Porto Alegre Hotel

We had an amazing stay here for 14 nights. Great people and well kept hotel with amazing standards. Better hotel for a 3 star rating compared to many 4 star ones I have been in. Good location outside city if you enjoy sun tanning and pool and occasional dipping in ocean or a bus ride to city.

•Staff was very welcoming and we were constantly asked are we happy with our stay.

•Reception area stationed at all times. Clean and well air continioned. Comfy and spacious seating.
•Bar area was super clean and nice table service.
•Pool area was well maintained and cleaned often, so were the glass fences and sun beds.
•Pool area had an outdoor shower and indoor shower with adjustable water temperature.
•Pool area had a nice inflatible flamingo toy.
•16 sunbeds but plenty of them were always open to use.
•Amazing breakfast, fresh and simple, medium variety.
•Breathtaking view from the breakfast floor. (4th floor)
•Elevator to all floors. (1st-3rd rooms, 2nd reception, 4th breafast lounge)
•Cleaning staff was nice and talkative. Rooms were cleaned well.
•Recommend taking a room with a ocean view. Amazing to sit in your own balcony with a view.
•Close to hotel there is a bus stop, place to buy tickets, ATM, pharmacy, shops and markets.
•Good restaurants nearby and short connection to city.

To improve:
•Breakfast coffee could be bit stronger.
•Perhaps more active selling of snacks and drinks at the pool.
•Amount of power sockets in room bit low.
•Perhaps it is whole Crete but toilet flush is low water pressure.

Beautiful place for holidays just near the town of Chania just on the sea!!!

Very elegant location, close to the sea, with a beautiful and clean pool.
Staff very nice and polite.
Rooms are comfortable and clean, with everything you need to stay.
Excellent breakfast with every kind of food, vegetables, cheese, ham, bread, eggs, milk, coffee, etc...
I loved so much have a breakfast on top in the terrace roof.

We stayed here for 5 nights for our honeymoon. They had gone out of their way to decorate the room and bedding with roses and a free bottle of wine for us without us asking. The room was nice and big, and the bathroom was nice as well. The pool was fantastic! very large and deep. The front desk people were very helpful with directions and booking tours for us. This hotel is also located next to a fantastic restaurant (Salvantes) and is a short less than 10 min walk from the beach. We highly recommend this hotel. Also the buffet breakfast was great, it had eggs, sausages, bacon, tons of baked goods, and different types of cheese, etc...

Convenient location, close to Chania town, clean, personnel very friendly and helpfull, 24h reception

Excellent views and people who are very caring.Close enough to Chaina to enjoy both worlds city and the beach life. Easy place to walk around to restaurants and beaches. I loved enough to being back next May for 2 weeks.
