Great views and George is very helpful and had many suggestions! It's a great location (& price) on this gorgeous island!

The view as well as the lodge itself were both worth our time.
Welcoming staff, with a very laid back attitude, and available at any time of day (within logical boundaries of course).

Bare in mind that the lodge is located (as most of the houses on the island) on a hill, which means you'd either have to walk up ~70 steps to get there or take a taxi through alleys.

However, our room, had a minor ants' problem, where they'd just pop up around the windows 24/7. Not too frustrated about it, since they're harmless.

I definitely suggest you take an extra soap with you from there, it's olive oil based, smells fantastic and gives a nice feel to the skin.

This hotel surpassed our expectations!!!!! It was even better in reality!!! We stayed 5 nights and it was "a dream holiday". George, the owner, offered us local delicacies and wine, helped us with great suggestions on local restaurants and bistros. We had the best sleep in ages, great beds and mattresses, the room was perfectly cleaned daily, spacious, cozy decor, but what was unbeatable was the magnificent view of all the city's great places and the sea view!!! We had lovely evenings with a glass of wine in our balcony. The ground floor terrace was a great, lovely big yard and we had an excellent breakfast. It was great value for money and it is fully recommended. We loved Syros and we will come again, enjoying this great place. Ethrion has become our favorite memory of this spring holiday.
