The hotel was ok although the bathroom in our room is in need of serious renovation. In our room there was no kettle and cups like the room next door. When we asked about it they said its because the other room was at a different category! The pool should have been heated due to low temperatures. The breakfast was good.

Excellent service from the staff, wonderful views of the mountains and town below, great morning breakfast. The only thing that lowered the rating was the beds were extremely hard and the air conditioner didn’t keep the rooms cool. Although, these are common findings in Greece.
Would stay there again.

We in December as a couple really enjoyed the area, view and hotel. I knew it was an older built hotel but therefore knew it would have more spacious rooms and higher ceilings and parking. It was better than we expected with helpful staff.Breakfast and restaurant ver good nearby with good vibe and food. Can walk to village center also. As there is lots of traffic in the mountains at this time its good to plan to get going before 10am to any destination. The spa was an added enjoyment so I believe after researching price vs amenities I give it top marks!

Very good looking room, very clean, great staff, and a very cozy Christmas environment; what else could you ask for around December? The lobby is a place to have a seat and enjoy a book or in case you have to work, take your laptop/tablet and be productive. They also have a great breakfast!

The hotel’s design is old fashioned.
We ordered a room with a mountain and pool views, there aren’t rooms that offers both.
The hotel’s overview didn’t mention that the pool is closed.
The gym is poor, not a lot of equipment and no air conditioning.
The breakfast is nice and tasty.

Unfortunately we had an ant problem in our room that wasn't solved during our entire stay. Neither were we offered any compensation. The AC worked just but not great :( The gym and pool hours are not very convinient. The shower was awsome :) and so the food by the pool and room service. The room was a corner room with a huge balcony which was great

Great place to relax and visit Pelion and Volos.
Fantastic restaurants in walking distance in Portaria.
Nice pool and good breakfast buffet.

Absolutely perfect for a romantic mountain getaway! The views from the rooms (if you book a ‘sea view’) are spectacular.
The location is idyllic - only a very short walk to a charming town with lots of tavernas, but in a quiet space with no traffic noise.
The spa is decent enough, we had massages and while they were expensive for Greek standards (€60-70 for an hour) they were nice. The breakfast is also really good with lots of options including hot mushrooms, tomatoes and eggs.
