run hotel called Platoni Elite. Newly renovated rooms in a very nice decor, great little restaurant and bar, AMAZING breakfast, sunbeds around a pool, top wifi, perfect daily cleaning, wonderful friendly service from the owner and his family.
This tiny place beats everything else we have tried in the Trianda area. Stratos, you guys are amazing. See you again!

Fantastic host family, very cosy and fantastic atmosphere. Breakfast and daily meals are absolutely overwhelming. We love to come here and have returned four times since our first visit. So you soon at platoni elite!

Amazing couldn’t recommend enough the breakfast was out standing and change everyday which gave us something to look forward to and wonder what we would get. The service is 10/10 and very welcoming. When we first arrived we were welcomed in as if we were family and just made the experience ever better. Definitely recommend and will stay again

This is a fantastic place managed by the family. I have never tried before such amazing breakfasts. They're cooked and served for each guest personally and the food is very very tasty and sizes shcha dishes are impressive. Very friendly and helpful attitude excited us. The atmospfere was such cozy and calm, you wanted to stay relax at the hotel without going outside. We enjoyed our spacious and clean room, everything was very thoughtfully made, a lot of space for clothes keeping. Very spacious bathroom and comfortable bed and pillows. We highly recommend this place and recommend to try their food from the menu.

Fantastic family run apartments,very friendly owners who go out of there way to help with whatever you need,apartments are spacious ,beds very comfortable with a nice balcony. 15 minute walk into town where there are loads of restaurants and bars to spend your evenings. Working in hospitality we always book hotels and this was our first apartment, well it did not disappoint. We arrived to a warm welcome, the apartment was spotless and very spacious, the food was amazing, staff great and nothing was a problem. Quiet area with a 10 minutes walk to the beach however the pool is also lovely, no fighting for sunbeds or having to pay - bliss. We ate there several times enjoying their Greek specialities with complimentary dip at the start and lovey wee slice of cake at the end - lovely touch! Was great to sit with the family and hear their stories. You can see why they get so many return customers...they care about your experience and it shows! 10/10 loved it!

I spent a lot of time researching the perfect place for us to stay when visiting Rhodes and Platoni Elite seemed to tick every box before we booked and has absolutely ticked every box during our stay here. If you want a relaxing, authentic holiday that’s conveniently located with excellent hosts and food… then trust me and book this place. Location - Platoni Elite is 15 minutes on a bus from the airport and 15 minutes from the iconic Old Town. This was great for us because we didn’t want to have to travel too far once we’d been on a flight for four hours and we didn’t want to travel far for a day of exploring. The hotel/apartments itself are set back slightly from the main road which bodes well for peaceful sleeping! Directly opposite the hotel is a big supermarket so you can easily stock up on essentials and you can pack light and buy some stuff there. The bus network is reliable, cheap and quick so I’d recommend using buses rather than wasting money on taxis. You can pay €3 a journey in cash to the driver. Hotel itself - comprised of both rooms and apartments. Our apartment is beautifully presented and really clean (cleaner visits everyday and provides fresh towels). There is lots of space and a large balcony, powerful shower with essential toiletries and a very comfortable bed. Air con is great too! The grounds have a large pool (always clean) and a small kids pool. Sun beds are plentiful and you’ll be given a pool towel when you arrive so no need to pack one! There is a small garden area too. The grounds are kept clean, tidy and there’s enough space for everyone staying without it being too “resorty” or generic. Restaurant - I can’t express greatly enough how amazing the food and service is here. For a start, portion sizes are so generous that it’s near impossible to eat an appropriate amount, unless you have a lot of willpower which I don’t! As we’ve learnt from one of our lovely hosts, Greek culture shows love and appreciation by serving big portions and lots of yummy food and by that standard, we felt a lot of love while we’ve been here. We opted for the bed and breakfast option for our booking and the breakfast was the best we’ve had anywhere in the world. We were treated everyday to fresh breads, jams, honey, chocolate spread, a fresh variety of cut fruit with either fluffy pancakes or French toast or loukoumades (Greek donuts) AND then any form of fresh eggs AND fresh pastries. The omelettes are delicious! We left the breakfast table everyday ready to burst and extremely satisfied. For lunch (which we only managed to have two days out of seven because of the breakfast keeping us full) - I highly recommend the gyros. Best quality gyros we’ve seen and eaten on the island - even the chips are fresh and homemade! The lunch salads are also massive and filling. Dinner - is served between 1700-2230 each day. I’m writing this review sat in the airport waiting for our flight home. We are all really sad to be leaving. Honestly I can’t tell you how much we have loved our time at Platoni Elite. As a family we work for ourselves and we have 3 children, 2 of which are autistic. So life for us at home is very stressful. This last week has probably been the most relaxed we have been all year! It’s such a lovely, calm, relaxing place! Even our children were relaxed and at ease. Which is rare! It was lovely to see them playing together instead of the meltdowns we’re used too. Holidays usually mean more meltdowns but that didn’t happen here. Which just shows how special this place is! We booked one of the Villas and we felt very much at home. It was really clean, really spacious, and it had everything we needed including a PlayStation and Netflix for the kids. During the week we had to work whilst we were there and the Wi-Fi was great too. It worked in the villa, by the pool and in the restaurant. Across the road theres a big supermarket which was ideal for stocking up on essentials. Although we ate in the restaurant every day! We tried breakfast, dinner and evening meals and all the food was excellent! Our family is vegetarian and we always found something to eat. Yanis was great and offered us vegi / vegan options that wasn’t on the menu. We always had a good meal! We always found a sun bed and if we wanted to go out, it was a 10 minute walk into town. I honestly can’t praise this little gem enough. The family who run platoni are some of the nicest people we have met! We are already planning to return next year!

We stayed here (family of 5) and had an amazing time. This small, family run hotel is in a perfect location, close to the beach, airport, local restaurants and about 10 minutes on a bus of or taxi to Rhodes town centre. From the minute we arrived the owners went out of their way to ensure we d everything we needed. The level of service and in particular the fresh local food on offer was exceptional. We had one of the 3 bedroom villas and the whole place was spotless and maintained to a very high level. The poolside is very relaxing and as some other reviewers have said, there were always lots of free sun beds throughout the day. If you’re looking for a gem of a location with hosts who treat you like part of their extended family- this place is for you.
