My only concern was the internet speed, if you're looking for a place to work this may not be the best hotel. Specially in the mornings and evenings where people are overloading the net

If you're into visitng the best beaches on crete and chill after some sightseeing this is the perfect spot to do so

We had a lovely time, Stavroula and the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, had a spacious balcony , my only criticism was the air con leaked so bathroom would get wet

We got a room with a wonderful terrace. Mandi and her sisters are really nice. Close to the promenade of Kissamos (even though Kissamos is a disappointing village)

It was perfect. The staff is very kind. The rooms were clean, large and safe and there were excellent facilities. The location was perfect and the health center was next door. I will visit again soon

The location is very central and supermarkets and restaurants nearby was a nice experience

The atmosphere in this place is amazing! The apartment was new and clean, the host Mariana was very nice and always available to help and the position was perfect to reach the sea or kissamos city center

Incredibly warm, hospitable hosts who truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable! The studio was so clean and had everything I could possibly need including a kitchen, laundry and smart TV, and everything was beautifully decorated inside and out

Tasos is so hospitable and thoughtful and his good humor will make you enjoy your staying ever more! Starting with the excellent communication, to arriving and his showing us the wonderful apartment it could have not been smoother

What a place! Wonderful host, friendly and very helpful. The apartment is great, as it has a beautiful view and the location in near to the beaches all of you are going to visit, but also near to shops and bakeries

The Christina Beach hotel has its own entrance and reception accessed by a door facing the beach. You can walk into the Christina Hotel and through the ground to the Beach hotel

Lovely hotel by the beach. Very helpful, friendly staff. Manolis answered all our questions and got us a wonderful cab and driver to Heraklion airport. Tasty breakfast.

The amenities of this hotel are amazing! The beach is not so welcoming and that's a pity but the pool is very nice. We had our room upgraded from a garden view to a pool view. The Half board service is wonderful

As I have a health condition I was looking for a good quality hotel in a quiet setting with easy access to good quality meals, I found this in the Avra Imperial hotel

My room was in the Residence Collection (Adults only) which was lovely and quiet with a stunning large pool, plenty of decent seating and restaurant/bar

I tend to drink mainly sparkling wine on holiday and after my initial surprise I actually really enjoyed it served over ice with a strawberry especially in the pool! Wine choices were good, local Greek wine when ordered from the bar you were given a small bottle so we were able to take these to our room and keep in the fridge to drink on the balcony

All the staff were hard working, efficient, friendly and kind, special thanks to Andreas, Costas and Zoe for making our holiday such a success, we can highly recommend this hotel for providing a relaxing, authentic and fun experience

Excellent 10 nights holiday, fabulous hotel , great views , rooms a little dated , air con not great , food superb, entertainment a little light , needed more entertainment in the evening, the staff absolutely outstanding, would definitely recommend but take up the all inclusive plus

Plenty of choice of food and drinks and delicious food, my mum is celiac and they adapted well for various choices of food available for her to enjoy as well. A lovely champagne breakfast as well was included on a Sunday

We liked the fact that they would offer clean towels in the evening and also fresh beach towels were left. and we were delighted that the hotel offered plenty of authentic Greek food at all meals (not always the case)

There was a mini fridge, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. We had a first floor room so no access to a private pool or our own sunbeds but his really was not a problem as we love to sit on the beach

The perfect place to relax and enjoy Crete. The family managing the place is very friendly, welcoming and full of love. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. I enjoyed everything in that place

Close by is a market you can buy your own food for cooking or restaurants to order some. Bus station to take you to the city or other lovely markets on the same street is like 3-5 min away from the hotel

Such an awesome familiar hotel. The rooms are clean and the pool is awesome. We felt home and got some awesome recommendations and support. i would recommend everybody to come here and enjoy vacation

I stayed there for 5 days with group of my friends. Rooms were clear and the equipment was everything we needed. Swimming pool and cocktails in bar were amazing too. Owners and staffs were very pleasant and nice to guest

And the way he conducted this with his own people was very simply embarrassing to look at. I would not want to work for him myself but maybe Greece is a little outdated when it comes to people management, I don't know

All the five stars are dedicated to the staff! Reception, restaurant staff and cleaning were all so great. They were all very kind and interactive with my little 1-year old daughter Luna, so we appreciated this a lot

I'm sure the management would want to have 'fitness' checked out amongst the facilities but to call those facilities a gym would be a strong overstatement. They have six 5-kg weights and two machines out of order

I would guess the last management book he read was from the 1980's because the level of micro management was way over the top. I know something about how to manage people and how not to

Well located, not the most modern place but, has exactly what is needed and working AC.

We spent 11 nights with a family of 7 at the Albatros, a family run, medium sized hotel in the center of Maleme, only a short walk to the beach front

Keep in mind that the hotel is next to the main road, so naturally the (cheaper) rooms facing north (towards the road or "mountain view") are more noisy and sitting on the balcony is less pleasing

The terrace restaurant is open all day, they serve snacks but also fresh traditional Greek dishes and meat from the grill. Food is okay, on par with most tourist oriented restaurants in Maleme

The hotel and the rooms are a bit dated, but well maintained and reasonably priced. The sea view/pool view room was quiet and had a very nice view from the balcony, especially in the evenings

The family and staff is very friendly and always helpful, they let us keep one of our rooms on checkout day free of charge so we could leave our luggage there and use the pool all day

I would recommend the Albatros as a base for exploring the island and the beaches, for hanging out at the pool in the afternoons/evenings and the occasional snack in the restaurant

Especially, I would like thank mr Lefteris (head chef), mr Christos (sous chef), Christine (receptionist) and Ioannis (barman) for their extremely warm customer service, helpfulness and professionalism provided during our stay

Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service for that booking price rate. Definitely we're recommending and aim next season trip to the Castro Beach Hotel

We had the best time here on a working holiday, for 2 weeks. It’s 5 min walk from the beach and Platanias and Chania are easy to get to with a frequent bus. Chilling by the pool was our favourite pastime when not working

The owners were extra nice and made our visit to Crete so good. The Hotel is so clean and serve a wonderful breakfast and other meals. We would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Crete

The food and the cocktails at the restaurant and pool bar were amazing and the staff George and Nick are incredible hosts with great chat. Futura felt like a home for us and the guys like family

Stayed here 08/21 A modern clean hotel. Bar food excellent and breakfast is continental all good quality but being British I did miss the eggs and bacon. Large one bed apartment with sea view very clean

We would like to give a massive shout out to Aris who made an effort with us each day, what a lovely guy and we feel as though we’ve left with a friend. 3 nights a week there’s entertainment on at the bar

Plenty of sun lounges which are really comfy, beach towels are also provided. The hotel is beautifully presented and clean, with cleaners and maintenance workers working all day taking pride in the areas

Sasha is always working hard and there’s a big selection of cocktails in the evening. By the end of the night everyone is up dancing and laughing. The food is perfectly presented and huge selection

Spaces in the car park appear to have been marked at different times, as some of the spaces block other cars in, which I'd witnessed, and on 1 of the nights I watched 2 cars drop people off and then leave because there weren't any spaces left

But at the beach front there are plenty of spaces, and that is a very short walk away from the back entrance of the hotel. It was very close to a shingle beach and a stretch of hotels and shops, and the tourist train

Fridge also had a freezer shelf. There was a dining table and chairs, a dressing table, a sofa bed to sleep 1 person, a double bed and on the balcony there was a small table and chairs. Balcony was of a decent size

Excellent place - good value for money. We had a great balcony overclooking the swimming pool, the apartament was comfortable and cosy. The swimming pool was perfect - clean, warm and deep (2.7m) We love it!

There were 3 bins in the room, which made it a lot easier to keep the room tidy. The bins were taken out everyday and beds were also made everyday. The kitchenette has most utensils and cooking equipment

Costa and Olga are lovely. Friendly and accommodating. I was looking for a quiet area with a pool and that's what I got. Close to the beach and shops with a few touristy things to see. What more could you ask for

Walking distance to some shops and restaurants

Some hotels etc had set up direction signs, but we didn't spot one for GT Beach. We might even have driven straight past if I hadn't see a pool & buildings which looked just like the website's picture

The only problem we had with the hotel for the first night of our recent trip to Crete was finding it on one of the three roads in Maleme running parallel to the shore

Two couples sharing the great Tikita apartment quite comfortably we enjoyed everything the nice friendly and accommodating host offered. Just don't tell them we sneaked a very tasty pomegranate from the tree

Amazing location on the top of the hill. Literally it was an advanture to reach the place. The food varitey and taste is Excellent in its naturality. Very friendly sevice:)) Strongly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at the Minoa Palace for a portion of our honeymoon with the half board package and we greatly enjoyed the experience. Their location was great and transportation to Chania was easily accessible

The half board includes breakfast and dinner in which the food was excellent. We choose this option so that we could venture out during the day and explore other places for lunch

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty. The staff care all day, very friendly. For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day

Overall a nice hotel. Breakfast is not included, which would be nice. Rooms are a little worn, but with nice facilities. Nice location next to the beach and a couple of stores and restaurants.

The rooms were also nice, with small kitchens equipped with everything you need for making food. The location was perfectly placed next to a shopping and dining street with all conceivable options available close by

Unbelievable beautiful place!! Short walk to a beautiful beach, pool for small children, and 2 other pools. Bar at the pool, good food, great breakfast with what ever you want, yogurt, milk bread cornflakes

There's A/C in all major parts of the room, as well as balconies. Every day there's maids coming to clean the room and fix the beds. You have to do the plates and glasses yourself though

Suprisingly amazing! I went here with low expectations but I was wowed. The room: 10/10 big, spacey, bathtub, air conditioner, kitchenette, terrace, comfy beds. Interior decoration really shines Cretan culture

The beach: 9/10 it’s a beachfront hotel 🏨 It’s a Sandy beach and the ocean is clean, no plastics. Also nice to not have to worry about rocks. Location: 9/10 restaurants and stores galore on the Main Street

The rooms is equipped with an ac to ensure you remain cool during the summer period. The staff for me is what makes this hotel the best place to stay. They helped us with our trip to Samaria Gorge
