3 star hotels in Ialyssos

I’m writing this as it’s the day before our departure tomorrow. In all, the Belair Beach hotel is OKAY but it’s definitely not a 4*, I’d say 3*+ at a push. We arrived around 00:30 on the Wednesday night / Thursday morning and after a day of travelling we just wanted to get a good nights sleep however on our arrival there was no one on reception. We stayed at Belair from 3rd-11th July. The hotel: When you check in, you pay the €10 per night tourist tax. When you walk in, you walk straight into reception. You then have to go up a set of stairs to access the pool, and up a separate set of stairs to access the restaurant. The evening bar is on the same floor as reception. The hotel is nice, well presented, clean, tidy, modern fixtures, Most of the hotel staff were exceptional. The food was nice, more variety maybe, but fresh, well presented. We were kindly upgraded to an executive room as it was my husband’s birthday -They also included a birthday cake for him. This was a surprise birthday trip and that just topped it. (I had emailed the hotel prior to ask if there was availability for upgrade however they were full at my time of asking). The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. We did not interact much with hotel staff, they didn't seem interested. It was quite dull but an alright place to stay if you don't want to spend much time at the hotel.

Was surprised as didn’t expect much from a 3 star, but located in a great area you have the option to get the bus into Rhodes or walk into ixia which we found a great sports bar with amazing food called dimitrios! Don’t let the 3 star of this hotel fool you! Just been for a week and can’t wait to return, paid for an inland view without realising and on arrival we were given a sea view room with the best ever views! Well located hotel in easy reach of bars/restaurants and supermarkets (3). The staff are the friendliest and most helpful people where nothing is too much trouble. The pool is spotless with plenty of loungers and umbrellas and the snack bar is a good send keeping you stocked with beers. When the 2 weeks are extremely hot you need a relaxing environment to get through it.

The location isnt perfect but you can rent a car or scooter to go to Rhodos city. The rooms are great, just like the service. Realy friendly barkeepers!

It's a great place to stay. The rooms are clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is varied and a great start to the day. The location is good (close to the beach, bus stops). Would definitely stay again if I'm ever in the area again.

The hotel was lovely and clean! The bathroom was a little bit small but for the price it was perfect. My boyfriend particularly enjoyed the fridge as he could keep all his beer in there! Lovely cool and spacious room with huge bed, lovely linen. The rooms are very modern for Greece and the housekeeping and cleanliness is exceptional. Don't bother paying for coach transfers, taxis are plentiful and will get you there in 20 mins at a very reasonable price. As non residents i can't say anything about the rooms only that they looked good from outside. We spent all day everyday by the pool, on the sunbeds but we ate and drank here and it made our holiday. Friendly helpful staff, good food and drink and a quiet hotel without any noisy entertainment. However, there are places within walking distance if you want to swing your pants.

The rooms are OK, large with good TV, and AC . The sunbeds and umbrella are free ok charge. The only issue is with the free Wifi, that is very poor quality, and not have the possibility to pay for a better one.

I thought the Pylea Beach Hotel was a good price and I enjoyed my stay there. To be very honest for the cost, we experienced a small simple friendly and clean hotel with a lovely pool However there is not anything there after 7pm and you will be much better off hiring a vehicle as the walk into Ialysos is not ideal but all in all pretty good

This is literally one of the best hotels I have been to in my life. The breakfast was amazing, the location was perfect, the food in general was amazing and the pool had such an amazing temperature. The rooms were very big and we had a lovely balcony with the view of the pool. The employees were so personal and so nice we loved it. Definetely go to this place if you wanna go to Rhodes.

We had a lovely stay at this family ran Hotel. It is clean in all areas and the pool is just the right size and well maintained. All staff are courteous. Despite some of the reviews stating it is far out, my Son who is 16 and myself (considerably older) did not find the short walk to the bus stop far at all approx 10-15 minutes to get a the bus into Rhodes or connection to other locations. This is a wonderful small hotel with a very popular tavern. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel is kept clean by the wife of the manager. She is a great asset to the business. WiFi works well in some areas but not in others. There is no swimming pool but there are many places nearby that can be used to sunbathe.

I was happy to stay in a budget hotel and expected it to be out dated and didn’t mind as it was just a base. The cleaners came every day which I was impressed by so although the room was shabby I knew it was clean! It’s what you’d expect from a 3 star I guess. Hard, uncomfortable beds, everything just barely works (fridge on full and barely chilling the contents) and ants all over (in the kitchen). Very thin wall’s meant we also heard the kids next door crying in the night. Very polite and positive cleaning team though.

Nice and clean and private. Location is near to everything. Surroundings are not so nice but that does not bother on the pool. Food and drinks are good. Overall service is good. Our room was 2nd floor and one of the smallest. Small kitchen but remember to bring your salt and soup. One bedroom and sofabed. Sofabed is too small to bigger children so consider bigger room.
