I’ve been coming to Greece almost every year for the last 43 years. I have a few favorite hotels on a few of my favorite islands. ALKYON HOTEL is truly on the top of my list.
The location overlooking beautiful Mykonos town is absolutely stunning. It may be the best place to see the dramatic sunset. The rooms are all extremely comfortable and impeccably clean. The wonderful breakfast buffet, with changing homemade Greek specialties each morning, is a great way to start off the day. All this would not be possible without the extraordinarily kind and generous owner, Sophia. Thank you for all years of joy. I’ll see you again next year!❤️

The hotel is not in the center, but it is 10 minutes by foot. If you get used to it, it is totally fine. The hotel's pool is truly charming, so you can spend the whole afternoon in the pool. Especially the sunset view—I think it is the best view!! also breakfast was good :)

One of the best views from a hotel we’ve ever stayed. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bed massive and comfy. Downside pool was freezing and the fridge was the opposite, so had to buy a few bags of ice for drinks. Beautiful place

Great place,Great views,delicious breakfast so many choices, Great staff they are Extremely helpfull Sophia was awesome Very accommodating in giving directions getting paperwork done, We walked from the hotel not to far to the center of town saw all the shops and restaurants. Very beautiful area.

Amazing hotel. Great location. Can walk down to little Venice and old port from the hotel. A hill to get back up but worth it. The view of the sunset was spectacular. Free shuttle for pick up to the hotel was a bonus. Great hot breakfast in the morning. The receptionist was amazing. I would highly recommend!!!

This place has everything. The views are insane. The pool and restaurant are perfectly situated with the most stunning views. The front desk staff are so caring and professional. My daughter got hurt there and they went out of there was to care for her. They also arranged for us to rent a car. They made our stay so easy and comfortable.

The hotel itself is stunning. The views from our room were some of the most beautiful views I've ever seen in my life. The place is air conditioned, modern but with a great Mykonos vibe, it's easy to get to town. Overall huge thumbs up for this place. I would absolutely recommend it and stay here again.

The room is on the mountain in the town. It takes 15 minutes to walk after getting off the boat. You have to go through stairs and gravel roads. It is suitable for walking with a backpack. If you have luggage, it is recommended to use a car.
