Love it. Has amazing pool, bar and restaurant, professional and polite staff. And huge rooms with sea view. Beach right next to hotel. Quiet location. Worth every penny.

We have just had a two week stay in the Theoxenia which was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. This hotel is of a much higher standard than most we have experienced in Greece

Its not big, so never feels crowded yet has a large pool and tennis court ( though they need some new rackets and balls)

There was efficient aircon at no extra charge and well maintained insect screens on the sliding doors. Lighting was good both by the bedside and on the patio

The room and the hotel as a whole were built to a high standard and cleaning was meticulous. There is an enormous pool with ample comfortable sunbeds and parasols. A pleasant pool bar adjoins it

My one suggestion would that a wider selection of fruit be offered and perhaps a modern coffee machine with different choices

Visited the place for the kids to have fun in their water park. You spent 10 euros per person for all the facilities or 5 for jacuzzi and pools

The waterpark at the hotel is great, the only thing is that since it is open not only for hotel guests, it gets a bit crowded at certain hours during the day. However, the staff looks after the safety and it is all OK

We have been here twice in the last 3 years. The hotel facilities have improved since we were here in 2019. The staff are polite, rooms are cleaned daily, sheets changed. The breakfast was great, there was a variety

The hotel is close to Mango beach bar, walking distance. You can also go by car to any of the near beach bars

My only pet peeve is that the showers could have been a bit better: they worked, but they were quite ugly and cramped. Food in the restaurant was quite good. Breakfast buffet was ok, nothing to write home about

The hotel is great for families, it has a nice set of water amenities. The staff was excellent, very helpful. The rooms were decent on par with what you would expect for a three star hotel

We had a fabulous stay at Katerina. Lovely little pool, sea views from our balcony. Our studio had everything we needed, and the food at the restaurant was delicious

Very nice hotel, quiet and peacefull, nice garden, swimming pool, shaded parking. Close to the beach where you can find free hotel's sunbeds and umbrellas. The rooms are cleaned every other day

The breakfast was great - self service with a big variety and a great taste. There are 2 swimming pools, nice and clean, one smaller for little kids and one bigger

Our host, Angelo was super nice and funny, made us feel like friends immediately. The Pool and the breakfast were great, too. Very nice and clean rooms, shaded parking lots!!

Location is great since Preveza, Lefkada or Parga is very close for visiting, and the beach of Kanali is sandy and very comfortable to stay the whole day, only there is a big stones in the see so you must be carefull when going to swim, but there is a parts with sandy entering

We were very pleased with this accomodation. The entire staff, including the owner were really kind and helpful. The apartment was clean and we also got a free use of a baby cot for our little one

It also has its own pool, and of course pool bar, where you can find quality drinks and cocktails. If you stay here be sure to try the hotel's restaurant, gourmet deliciousness guaranteed!

Warm and friendly staff, very welcoming, comfortable beds, sunbeds on the beach just across the very quiet road. Nice to be there out of season - very quiet

One minor note is the pool hours close quite early and opens quite late in the day. You won't regret coming to this hotel, I know I will be back. Thank you so much to the whole team that made my holiday a real pleasure

A good hotel with high potential for the future. The service was good and the breakfast really good. Just the room was not sooo clean in my opinion

Great little hotel in a quiet area of the Ionian coast. Well the outside of the hotel is simple however the rooms are modern, bright and spacious, with good amenities. Sometimes though, hot water seemed to be an issue

Not a problem as it was the middle of the summer, however they need to look at it. The beach in front of the hotel is long and quiet compared to other more popular coastal areas so it is great if you really want to relax

The manager was very friendly! The rooms were big and comfortable. The pool was big, clean and not too crowded and the bar at the pool is a plus. The hotel is located not far from the museum of Nikopolis

Great sea side hotel, that is perfect for families. It is close to Preveza and other great locations that are worth visiting. There is a pool available, but a close walk from the beach as well.

The only negative thing we could think of is the resonance in the hotel, but we can't say that it's noisy either. The hotel still deserves its 5 stars, I recommend

The pool is chemical free and large and there is a wonderful outside kitchen with a family sized table, bbq, dishwasher etc. A short taxi ride away is a pretty, long beach with bars and the sunbeds on the beach are free

We’ve just come back from a fabulous family holiday in this beautiful, very large luxurious villa. The accommodation is very clean, bright (lots of floor to ceiling glass doors) and amazingly equipped

However if one evening you want a more buzzy atmosphere, a short taxi ride away is Preveza which has many bars and wonderful restaurants to choose from

We would also highly recommend doing the Dolphin Boat Trip with Dimitri from Preveza. So thank you very much to our wonderful hosts, we will be back!

The villa is set in a quiet sleepy village with a couple of nice bars, restaurants

Very family friendly, very beautiful! They have a lot of attention at plants and they are caring them every they. Rooms are perfects, with a huge balcony, the beach is very near

The village Mitikas is also very welcoming, with nice beaches which were not crowded at all during our stay. The beach next to the hotel has sun beds and umbrellas too

We came in a week day so there was almost no one in the hotel. Although we didn't enjoy the pool because of our many trips around the lafkada I really wanted to swim there

The hotel is great and its swimming pool enormous. Its rooms and all its spaces in general are great too. The breakfast is mostly home made but rather poor and the staff is very polite and professional

Air conditioning in every room. We all had a great time in the pool even though there are several nice beaches nearby (that we also visited). I totally recommend it for couples or families

Hotel Margarona was an excellent hotel. Cozy, very clean, with an ample breakfast and polite staff. The pool was big as Olympic pool. It was a pleasure to spend one night in this hotel

25 with a colleague working in the shipyard at Cleopatra Marina. The hotel was perfect for our needs and only 20 minutes drive to the shipyard

As working, we didn't venture out in the evenings and had the tasty buffet dinner in the hotel restaurant - incredible value at 18€ for three courses. Breakfast was also very good with a copious buffet

They really seemed to care very much about what they were doing. Hearty congrats to the managers selecting and training the staff. A lot of places could learn a lot from them

All very laudable but the overriding factor which made this stay most enjoyable was the attitude of all the staff I encountered

Everyone, from receptionists, bar and waiting staff, even the pool lifeguard on the Wednesday evening were absolutely delightful, going about their business in a super-friendly, welcoming manner

The place was exceptionally clean and well- appointed - and the beds were amazing! There was a lovely view of the luxurious pool and restaurant - it all had an Ibizan chill to it

Alonaki Resort was such a great hotel that it has even exceeded my expectations! Everything, including the gorgeous and serene setting alongside olive and lemon groves surrounding the property, was fantastic

Clean comfortable spacious room, 2 suites. When asking for a day room after our 2 night stay this was accommodated in an instant which was great as our transfer to Lefkas was late afternoon

The rooms are a little more basic than the name of the hotel suggests, but at the price they are great value and so you can’t complain. The staff were all very friendly and helpful whilst we were there too.

Very thin walls so didn’t sleep well so I recommend you bring ear plugs! Best thing which was unexpected was a balcony with a sea view! I’d come again - but ask for a room on third floor and bring ear plugs!

It was perfect! Such a friendly receptionist who checked us in and booked our taxi for us for the morning who was very prompt and printed boarding passes for us

Excellent value for money! Came here last minute at the end of a sailing trip. All other hotels in preveza were full and we weren’t sure what to expect

The apartment was huge and very clean. The hotel and the swimming pool was fantastic. We will definitely come back in the future

The location is great being near the sea and you can easy book a taxi into the town for only 5 euro. The beach right by the apartment complex is rocky and so would not be ideal for children

My studio apartments was very modern and exceptionally clean, with great sea views. There is a lovely garden area which has some shade and is a lovely place to have an early evening drink

The staff and owners were all very friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations for local places to eat. A gift of some local produce in my room on arrival was a lovely gesture

Luckily they all left the next day and it was very peaceful for the next week. Preveza town is lovely and there are some great things to see in the local area if you hire a car

However access is easy for swimming and there are sandy beaches nearby. The day I arrived there were quite a few children staying at the complex so it was quite noisy

We booked this hotel as it looked convenient to the town centre and local restaurants. The room was an excellent size, with 2 balconies overlooking the sea. The owner/manager recommended a local restaurant for us

I have been at San Giovanni 5 yrs.ago. Revisited this year, though we didn't stay. Still nice and clean with a decent size pool next to the bar. Great location, basically on Agios Ioannis beach.

The pool area and snack bar is ideal because there is space for you to lounge by the pool and a space for you to sit and relax in the shade by the snack bar

We enjoyed our stay but the amount of parents using the pool with uncontrollable screaming kids left us with a bitter taste

The staff is very kind and the place is very nice. The beach in front is for wind surf mainly but the city of Lefkada is close and you can reach every popular beach by car

Yiannis beach that provides breakfast and on site snacks throughout the day. You can come to San Giovani, never leave the hotel and still have a wonderful vacation

In particular, the two receptionists, Rania and Joana, are absolutely wonderful people; they provided invaluable advice on places and beaches to visit, as well as authentic Greek tavernas where we could sample local products

The taxi from the airport is about 10-15 min and costs 25euro as you go through the tunnel with a toll charge. You can get drinks by the pool but there is no restaurant on site but lots of recommended places to walk to

There is a kitchen area with all facilities and large bathroom. We had a wrap around balcony with views of the pool which was also very clean and never crowded. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful

This hotel is absolutely perfect - the location, the comfort, right in the heart of all the Lefkada action - relaxing and clean pool to cool off after a hot summer day spent at the beach or on a cruise around the island, short walk to shops and restaurants and the Instagram picture worthy spots in town for sunset

This hotel is ideally placed only minutes from the marina and also the main square with its fabulous restaurants and shops. The rooms are spacious and clean with large balconies overlooking the marina or the pool

What definitely requires a mention is the pool which is one of the loveliest I have had the pleasure to swim in

We stayed one night at this hotel on our way to meet friends and we had a great experience. The room was enormous, beautiful, very clean and comfortable with everything we could possibly have needed
