Loved it! We felt like we'd stumbled on a closely guarded secret. What a beautiful place. The staff were ever so friendly, the rooms cleans and spacious, amazing views, the breakfast filling and tasty, the evening food brilliant and having a large pool and the free shuttle to town made us feel like we had the best of everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Obviously, leaving me a room for when I will go again!

royal sun is the most incredible hotel i’ve stayed at! facilities and amenities are amazing and similar to that of a 5 star hotel. from the free laundry room, free shuttle to and from town, on-site car rental, daily excursions, delicious breakfasts to the rooftop restaurant with stunning sunset views, every area was so thoughtfully planned out. service was exceptional too! staff were extremely helpful and kind and it made me feel as if i was staying with family. chania was one of the most stunning places i’ve been and this experience was made even better by staying at royal sun. can’t wait to be back 😊❤️🇬🇷

Our stay at Royal Sun was wonderful. We enjoyed very comfortable rooms, nice pool area, excellent breakfast and dinner in Michelin-class restaurant The Hill with an amazing view over Chania city. The free transfer service to Chania Old Town and back (shuttle bus goes every 30 minutes) offered by hotel is definitely a plus! Instead of having three, the hotel is absolutely worth four stars.

We arrived at the hotel and didn't regret it for a moment. It was worth every euro, the hotel offers a lot - car rental, transportation to the city and back, breakfasts, and a restaurant that is open from morning until night (also very good). The service is kind and full of energy, they addressed every request and even placed an order from a restaurant to the room

The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a stunning view of Chania. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the attention to detail in cleanliness and design was impressive. We had such a great experience! Room was comfy and clean and they even offered a free laundry room which was very helpful. I would also recommend the restaurant the food was amazing. Not to mention the view from the hotel was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Pros - view from the restaurant (average cuisine). About the rooms: depends on the occupancy, if with a sea view - it will be good, if to the courtyard and also under the restaurant - you will hear the noise of the hood, washing machine and God knows what else... I do not recommend the hotel.

Great friendly staff. The hotel has an amazing view. The best part is the on-site restaurant and room service. The food is amazing. With breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. There is also an on-site bar. The hotel offers room service, a pool on the roof, and also free rides to the old port. If you want a message that is available. One day I'll be back with my family instead of being here for work.

Excellent hotel. Great service from friendly efficient staff. An easy walk downhill, 2 miles from the old venetian harbour [keep a look out for the turtles!] - just follow the main road down and turn left. Uphill on the return. The nearest supermarket is approx 300 metres down the road. We had meals during the day around the pool and ate 3 times in the restaurant at night. Excellent food inc at breakfast. We stayed on the 3rd floor and the views from our balcony looking over Chania were stunning. Thank you Royal Sun...pure bliss and we will return.
