Where to stay in Mastichari

The Hotel is Amazing. They clean up your room, the food is fantastic, the beds are comfortable and everything looks great. I'd really recommend going there.

The breakfast was amazing! The pools and the beach (wavy) are wonderful as well we lived in 2 different rooms but those did not look like in the pictures. If you want to go around you need to have a car or motorbike there is nothing around really. .

Loved it! Not too big, not overcrowded. Two times Beachvolleyball per day. Great selection at breakfast and lunch. I especially loved the local coffee prep with hot sand! Best vacation so far!

The hotel was great value for money. We stayed in one of the windmills. Lots of food and drink available on 'all inclusive'. However, you have to pay 3 euro per bed for loungers on the beach which feels ridiculous when you've already paid for your stay! You also have to pay extra if you want to use the games room.

I did not spend the night at the hotel. But! My girlfriend and I missed the last bus to Kos while in Mastichari. We decided to walk along the road until dark in order to reduce the cost of a taxi. We were lucky, on the way we were picked up by a manager from the horizon beach resort, gave a lift and helped to order a taxi from the hotel. Gaia Royal is probably one of the best resorts we've stayed. Rooms cleaned daily so very clean. Mini zoo for kids and also mini golf, several kids play, tennis, football, basketball court, 3 very good pools with bars. All right...so about the Gaia Royal... To far away from the sea, the swimming pool are not very clean, so I think they don't filter the water. In the beginning of the resort (the kids swimming pool) there is a very bad smell( I don't know how people stay there). We loved our stay at the resort, but let me first mention what we didn't like. The cappuccino costs 4.5 euros. The kids' program is in German. Why? I don't get it. I'm not German. Very nice hotel, people working there were very nice and friendly. There were not many attractions nearby, but there was not really any need for them, because every night there was some event happening at the hotel at one bar. If you didn't want to participate you could go to the second bar near the beach which was really quite and nice to talk.

The hotel itself is very nice, it has an excellent fresh water swimming pool with a bar that looks toward the sunset and is immaculate. We had a delicious meal by the pool watching the sunset. What a gem of a place...I have been visiting Kos for years and especially Mastichari. Such a lovely chilled little harbour resort. The Luis apartments are far and above one of the nicest places I have stayed with the added bonus of a swimming pool. Sebreeze Villa was a beautiful, outstanding property, very well maintained, clean and comfortable. The pool was just amazing, located in a very quiet and pleasant location. Awesome villa with a great view of the ocean! The house is very well-equipped and the pool and especially the whirlpool on the rooftop are amazing! The hosts living nearby are very lovely and help you with everything you need. Would recommend this place to everyone! We will come back! :-)
