Where to stay in Kissamos

Had a great stay at the Regina Hotel. The staff Sofia, Murad and Harry were absolutely amazing. So kind, friendly and helpful all week. They were so accommodating with our toddler. The room was ok with a fantastic view. The pool and clean and the gardens were nice. The location is perfect with access to a beach directly to a beach about 800m. Kissamos is only 10mins away by car for access to shops...

All things were PERFECT! The staff, the view, the surroundings, the beach...bottom line - ALL of that were just perfect! Greek people are wonderful; despite their personal problems, they are smiling and kind, that's why you can't not to love them! The pool was just great! Deep enough to swim safe (for people who knows to swim...), very clean and well maintained. The rooms are large enough. In short...

Decent hotel, nice and kind personnel, helpful and nonstop smiling. Nice pool, but not so much clean. Rooms were smaller but clean. Time to reach Balos from here is approx. 50min. Hotel located on calm place, but easily accesible to close village(by car in 5min)

Beautiful room, view to the sea, and huge space. We spent one night, it was amazing, the only problem that the airco didn't work and it was very hot. The hotel's beach is big enough, and not crowded.

Nice hotel. Breakfast is good. Rooms are clean and comfy. Odd that there is a 3euro charge a day to use the room safe.

I could not fault the attentive, friendly staff within the hotel and the beach bar. Superb location, close to the great restaurants along Molos Bay. A good variety of dishes at breakfast and nice food at the bar during the day. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I have slept on but the room size and aircon were great. Hope to return!

Amazing staff - helped us with everything we asked for. Spacious clean rooms, huge balcony overlooking the sea. Very good variety at breakfast. Great location - walking distance to downtown and yet far away from crowds. Very nice swimming pool, quiet little beach right in front of the hotel - perfect for families with little kids. Will definitely come again.

Fantastic staff, super helpful and kind, the hotel is nice and small, only 2 stories. The rooms are nice, not super but in line with a 4 star. Breakfast is very good both in quality and variety. Also nice swimming pool. The position is 3 min walk from some nice Kissamos beaches, but it's at the far end of Kissamos, around 1km from the center. All in all very happy

Here I spend the best Holliday. The staff is just amazing!! Breakfast variety is good. The beach is one of the best in Crete. Just beautiful sand. I really recommend!! Great if you have kids. There are small waves in the water and most of the water is small.

The hotel is fantastic. The staff is very friendly. The rooms and facility very clean and tidy. Because it is not a very big hotel, it is very quiet and you can relax very well. Furthermore, the hotel is very remote, this contributes to the peace. It takes about 8 min to walk the 800 meters to the city center.

Leaving tomorrow after our short stay and will most definitely return here again soon , Excellent location , very clean with delicious breakfast , outstanding beach view and pool, But most importantly the staff are so helpful and friendly, 10 out 10 for I can find no faults , I would highly recommend the Cretan daily cruise as it was a reasonable price and a fantastic day out

In a few words, Sunny Bay is the best hotel with the perfect sea view as you see in the movies, the food is exceptional and great variaty, the staff is well prepared and will take care of you, all in all I had the best experience in Crete thanks to Sunny Bay Hotel.

Elena Beach Hotel for me and my wife ,having a summer holiday vacation, was the perfect hotel to stay! It was our first time in Crete. It’s pleasant, has good staff, hospitable, very clean hotel (reception, rooms, amenities, beach, etc.) and is close to harbor (for day tours for example). Definitely will return to them in another summer when missing Crete.

Cute little hotel on the west coast of Crete We are a young couple (23 years) and felt very young there because of all the older guests 🤣 But the staff is nice and friendly, always checking on us if everything is fine Food is good - classical Greek The way down to the sea is short :)

I haven't been staying at the hotel, so my review is for the seaside service for sunbeds and umbrellas. The service is great, polite staff, always smiling and in good mood! The part of the beach in front of Elena beach is a bit calmer comparing to the rest of the coast, even on bit windy days. Bonus: no charge for the umbrella, you pay only for the drinks and food.

We stayed for a week by end of August. Everyone were really nice and welcome , breakfast and dinner were great.

Kissamos is a quite and perfect place to stay far of the noise of La Chania. And Crystal Bay is a comfortable hotel, don't expect a super hotel. People kind, practical rooms with all you need and good placed close to the beach and restaurants corner.

If you're into visitng the best beaches on crete and chill after some sightseeing this is the perfect spot to do so. My only concern was the internet speed, if you're looking for a place to work this may not be the best hotel. Specially in the mornings and evenings where people are overloading the net. Although there was some Ethernet slots in the walls so maybe that will do the work.

Very friendly owners, great local beach, very close to the port which makes traveling to Balos very convenient.

The rooms are very spacious, very clean and so quiet. It's the perfect place to relax. The beach is right on the doorstep and perfect on the days you don't feel like driving a long way. All the staff are so kind and welcoming, you feel at home. 10/10 Ευχαριστούμε πάρα πολύ ❤

This hotel was the best one for us in Crete. The staff was very friendly and the most helpful I have ever seen. They had a great selection of food, which were great for vegetarians, too. We could stay here anytime. The hotel is further out from Kissamos or Kaliviani, so it is handy to have car for shopping.

Quite a few years ago now ( 6 or 7) but I stayed here for three nights when I was on the island and absolutely loved it. The room was beautiful and spacious The owners were super nice and accommodating. The beach is fantastic and I met some great people there as well. Highly recommend this place.

Perfect location, small, quiet and comfortable, and with beautiful sorroundings. Great service, nice pool area. The only downside to this stay was the bed - not comfortable, such a shame. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much!

Really enjoyed the stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, even moreso than is standard in Greece. Apartments are very clean and the little extra touches - like when they put water in the freezer for us to have ice cubes - make the difference. Great value. Good breakfast. Room was basic but comfortable. Shower toilet etc all very clean. Large lobby outdoor area dining area and pool so didn’t spend time in the room other than to sleep and shower. We stayed one night before our visit to Balos. We got more than we expected, good sleep, free parking, the friendliest staff ever with lots of suggestions that helped our trip, more than just an overnight stay!

I stayed in this hotel in december and in may. Manolis is an interesting, funny and very professional and kind owner. It's a family hotel with nice rooms and balcony, a swimming pool and a nice bar and tables aside of it. I recommend this 5 star place for a stop in Kissamos, a good place to stay if you want to reach Balos Lagoon or make the 2 nice roads to the south, where youll find Elafonissi Beach...

Beautiful little hotel! Very warm and friendly welcome!!!! Layed back, relaxing atmosphere and super help from the receptionist for any information that is needed. We only stayed 1night as we were passing through, but it will definitely be a place to go and stay when we're back in the area!

The rooms are very decent. Everything is really clean. The yard is wonderful. The only negatives are the loud street, the oldish (but clean) furniture and blankets. Overall it is nice with very good value for the price.

Place has a good pool, appartment where we stayed was big ( two rooms with full-sized beds and kitchen) though the furniture and interior requires modernization

Our hotel gave us one of the best welcomes ever. Was the perfect beginning to start our day in Kissamos. Finished the night with a local band right outside the hotel. We had great food at locations down on the beach. Very relaxing and great energy in this town

The absolute best service I've had in my whole life (including 5 star hotels). The girls (Niki and Katerina) managing/running this hotel are perfect, they responded to all of our needs and more. We chose to stay here, in order to be closer to Balos (1 hour by boat) and Elafonisi (1 hour by car). Don't get fooled or scared by the fact this is a 2 star hotel, the rooms are clean, the bathroom smells...

We had a lovely time, Stavroula and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, had a spacious balcony , my only criticism was the air con leaked so bathroom would get wet . But there for just a short stay so not a huge problem for us. Would certainly recommend it a lovely place to stay.

The hotel is itself nice and cozy. It’s new minimally decorated and very clean. However, in my point of view only one room in this hotel worth staying and the rest especially the ones on ground floor are missing daylight as they don’t have proper window and view. We stayed for 3 nights at Casa D'Irene but wished it would have been many more days! We felt very welcomed from the moment we stepped into the hotel until the very last second! We went there in October. Book it on the day. Cheap and nice. We had only breakfast included but there is few restaurants around the area not bad prices. Rooms have a small kitchen and a balcony, comfy beds. The beach is 2 seconds from the hotel. Great service, very nice staff. Would recommend it !

They bend over backwards to make your stay fantastic. The rooms are good and have cooking facilities. The cleaning service is prompt and thorough. The beach and bar are just what you want. Near enough to walk anywhere.

The service here is excellent. Our ferry arrived at 1am and the hotel waited for us to get there. The rooms are clean and comfortable and breakfast was nice.

For a 3* star is a very good hotel. The room is big with a small kitchenette enough to accommodate 3 people. Also the balcony and bathroom are big. Cleaning is made every day with new towels.Breakfast is not so great having the same food everyday but this is it for 3* hotel. Big plus for basketball and tennis playground just across the street

New hotel in Kissamos, actually just outside the town. Located just by the beach. Staff (thanks a lot Isabella) very nice and helpful. Breakfast was OK and there are nice bed by the beach. We did not try lunch or dinner so I can't say much about that. But cleaning was efficient, staff was very nice and helpful and wifi worked all the time. Would be extra nice with a gym!
