Hotels in center in Naxos Chora

After researching hotels in the area we decided on this one based on reviews, location, and pictures! This hotel sits right on the beach, has a great sunset view, and is relatively cheap for what they offer! We got upgraded for free upon our arrival! We arrived at the port and had a very easy 10 minute walk to the hotel

This hotel has a pool, free breakfast, and easy access to a nice beach area! The rooms are beautiful and the staff is so nice and helpful! We enjoyed our stay so much that we’d go right back to this hotel if we ever visited the area again!

It is right near the beach and you can serve breakfast (included) outside, with the feet on the sand. Very clean rooms, the service is excellent. We found treats every day in our room when we got back from the sea

Great location right next to the beach, can sit and watch ocean during breakfast and dinner. Staff is very friendly and speak English well (and taught us some Greek phrases too)

Or you can walk about 5 minutes into the port area with many more choices. The pool area was quite nice and the staff will ensure you are well taken care of wherever you are

Their breakfast buffet was one of the best we had while visiting Greece. There was a wide selection of choices (more than most) and all the food felt home cooked with love

The view from our room was picturesque and relaxing. The breakfasts were splendid, catering well even to vegetarian guests like myself. There was a great variety of options, including Greek sweets and fresh fruits

While not directly on the beach, the hotel was conveniently located just a 4-minute walk from Agios Georgios beach. The surrounding area featured several local shops, including supermarkets and restaurants

All the hotel staff were very helpful and extremely polite. I have to give a special mention to Maria on Reception, she was so helpful and lovely to talk to and is a exceptional credit to the Galaxy Hotel

What an absolute fantastic hotel, room was excellent and very clean, hotel was very clean. The breakfast was delicious and I loved the coffee machine which provided really nice tasting coffee

This hotel provided a delightful experience. The property is beautiful, with comfortable rooms. We were fortunate to have a room facing the pool, offering a lovely spot to watch the sunset

It was our first visit to Naxos and we will definitely return. When we return we will book a room at The Galaxy, this hotel was a great find and we are so pleased to have stayed there

Wonderful friendly staff. Great included breakfast. Very nice room. Clean and very modern. We had jacuzzi in room. The water was cool but still fun. Very close to beautiful beach and port.

Loved this hotel, the staff were great (take time to speak to them and you will see) and the breakfast was excellent

Our room was superb with a great double bed, balcony, ensuite shower room and small kitchen sink in the room (116)

It's an ok place. A shame, it has many of the ingredients to make it great but finishing touches are not there. Poor soundproofing materials, poor breakfast, etc. Staff is nice however.

It was ok I guess.. The jacuzzis on the rooms were perfect. It didn't actually felt like a 4star hotel tho. :/ I think it was a bit overpriced for what we actually got.

Good location - quiet hotel filled neighbourhood within 10min distance from centre of Naxos

There are limited cooking facilities but it is an easy walk to the centre of town and some fabulous, well priced restaurants

The room was semi-refurbished, but the choices of refurbishment investment were weel done - a new AC system and firm bed matress!!! After all those weeks in soft hotel matrasses

was really pleasant sleep! Hotel staff was really polite and helpful

It's just a one-minute walk to a gorgeous beach with a supermarket and many great restaurants nearby. Very affordable rates and friendly service make this an excellent choice!

George was a perfect host who met all our needs. The room is cleaned every day and the cleaners do a great job. The grounds are new and pretty and offer ample parking

We were in Naxos for our honeymoon, and the staff took great care of us! Amazing home-cooked breakfast every day, and the staff is so friendly! Ideal location with easy access to the main strip, and beautiful sunset views from the roof

The breakfast is a cornucopia of local dishes cooked on site. The room was small but had everything we needed. We stayed 3 night and loved every minute. I give this place a hearty two thumbs up

I have stayed in more luxurious hotels but never have I stayed in one with such friendly and helpful staff. And I mean genuinely friendly, not ‘professionally’ friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them

Hotel grotto is near the port and has beautiful views of the water. We were welcomed and given drinks and a snack on the house. They knew it was our anniversary and even gave us a bottle of wine and note

Such a great place to land on Noxos! The service is authentic, warm, and super helpful. The breakfast is the most delicious, homemade, and fresh I’ve ever experienced in a hotel

If this place could get more stars, it would be 10 stars, the location, the breakfast, the rooms, the staff, all are not just great, they are superb

It is great to find a hotel in the heart of the city that also has a pool. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the beach (with kids) and the beach is very calm and shallow, great for swimming

The hotel has a great breakfast with something for everyone. The rooms are good size and the AC worked well. There are tons of restaurants within a few minutes walk

Its a lovely clean hotel rooms are clean and very nice nickel is lovely he will do anything he can for you it's no trouble

Lovely hotel, nice staff. Nice selection at breakfast. You have an outside and inside space to eat your breakfast.

If you are brave there is parking available, just know the streets are very tight!

Music from outside can be heard in the room until maybe 1am. Didn't stop me falling asleep though. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Room: Modern decoration with rainfall showers. Standard amenities plus slippers

It has Spanish windows to stop the strong light in the morning (I noticed not all hotels have this). As mentioned music can be heard from the room at night so if you are a light sleeper, you may need ear plugs

Greatly impressed by the wonderful gentleman at the reception, who, greeting us with his gentle words and warm smile, made us feel extremely comfortable. Xenia is a place of ultimate Greek hospitality

We particularly liked the Waffle House right next to the hotel which made fresh waffles everyday and the ice cream was really good. Atmosphere: Very lively outside especially at night

The air tight windows ensure that external noise never disturbs you, if you choose to rest an extra bit. We never heard anything from the occupied rooms adjacent to us either

The breakfast is excellent with a variety of meats, cheeses, pastries, fruits, yogurt and toppings, coffee, etc. We ate outside near the pool for a relaxing start to our day. The rooms are small but efficient

The pool bar took too long to make our drinks but the peach passion was delicious! The beach is a very short walk with chairs but it was so crowded we came back to the pool to swim

We really enjoyed the swimming pool which was crystal clear. There's also a really well equipped gym. The whole staff is very polite and willing to help you with any question or problem you may have

Excellent choice! We actually stayed there for our honeymoon but never expected so high quality services. They upgraded our booking for free to a superior room, which had a large comfortable bed and was exquisitely clean

The selling point is the views and central location

In return for amazing views I got a rock hard mattress, tiny shower room with not much room to put anything, a shower hose that won't stay hanging up high for you to stand under, no room safe, a dated decor look, only one spare plug socket that I could find, no kettle, but you cannot fault the stunning views of the harbour and port day and night

When you out the 'DO NOT DISTURB' sign on your room door, housekeeping still proceed to knock and point out that they've 'seen' the sign but decided to ask if you need any housekeeping anyway!!!!!!! Very annoying

Had a wonderful time! Naxos is awesome... Great cocktails and beautiful island full of adventure. Delicious cherries. Hotel was value for money, clean and neat.

Worth the compromises of lack of fluffy towels and the other bits and pieces that people moan about not having. Give it a try and enjoy the views and location

It's, relatively quite high up in the old town with no vehicle access so you'll have to carry your own luggage up and down to the port, which might be an issue for anyone a bit frail or with limited mobility, but wasn't a problem for me

Breakfast with a view was prepared and served by Georgia (a very lovely personable lady) providing us with freshly squeezed orange juice upon our arrival. I would definitely stay here again and can’t wait to come back!

Amazing location, amazing people/ owners and service, views. The rooms are also very clean and the breakfast is PERFECT, handmade treats served on a balcony. Do not miss this place - one of the best in Greece!

Dimitrios and Giorgos were helpful with transfers, luggage and pointed out beaches to visit to avoid the wind. All the staff are long term, with great advice on places to eat and things to do

It is in the old town so may be difficult for some to climb up the winding alleys and stairs and the property has stairs all around. But if you can climb stairs, please don’t be put off

This place is a diamond in the heart of Naxos old town. Everything is perfect, the location is unbeatable, the rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean and the staff are wonderful

It may not have the best possible view of all the rooms, however it is centrally located in Chora of the island offering easy access to the beach and a variety of shops (taverns, cafes, supermarkets etc)

Impressive design and very beautiful rooms. The location is spot on! You can reach everything on foot, both the beach and the center of Chora. Great relief because you can’t park the car in the center

Regarding the cleanliness of the area, it is refreshed on a daily basis so that it remains clean most hours of the day. The staff were friendly and very helpful

Inside the rooms look so beautiful. I have never seen such beautiful suites! Highly recommend

Very happy and extremely surprised by this hotel. The location is not in the city center itself but still close enough to everything, which is perfect. Hotel is very clean, staff amazing and the breakfast outstanding

The room was clean, decorated nicely, had a balcony, and in a convenient location. The only thing is they didn’t change our towels or sheets during our 3 day stay but it’s a 2 star hotel

However, the hallways echoed so when people slammed their doors, you could hear it. The room was clean and had plenty of room for us to spread out our stuff and relax on the bed

There was a private balcony which was nice. But, wow, the bathroom was really nice. You could have a shower party in there? The staff was very nice and friendly

Very clean and cozy rooms with a nice terrace overlooking the St George beach from a distance. Plenty of closet space as well as a safe. Adequate lighting and plugs all over the room

Car rentals and banks in close vecinty. Neighborhood is quite and mainly other hotels and apartments. Rooms are of a good size and are clean. Definitely recommend place to stay

Homemade breakfast, cookies, cake, bread, orange juice, different kinds of coffee, nice view, no elevator, the room is ok, the shower is small (like all the showers in Europe's hotels) the lobby smells like smoke

It is not fancy but has all the essentials and great character, with stunning views and surroundings that could not be more typically Greek, made of cobbled narrow streets and white houses adorned by lush flowers

Marcos is a great host and made us feel right at home. The location is amazing and I could spend every evening watching the sunset from the roof

Simple accommodations overseen by a great host. Up the hill and lots of stairs though, so if your knees or hips aren't good might be difficult.
