Amalia Hotel Delphi

A beautiful Hotel in a beautufiul area of Greece. It's our first time in this area. Our room was great, very spacious and clean. The Staff were great. Once we got there we were lucky to be able to check in as we were a little early. So off it was to the Pool. it was nice and cool. Staff at the pool bar were great. we ordered a couple of drinks and I had to order one of my best sweets to eat the baklava.. The breakfast was great, it would have been nice to have spent 1x more night but it has been a long holiday and had to head off to Athens for the last night before we fly out. Will def come here again. Oh before I forget, the little sweets in our room when we arrive were awesome. Thank you.

We stayed in three different Amalia hotels during our tour and this was my favourite one! We had an incredible view to watch the sun! The bed was very comfortable, room was spacious and I’m pretty sure the bathroom had in floor heat. Only complaint was you could tell the room wasn’t the most soundproof. However, noisy neighbours weren’t an issue for us so that didn’t cause any problems during our stay. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel!

Amazing views, spacious, quiet, comfortable, large pool virtually to ourselves…. Touring Greece we stayed four nights here but would happily have stayed more, by far best nights sleep in any hotel of our trip. Stone floors in public areas, our room recently refurbished, car parking outside reception. The trick here is to avoid the many coach parties which arrive late, eat, sleep, and leave early!! Hot dinner buffet 17 euros including wine is great value but a bit dry after the masses have had their fill but there’s great local restaurants in town, minutes walking distance, which we used subsequently. We walked to Apollos temple site and back which is the other side of town, having enjoyed a leisurely breakfast with the handful of other independent travellers. Galaxidi, its maritime museum and mount Parnassus are also well worth visiting locally. Said before but this hotel looks like a 70’s James Bond movie set. Ask for a room with a view!! Loved it!

Amelia Hotel is a gem. Each cosy room has a balcony- ours overlooked the Gulf of Corinth. Delightful and friendly staff, delicious food, glorious crystal clean pool, the perfect retreat after a day exploring the Temple of Apollo and the wonderful Museum.
It is a location you may not want to leave!

This was a great stay. Our kids loved it - my wife loved it. Things to note: The food is mediocre- do not do the buffet. We did it - we were okay, but we ate so much better outside. The breakfast is okay but not great. The building is older but build for eternity- and we felt that is was high quality, clean and well maintained. The design is timeless with a hint of 1970s. It could be a James Bond Set.

The staff all around this hotel is incredible. The staff in the dining areas, the cleaning staff, the staff at reception, are always doing their best. The inspirational design of the hotel speaks for itself, whose architect is no one else but Nikos Valsamakis.

I didn’t stay the night but our tour company took us here for lunch. The food tasted high quality and the staff were super friendly and very welcoming. The hotel grounds were also very clean and beautiful. I didn’t see the rooms unfortunately but I would definitely stop by if I’m visiting Delphi

A very beautiful hotel with the best location in Delphi. Though it’s a 60-year-old building, the design is amazing, with the project signed by architect Valsamakis in 1965. A large part of the hotel has been renovated without altering its original aesthetics. The staff was very polite, especially the barman at the pool bar and Panagiotis at breakfast. The pool was fantastic, our room was spotless, and the view was breathtaking.

We had a mixed experience with this hotel. The location is simply incredible, with amazing views and a fantastic pool. The hotel is clean and well kept, and the staff were superb.
The hotel seems set up to deal with customers who are on a one night stop during a tour. After breakfast (which was great), most services become limited, the bar was closed, there's no lunch service, and the hotel is dead (which was great to have the pool to ourselves). When the tour buses arrive at 3, everything picks up again.
The rooms were very well appointed, although the beds are so super soft that it may be an issue for someone with back problems. The AC was dreadful which made sleeping a challenge. On checkout we were charged for the water we'd drank from the room, which wasn't replenished during our stay.
All in all it's a great place and we enjoyed our stay, but expect slightly more from a 4 star hotel.
