Breakfast was fresh,varied and delicious .Location was at the center of everything (50 yds from the beach, the bus and a bunch of dining options ) Aphrodite, the proprietor couldn’t have been nicer nor more attentive . I felt right at home.

The Studio we had was very spacious, the kitchen cum livingroom was well equipped and nicely furnished. The Patio was nice to sit in and had an outdoor shower, which was handy. Alas, It was supposed to have two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, but the upper bedroom had no door, the lower one just a pullout bed. One bathroom was a toilet with a washbasin, the other bathroom had a toilet and a shower...

This is a very nice small hotel with comfortable apartments. Neat, clean, equipped with the essentials, even to cook or put in a washing machine. Great hotel, extremely comfortable and with all the necessary amenities. In the apartments you feel as if you are at home and they are always well-kept and spotlessly clean, while the view even from the courtyard, in front, is wonderful. Splendid apartment in the heart of the village of Anos Syros. Magnificent welcome and impeccable service. To access the terrace, small window. Not easy for some but the view of the harbor is magnificent. Thank you for everything.

Very nice apartment very well located in Ano Syros. The only downside could be the access to the terrace for some people. The steps are high and the access door is not very high or wide. Otherwise nothing to say. It's very clean and the woman who rents is adorable. She offered us chocolate buns. Taverns and bars are only a few minutes walk away. It is absolutely necessary to rent a scooter or a car...

Lovely flat in a beautiful part of syros. Ano Syros is very tranquil and picturesque - the perfect place to relax ! The balcony in our flat was a great place to unwind and has wonderful views over the island. You can walk into hermoupoli (down many steps!) however the walk back is difficult given how steep it is. A taxi will cost you about €5.

This is one of those places where you have to visit once in your life! It's situated in a very pittoresques part of the Island called Ano Syros, which is a old small town perched on the side of the mountain bellow a very old church. Definitely recommend ! 5 out of 5. Stayed at Axilleion for 4 days. Very great host. We arrived by ferry from Naxos and unfortunately had a two hours delay due to the ferry company. We informed the host and he managed to keep the reception open just for us. Furthermore, obtained a nice list of local tips on what to do and see in Syros. The double room is nice and clean. Perfect in every way. The staff worked very hard to make our stay perfect. Small but very clean pool onsite. The beach is around five minutes walk away with a shop and a few restaurants are very close. I highly recommend this place! The island of Syros is brilliant as well.

Overall the accommodation was ok. Yet, the shower was very small and the water pressure low. Furthermore, the room was not cleaned the last day before our departure though it was cleaned every day all the previous days. The staff were super friendly and helpful at breakfast and cleaning. We had our room cleaned everyday with fresh sheets and towels provided (although not quite environmentally friendly). Great value for money! Nice hotel with friendly staff, and only a 5 minute walk from the beach. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the pool. A few minor comments are that the walls were a bit thin. Also our towels were replaced with clean ones every day, which seemed a bit unnecessary and isn’t good for the environment. Other than that, we would definitely recommend this place - thank you!

Very nice hotel very close to the beach! The room is perfect! The bathroom is excellent! The aluminum frames are new with screens. In short, the hotel deserves many stars. The staff is very kind! The location is just outstanding, it's literally 3 minutes from Galissas Beach. The best beach in the island in my opinion. It's also near by to mini markets, caffe and restaurants. I decided last minute to come to Syros and I couldn’t find too many options for staying. I was a bit skeptical when seeing this hotel because i usually go only to 4*&5* hotels but exceeded my expectations !! the room was sparking clean, bathroom recently renovated and towels changed every day! the customer service was great, as one of a 5* hotel and very friendly and polite! great price and location...

A nice establishment in a convenient location, if quite noisy. Room was spacious but with a very small bathroom. Breakfast was unacceptable. Generally the hotel lacks proper management to focus on details , in order to justify its price.

Well equipped, very clean apartments in a great location in Galissa beach. Hospitable and polite owners always ready to help or provide advice. They even offered me a free ride to the port. Galissa beach ia an optimum choice for family vacations. Everything is approachable in a walking distance. The beach is sandy and really clean plus it offers public amenities. Will return to George rooms next summer...

Very friendly host! He also provides shuttle services from/to (air)port and has a quad/sand buggy/moped/motorcycle rental center. Excellent daily room cleaning service, the beach is some 300 meters away and there's a great selection of bars, coffee shops and tavernas nearby! Good value for the money! I'll definitely come back next year!

We've been going to Galissas, Syros for many years and for the last 14 we always stay with George and Anna. The accommodation is clean, safe, very close to the beach, some great restaurants and bars and each visit it is like coming back to stay with old friends. George and his family are always very helpful and they also have the motorcycle and cart rental business

I might have had the best room from a goddess point of view. I could barely see the sea from the side, but I had beautiful Bougainvillea. Quiet room and hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms completely renovated. Colors and decoration contribute to relaxation. The people who served me were extremely kind and caring. Everything is great.

The Hotel is a haven literally 50 metres from the beach with great facilities - lovely pool and sitting areas. Breakfast was exceptional - lots of choices and not only great food but lots of it. The staff are delightful and do everything to make your stay enjoyable and are incredibly accommodating - we had a 4.00PM ferry and were allowed to keep our room until 1.00PM which was really helpful.

We had a great time in the Hotel Benois! We really enjoyed our time and we are looking forward to coming back! Breakfast: The breakfast was great in comparison to the restaurant of other places we stayed in greece. There is a buffet with handmade sweets and cakes. They were really delicious! We accidentally got off the wrong ferry port in Syros and there were no more ferries that day to Mykonos. We quickly looked up on our phone hotels and came across Hotel Benois. Everyone at the hotel went out of their way to welcome us for one night. The rooms and property were very clean and nice. The food was excellent. The beach across the street was beautiful and got to watch gorgeous sunset...

Outstanding hotel, with very nice and professional staff ; nonetheless, the housekeepers are very noisy, and it is difficult to take a nap in the afternoon. An effort must be made on this level. The swimming pool is perfect and well maintained. Nice place and location for holidays.

Excellent value for money and a very relaxing place to stay. A clean room with excellent wifi, a lovely balcony and just five mins to the beach, as well as to the local bus stop for buses that take you all around the island. Beautiful place with sweet host. Stones throw from the beach in a peaceful village. Regular busses to Ermoupoli and Port. Busses stop running to here at 9:30pm.

A very lovely place, with fair prices and a friendly and kind host. She made sure we had everything we needed and that we’re comfortable. The accommodation is located in a nice rural area, near a beautiful beach. Our rooms had wifi, ac, kitchen stuff, a handy electrical stove and a kettle. There are a few restaurants in the area + a mini market.

Stayed there a couple of years ago, I honestly cannot express how lovely, hospitable and friendly Mrs. Angela is, always available to chat with guests. A true example of Greek hospitality. The rooms are tasteful, spacious, clean and tidy, with plenty of windows to let in the Greek sun. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a modest place to stay in near the beach of Galissas.

Nice hotel, reminds me of the 90’s, very old in a quiet place near the beach, about 20 minutes from the island center, they clean it every day, everything is working but too old, simple and but necessary amenities, breakfast is too small😥, too little options, not even a simple omelette. Fair price no more than 70€ per day, including breakfast.

Moderate 3 star hotel, nothing special, bit dated. 50 meters away from the beach the biggest advantage.

Actually we didn't stay in the rooms but we've met the lovely owners who have a cafe and a shop downstairs. They are marvellous. The village itself is special and I definitely recommend the rooms as we saw pictures and we know were is. Next year we'll stay there for sure. We just love Galissas!!

We very much enjoyed our stay here at Peter & Tony's rooms. As already mentioned on here, rooms are simple, but functional. Tony was an incredibly hospitable host and went above and beyond should we have had any requests - for example, organising a taxi for us at 6am to get to the port. It's very close to Galissas beach and you can take the bus to other beach destinations close by. Breakfast is plentiful...
