Where to stay with pets in Kanali

Love it. Has amazing pool, bar and restaurant, professional and polite staff. And huge rooms with sea view. Beach right next to hotel. Quiet location. Worth every penny.

We have just had a two week stay in the Theoxenia which was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. This hotel is of a much higher standard than most we have experienced in Greece

The rooms are very comfortable, we had a family room that slept five in comfort and had a kitchenette, which was very useful. The breakfast is really plentiful

There was efficient aircon at no extra charge and well maintained insect screens on the sliding doors. Lighting was good both by the bedside and on the patio

The room and the hotel as a whole were built to a high standard and cleaning was meticulous. There is an enormous pool with ample comfortable sunbeds and parasols. A pleasant pool bar adjoins it

We stayed in a 'deluxe double' room which was extremely spacious with a separate kitchen and a very large balcony, with open outlook towards the sea

The waterpark at the hotel is great, the only thing is that since it is open not only for hotel guests, it gets a bit crowded at certain hours during the day. However, the staff looks after the safety and it is all OK

My only pet peeve is that the showers could have been a bit better: they worked, but they were quite ugly and cramped. Food in the restaurant was quite good. Breakfast buffet was ok, nothing to write home about

We have been here twice in the last 3 years. The hotel facilities have improved since we were here in 2019. The staff are polite, rooms are cleaned daily, sheets changed. The breakfast was great, there was a variety

The hotel is close to Mango beach bar, walking distance. You can also go by car to any of the near beach bars

The hotel is great for families, it has a nice set of water amenities. The staff was excellent, very helpful. The rooms were decent on par with what you would expect for a three star hotel

They have lots of people taking care the kids and their safety so you can relax and have a drink or a snack. Overall a positive experience if you are in the area

Lots of Greeks on their holidays and very few English people which suited us fine…we will definitely be back and will hire a car to explore Legolas, Preveza and the surrounding region

Location is great since Preveza, Lefkada or Parga is very close for visiting, and the beach of Kanali is sandy and very comfortable to stay the whole day, only there is a big stones in the see so you must be carefull when going to swim, but there is a parts with sandy entering

We were very pleased with this accomodation. The entire staff, including the owner were really kind and helpful. The apartment was clean and we also got a free use of a baby cot for our little one

Very nice hotel, quiet and peacefull, nice garden, swimming pool, shaded parking. Close to the beach where you can find free hotel's sunbeds and umbrellas. The rooms are cleaned every other day

We had a fabulous stay at Katerina. Lovely little pool, sea views from our balcony. Our studio had everything we needed, and the food at the restaurant was delicious

The breakfast was great - self service with a big variety and a great taste. There are 2 swimming pools, nice and clean, one smaller for little kids and one bigger

Near to beach ..nice place but needs much work to be done. No ceiling in bathroom! No trash can ,water leaking from air condition and toilet and the bathroom doors dont lock...if you are on vacation with family stay away

Stayed only at the beach...and ate at the restaurant...coffee is cheap but not the best quality...restaurant prices are regular but have good portions

Great place, clean, host are fine. There is no sidewalk so walking around is a little difficult.

We were stranded for two days due to a pilot strike in Sweden and I do not think we could have received better help from the staff at Must! We often received faster information from them than our travel agency

Dimitris (employee) was fantastically nice and told us about fantastic restaurants, booze, etc. Food: extremely reasonably priced, large portions, fresh and tasty

The hotel is very well located for being in the countryside, where you can roll out from the bed to the beach. It is also close to grocery store, bakery etc

The hotel nestles in is unique,and a place I defy any discerning traveller to find fault with. This was our second visit this year and we will definitely return

The best place to stay, from the moment we arrived its been nothing than great! Food, staff, cleaning, service everything! I will definitely come back.

Breakfast: in addition to basics such as bread, coffee, fruit, cake and juice, you can choose everything from eggs in every way, yogurt, toast etc

Not a problem as it was the middle of the summer, however they need to look at it. The beach in front of the hotel is long and quiet compared to other more popular coastal areas so it is great if you really want to relax

Great little hotel in a quiet area of the Ionian coast. Well the outside of the hotel is simple however the rooms are modern, bright and spacious, with good amenities. Sometimes though, hot water seemed to be an issue

Friendly, attantive and professional, they are always present and willing to help with a smile. The food also is high quality, leaning on gourmet with modern twists to some typical Greek seafood dishes

Not the wow effect of Parga or Lefkada which by the way are like 45-60min drive. However the best asset of this hotel is its staff

The private beach is not good since there are huge rocks inside the water

Great location, very close to the airport. Jorgas, the owner of the hotel is very helpful. It seemed like it was going to rain, so he brought us umbrellas immediately

Excellent place and very friendly staff. The location is great near the best beaches and the village has everything you need.

As far as the hotel, the rooms were so clean , views were beautiful, beds and linens were so soft, slept like a baby, breakfast and coffee was available, walking distance to many restaurants in the area

The manager was very friendly! The rooms were big and comfortable. The pool was big, clean and not too crowded and the bar at the pool is a plus. The hotel is located not far from the museum of Nikopolis

Great sea side hotel, that is perfect for families. It is close to Preveza and other great locations that are worth visiting. There is a pool available, but a close walk from the beach as well.

The only negative thing we could think of is the resonance in the hotel, but we can't say that it's noisy either. The hotel still deserves its 5 stars, I recommend

The village Mitikas is also very welcoming, with nice beaches which were not crowded at all during our stay. The beach next to the hotel has sun beds and umbrellas too

We came in a week day so there was almost no one in the hotel. Although we didn't enjoy the pool because of our many trips around the lafkada I really wanted to swim there

Oh, and the room was BIG! Basically a suite with mini kitchen, bathroom, TV, couple and single bed, big mirror, etc

Hotel Margarona was an excellent hotel. Cozy, very clean, with an ample breakfast and polite staff. The pool was big as Olympic pool. It was a pleasure to spend one night in this hotel

25 with a colleague working in the shipyard at Cleopatra Marina. The hotel was perfect for our needs and only 20 minutes drive to the shipyard

As working, we didn't venture out in the evenings and had the tasty buffet dinner in the hotel restaurant - incredible value at 18€ for three courses. Breakfast was also very good with a copious buffet

They really seemed to care very much about what they were doing. Hearty congrats to the managers selecting and training the staff. A lot of places could learn a lot from them

All very laudable but the overriding factor which made this stay most enjoyable was the attitude of all the staff I encountered

Location is 2kms from city centre, during day time one can walk downtown. Not recommended at dark, road is dark and passing by cars makes it dangerous

I can easily see this hotel as being the perfect home-away-from-home for exploring historical surroundings and beautiful beaches. It offers amazing food and quiet space to rest. I definitely would come back again

Everything is of high quality, from the room and the surroundings to the breakfast and, above all, the very kind and attentive staff. And all this for a very reasonable price. Truly great value for money (VFM)!

The food was so nice, coffee was great (50% off in the morning, wich felt like I was stealing it!!) The ice cream poolside was divine!! 🥰 Service (Marios and Kyriakos) was wonderful, and gave answers to all questions you could possibly have! I would definitely go back

Hotel had also bicycles and we biked the surroundings and foun a littke village restaurant called Olanthe (worth visiting) in village called Agios Thomas. The menu in restaurant could be a little bit larger

The hotel is very high standard. Staff is all extremly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is like a little paradise. Green, flowers, singing birds. Everywhere in the hotel area was extremly clean

The room was spacious, balcony was surrounded by trees (I could actually enjoy the birds), everyone was so friendly and the Chef Dimitrios's lovingly prepared food was amazing - even though it broke my heart to leave food on the plates as the portions were huge

Dilapidated hotel, stuck in the 80s and 90s. Close to the center and the port. The staff is friendly and helpful. Left for last time, not so attractive.

Alonaki Resort was such a great hotel that it has even exceeded my expectations! Everything, including the gorgeous and serene setting alongside olive and lemon groves surrounding the property, was fantastic

I was also amazed by the service I received from the staff, who were truly outstanding. The reception team did their best in every aspect so that we could have an unforgettable stay at the hotel

Evening meals in Preveza were fantastic, with a 7 Euro taxi fare each way per night. Try the restaurants in the back streets of the town. Walks along the harbour in the evening lovely

This is a wonderful, peaceful oasis of calm a little bit outside Preveza, and a very short walk to Alonaki beach. Bright, clean, with very friendly staff and a lovely breakfast

Really hard beds, no furniture in balcony, breakfast is ok except you get served what the guests before you left over, the owner is a real character though. Tries to please and works Like a dog

They have long duvets! Mind-blowing. Don't expect great luxury, but the owners are just so so nice. The breakfast is overwhelming, and the staff makes you feel just so incredibly welcome

Oh, and most importantly, helping stored our luggages after checking out while having a quick stroll to the old town. Greg and Alley is very helpful indeed

We were very well looked after at this hotel. the hotel is well appointed and clean. They arranged for the six of us to have one room up til 5pm on the day we left as we had an evening flight

Bed is confi, AC and heating works. Perfect for a stay even a little longer. Accoustics is bad in the rooms, you hear other guests coming home a lot

The hotel is situated in the old town of Preveza , close to all the restaurants and the busy bustling small Allie ways full of life. But the hotel has no particular view which is part of a good location as well

The rooms are a little more basic than the name of the hotel suggests, but at the price they are great value and so you can’t complain. The staff were all very friendly and helpful whilst we were there too.

Very nice, family friendly hotel near the city center. Everything was neat and clean and the staff was very friendly. We really liked the room. The beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again!

Very thin walls so didn’t sleep well so I recommend you bring ear plugs! Best thing which was unexpected was a balcony with a sea view! I’d come again - but ask for a room on third floor and bring ear plugs!

You feel it like going to a pension with a old but nice host couple. Rooms are spacious, the hotel very clean, the water in the pool is warm and the breakfast is just fine. Finally is there the location

Perfect place to stay in Preveza This has been one of the best holiday we've ever had. The hospitality and customer service was above and beyond, we were always well looked after and felt like home

The host was very hospitable, always helping with what was needed. The room had stunning views of the sunset. Breakfasts were fine, just like at home.

The location is great being near the sea and you can easy book a taxi into the town for only 5 euro. The beach right by the apartment complex is rocky and so would not be ideal for children

My studio apartments was very modern and exceptionally clean, with great sea views. There is a lovely garden area which has some shade and is a lovely place to have an early evening drink

The staff and owners were all very friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations for local places to eat. A gift of some local produce in my room on arrival was a lovely gesture

Luckily they all left the next day and it was very peaceful for the next week. Preveza town is lovely and there are some great things to see in the local area if you hire a car

However access is easy for swimming and there are sandy beaches nearby. The day I arrived there were quite a few children staying at the complex so it was quite noisy

The Kitehouse is surrounded by little garden with many places to sit and eat outside. It is really close at the water and the shore is directly accessible through a separate little gate

The house is fully equipped and the owners are extremely friendly and supportive. We loved the house, it was for us as being home

The room was comfortable, the bed excellent and we had a lovely relaxing start to our sailing holiday. We would certainly recommend it - we wished we had stayed for longer than one night
