We had a very nice stay here. Clean, cosy and well equipped. Even during a crazy heatwave (40 degrees) no problem since all rooms have air conditioning. Upon request they provided 2 babybeds, which was great.

Really cool spot! The whole town is built into a steep hillside. To Stefani Tis Makrinas is beautiful with the traditional design of the village. The staff is very kind and helpful. You can walk right into the little town from the villas through a quaint winding pathway down the hillside. Views of Volos are extraordinary

Affordable luxury in a traditional style home with every comfort someone can imagine, three different ways of heat including a fireplace. Manager mr Kostas and Ms Alexia are excellent people. The first place on the accomodation list for Makrinitsa.

The room we stayed was a two bedroom split level apartment , was newly rennovated, had a fireplace and fulky equiped kitchen. Would prefer to have some more space in the livingroom so that we will be able to sit together. The matress was cocomat , top quality. Not so easy access during the winter in case of snow

Beautiful apartments with amazing view. Has almost everything, but not very accessible for people with difficulty climbing lots of stairs. You can choose either the romantic apartments or the more family ones.

We had great moments in this unique place. The breathtaking panoramic view was terrific! Room had many features inside like the soundproofed windows, a/c, minibar, refrigerator, TV and the room service was great! Breakfast was rich with many options on the morning buffet. Strongly recommended.

Amazing hotel with many facilities and amenities such like free parking and free, fast WIFI. The staff was polite, friendly and very informative. Receptionist was also nice and genteel. Room was huge and very clean. At the snack bar, served excellent and delicious special diet menu. Reasonable rates for season, so I would love to recommend it to everyone.

We went together for a few days and had a great time, as this special spot offers peace and relaxation in a unique space like the Karamanli Mansions. We had our 2 children together. Comfortable bed, good location, very friendly staff!

The room was small and very pink but the bed was comfortable and the thick walls made it very quiet. it's owned and run by two brothers both of whom are hospitable and friendly. The breakfast was generous. We thought it very good value. The village of Makrinitsa itself was gorgeous. In spite of the flood damage it is still accessible by car and bus and there's plenty to do. We found two wonderful restaurants...

Excellent Hotel. Very wellcoming hosts. All is clean and tide. Wonderfull view. We have come 2times allready and will come back for sure. One of the most beautifull places i have ever seen.

We had a small adventure with a double booking of our room but in the end our host resolved the issue and we stayed for two nights. Rooms are nice but not that clean (for example one drawer was full of hair inside). Walls are very thin and you can hear EVERYTHING happening in the other rooms. The fan in the bathroom as well is a bit too loud. Location is great, near the village's center square.

I fall in love with the view from the very first sight. One of the best locations in the area, equally close to both Portaria and Makrinitsa villages. Tasty breakfast with the variety of choices. A great hotel with an outstanding location between Portagia and Makrinitsa. We were impressed by the warm family and their team. The hotel is recommended for families, as there is a very large and cozy lobby, as well as a great "playroom". So you can also relax there without always having to be in your room or on the move.

The staff was very welcoming and nice. Everyone was sweet and kind. I went there on a school trip and we had so much fun! The rooms were beautiful,spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable,the water was super clean and the balconies were nice with great view. A beautiful old manor house in the traditional style of Pelion (Pilio). The hotel is animal friendly which was a great surprise. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean, and the breakfast available has a good variety (their traditional pie is amazing).

The Erofili hotel provided us an exceptional hospitality as well as a super handmade breakfast, same is located in the center of Portaria village with all the hotspots in walking distance. The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. The room is comfortable enough and cozy.

Simply outstanding. We stayed in a suite that was fully renovated(we were one of the first to sleep there after the renovation) with modern but also a bit of traditional style. Hotel Filoxenia is a small hotel hidden in between some others in Portaria. The owners take pride in their quiet and welcoming establishment and provide you everything you need. The location is wonderful, and sitting in between the large trees on a sunny day makes you realize that you might have stumbled upon one of the most beautiful places in all of Greece.

Very polite owners, especially Chryssa, nice breakfast with a lot of homemade sweets and pies and very warm and extremely clean rooms. The only negative is that the room we stayed was very narrow and the suitcase had to go under the bed. The price was good because it is located exactly in the center of Portaria.

Even if we did not stay here due to some problems with the reservation, the host found another hotel for us nearby and also gave us free breakfast.

Traditional guest house next to the main square of Portaria with friendly and polite staff. We enjoyed a sweet dessert of the spoon and hot cups of tea in the common living room with fireplace. The breakfast offers handmade delicacies with a variety of pies, jams, etc. The only drawback is the old mattresses.

The hotel was ok although the bathroom in our room is in need of serious renovation. In our room there was no kettle and cups like the room next door. When we asked about it they said its because the other room was at a different category! The pool should have been heated due to low temperatures. The breakfast was good.

The hotel’s design is old fashioned. We ordered a room with a mountain and pool views, there aren’t rooms that offers both. The hotel’s overview didn’t mention that the pool is closed. The gym is poor, not a lot of equipment and no air conditioning. The breakfast is nice and tasty.

The hotel is good and our stay was pleasant. For the price of it though, I would definitely expect a better breakfast. The road to get to the hotel is a tiny/tight street with big stones that is unsafe. We parked the car and didn't want to move it again because it was scary. They really need to put a traffic light or offer help from the hotel.

We spent 2 nights at the Pelion Resort and it was very good. The rooms are big, with a good bathroom and good bed. They have a very good pool (I enjoyed all day!) and their service is very friendly and kind. Everything we needed, they were ready to provide. Also very good breakfast. We would return for sure!
