Petra Holiday Village

Wow! What a lovely, beautyful hotel with a very friendly owner who was on site every day. And the view is " to die for", amazing. Thank You, Lisa for such a lovely Holiday!

Just back from 10 day stay in Petra . Superb holiday in excellent accomadation . Staff are all excellent . Studio individual apartment was very well laid out with lovely patio area overlooking harbour . Food was excellent . Atmosphere is very welcoming . Beach is on the doorstep and very safe for swimming . Local restaurants were excellent . There is bus connection to village and other beaches. Sunsets can be viewed from many locations . Walks to lighthouse and other tracks very amenable . Brilliant holiday and can’t wait to go back

Nous avons appréciés notre séjour à Petra Holiday Village. Nous avons adoré le concept du village. Le logement est spatieux avec une literie au top pour un hotel. Nous avons super bien dormis. Quel bonheur d'avoir la plage à 50 mètres de notre chambre. La vue est juste splendide de nuit avec la vue sur Chora et ses églises perchées sur la colline. Le petit déjeuner et les cocktails pris au bar nous ont charmés avec un personnel attentionné. Merci à Lisa et à son équipe. Nous avons pris nos repas le soir à Chora en haut du village, sur une petite place avec musique typique grecque. Nous regrettons de ne pas y être resté plus longtemps. Ios a été l'étape la plus idyllique de notre séjour dans les cyclades à Petra holiday village.

Sehr romantisches Hotel, herlich gelegen an einem traumhaften Sandstrand. Wunderbare Aussicht auf den Hafen. Nur ein paar Minuten zur Bushaltestelle in die Stadt - oder ca 15 Minuten Fußmarsch in die Partymetropole. Nettes Frühstückscaffe mit extrem freundlicher Bedienung. Danke an der Dame aus New York für den professionellen Empfang und die Betreuung während unserem Aufenthalt

The place was amazing, clean and had beautiful view. The girl owner very kind. I recomment to anyone. Best part wwas waking up in the morning and had my breakfast literaly by the sea. When i wanted i jumped in the sea , is just 5 meters away...

Petra Holiday was likely our best value-for-money hotel in the Cyclades. The apartments offer lovely shady terraces, the rooms are nice, with sea view, and it's super calm. The staff (Lisa) is super friendly and helpful.
It's not far from the harbor but they offered car transfer nonetheless.
I strongly recommend it if you're looking for a quieter option than Chora or Mylopotas but well connected to them.

Ho soggiornato con mio marito 10 giorni in questo appartamento e ci siamo trovati benissimo!!!! Tranquillo, pulito, silenzioso, in ottima posizione e con L ottimo supporto in ogni momento è per ogni esigenza di LISA, JOANNA e CRIS!!!! Lo consigliamo a tutti e sicuramente ci torneremo!!!! BRAVISSIMI!!!!!!!!!!!

The host picked us up from the port and gave us a great overview of the town and various activities around upon arrival. Location is unfaultable, just across the road from the beach. Also has a bar open 8am-11pm and easy access to the port area and town. Rooms are spacious and have pretty much everything needed for vacation.

Very good location (ideally you need a car to get around from there), simple but tasteful rooms. Great outdoor space, 2 min walk to the Yialos beach. I would rate it between 4 and 5, as it is a bit on the expensive side. Bathrooms in some rooms need renovation. Hosts and staff are very nice.

Fantastic spot, 14 steps away from the beach with a great view over the Aegean and the old town. The design is impeccable, as the owners are architects themselves and the houses are vary spacious with a good distance from one another, so nobody can disturb you. They are duplexes and we rented both, the ground floor for me and my husband and the top for our daughters, so really we had full independence! The hosts are friendly and cultivated people, so the interaction is very pleasant. Extra bonus the little cafe-taverna on the property. Definitely try the mousaka, it is a revelation!! Also you can walk to the harbour in 25 min, even climb the steps from there to the old town on the hill another 15 min and steep, so you end up sweaty. Better get a small car or motorbike…. Generally very cute island, traditional Cyclades and good selection of restaurants!
