If you want a hotel that is not in town and that is surrounded by nature, this is your place. The hotel is right off the main road, surrounded by small farms, with roosters crowing and sheep bells ringing off in the distance. The small river runs right behind the hotel, so the area is full of bird life. The breakfast buffet is easily the best buffet I’ve had in my entire life. The wide selection of really good food along with the beautiful presentation made it something to look forward to every day. There are a couple of dogs and cats that seem to live at the hotel. So if you’re missing your pets from home, you can enjoy spending time with these friendly animals. And the view can’t be beat. This area is referred to as the Greek Switzerland for good reason. The beautiful mountain right across from the hotel is a wonder to look at every day.

We spent one night at the hotel with our child and were very impressed. The outdoor spaces, including the yard and pool area, are thoughtfully designed for both adults and children to enjoy. The staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming, and we appreciated the family-friendly amenities particularly the kids’ movie night in the dedicated playroom. The highlight of our stay was without a doubt the breakfast. It ranks among the top five hotel breakfasts we have ever experienced, including those at international hotels in major tourist destinations

Super kids friendly hotel. The hotel is on the road with an open parking in front of the hotel reception. From the first moment the staff of the hotel were extremely helpfull with our luggage and offer complementary drinks while doing the check in. The room was large quiet and nice furnished. We were there with kids and a huge dog and hotel had all amenities for the kids, even had a cinema night. The rooms are next to a river on which they have barrel saunas. Please note in the hotel garden there are free dogs which are friendly, and we didn't had a problem with our pet. Amazing view as the hotel is situated opposite of the mountain top.

We stayed for the second time in this magnificent Hotel. The location is perfect and the view outstanding. The facilities are brand new and luxurious. The Hotel Staff is fantastic! We absolutely recommend Oniropetra for a memorable stay!

After a roadtrip to the North we decided to spend the last night in Karpenissi. The hotel is located in a fantastic location. Our room was facing the small river and the forest at back of the hotel, so there was no noise from the main road. The room was spacious with a fireplace. There was a lot of lack of attention to details. For a hotel with prices well above average you would expect more. The welcome details on arrival were not what you would expect. The room had no cutlery - due to covid they say but this is now history- and no one lets you know and then you realize until you have settled in the room and have checked around. The flip flops were of bad quality and there was no welcome gift in the room but a basket with product for you to buy, if interested. You had to buy a bottle of water. The decoration was very good but one lamp was hanging right in front of the TV. Not ideal. The breakfast was one of the best we had ever. A great variety of products and delicacies. During the night is snowed and it was beautiful in the morning. I would suggest more attention to detail as this place has a huge potential.

Heb gebruik gemaakt van het restaurant. Wat een teleurstelling. Starter was ok, maar hoofdgerecht ver beneden peil. Smaakloos en de rooster had totaal geen vlees op het bot. Bij kenbaar maken van onze ontevredenheid werd niet gereageerd. Tevens was de keus uiterst beperkt. Jammer van de ervaring, daar het hotel er goed uit ziet.

What a beautiful and peaceful place 🌞
We came group of 12 adults to hike the area and fell in love with this area of Greece.
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are big and spacious and very well designed.
Nice saona in the yard right above one of many streams there.
We had breakfast which was very tasty and with a big variety to choose from.
The staff was very nice and helpful.
The view is breathtaking.

Everything was perfect! We stayed at the de luxe suite with private veranda. The room was very spacious, very clean. There was a fire place too inside the room. Kids loved the playroom! And we all enjoyed the super delicious breakfast. Everything was handmade and different from what we have in mind for an ordinary breakfast. The staff was very gentle and willing to help with everything we needed. I strongly recommend it and I will visit Oniropetra again of course!
