My wife and I spent three nights here. Anna and her husband were excellent hosts and were a font of information. Their breakfast was superb. A very pretty location. The drive to Ermoppoli is 20 minutes by bus or taxi. During the off peak season, there isn't much in the way of open restaurants.

Definitely recommend ! 5 out of 5. Stayed at Axilleion for 4 days. Very great host. We arrived by ferry from Naxos and unfortunately had a two hours delay due to the ferry company. This was a rally nice place. Very clean, a small kitchenett and a rather large bathroom. A small balcony was much appreciated. Frequent buss depatures to different parts of the island os five minutes walk from the accomodation. Highly recommended.

I decided last minute to come to Syros and I couldn’t find too many options for staying. Breakfast was fresh,varied and delicious .Location was at the center of everything (50 yds from the beach, the bus and a bunch of dining options ) Aphrodite, the proprietor couldn’t have been nicer nor more attentive . I felt right at home.

The Studio we had was very spacious, the kitchen cum livingroom was well equipped and nicely furnished. The Patio was nice to sit in and had an outdoor shower, which was handy. Alas, It was supposed to have two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms, but the upper bedroom had no door, the lower one just a pullout bed. One bathroom was a toilet with a washbasin, the other bathroom had a toilet and a shower...

A nice establishment in a convenient location, if quite noisy. Room was spacious but with a very small bathroom. Breakfast was unacceptable. Generally the hotel lacks proper management to focus on details , in order to justify its price.

We stayed there in August/22, John and Maria are amazing hosts always there to answer any questions and guide us as much as possible. We even had the pleasant surprise of being picked up from the airport.

We had a great stay at the guesthouse! We stayed there 4 nights. The hosts made a great effort to make sure we are comfortable. They gave us coffee and cake every morning and even switched us to a room with ocean view for two nights as it the room became available. Both rooms were great and had a balcony. The rooms are very well maintained and very clean.

Location was great, downtown and easy to access. Soundproofing was good too, something important, since it’s right on the road. This is my favourite budget hotel in my favourite cycladic island. The hotel stands in a quite side street above the harbor area, in the very center of Ermoupolis. From there you can explore easily the city, all the shops are around. The Aegli is a small, family run place, so don't expect luxury. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but the view.... wow. Be sure to ask for a room on the upper floor...

Very nice apartment very well located in Ano Syros. The only downside could be the access to the terrace for some people. The steps are high and the access door is not very high or wide. Very nice small hotel with elegant decorations. Clean with very nice views. Next to the city center and the port, perfect for visiting the city. The only problem is that the road in front of it is always very noisy day and night, at least during July and August.

Very sweet staff, the rooms were not spectacular but better than the price suggested. The amenities were all included and whatever extra was requested was provided even when they didn't have to. The location is perfect, near the port between the residential area and the tourist shops, not busy or loud but only a stone's throw away from the action.

This hotel is conveniently located in down town Syros main port next to lots of shops and tavernas. It is very clean, they offer a good breakfast and they have a very nice court yard for chilling and having your breakfast. Teas only priced and friendly service

A 5-Star 2-Star hotel! Family run and smack in the center of town but away from the noise at the same time. A short stroll from the many restaurants, tavernas, and shops that make Ermopoli one of my favorite authentic Greek towns.
