Where to stay in Naxos Chora

I cannot say enough about the service we received at the hotel from the young women cleaning our rooms, the ladies at the front desk who could not be more gracious and helpful, to our favorite Harry, the bartender/lifeguard who was so wonderful and kind even to our kids. They truly made our stay exceptional.

Absolutely gorgeous location, in front of one of the island’s greatest beaches while the hotel includes a lovely bar & swimming pool, ideal for sunsets. Lovely place to stay in Naxos! The hotel is brand new so everything is in perfect shape. Very comfy bed, large balcony and a fantastic view. Breakfast is top, with a lot of vegan/healthy options. Margarita, Odysseas and Giorgio were super nice and always there to make our stay pleasant.

We have not stayed in the hotel, but we rented their sunbeds a couple of days during our holidays. The place is wonderful. Margarita, is really nice and makes you feel welcome. Recommend the fruit salad with yoghurt and their handmade granola as a healthy snack from the bar ;)

The new hotel in Plaka Naxos. Hospitable environment with special attention to detail a breath from the beautiful beach of Plaka. I highly recommend it for real holidays in front of the sea or the huge pool of the hotel if you prefer.

150 meters from the Beach, 15 minutes walk from downtown alongside the sea. Nice swimming pool. Good breakfast also. And, above all, a very nice and helpful staff. Loved this hotel, the staff were great (take time to speak to them and you will see) and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was superb with a great double bed, balcony, ensuite shower room and small kitchen sink in the room (116). We will definitely go back.

It's an ok place. A shame, it has many of the ingredients to make it great but finishing touches are not there. Poor soundproofing materials, poor breakfast, etc. Staff is nice however.

We had a very nice room with a beautiful terrace. I recommend this place for people who want to feel like at home. Stelios is the owner of the place and he made our stay even more memorable. The hotel is ideally situated on the beach and within walking distance to the Naxos city center. If I go back to Naxos I will definitely stay again at Alkyoni Hotel.

Excellent location. The room is very simple. The shower is horrible, small and the temperature changes all the time. The gym has old equipment and no maintenance. Very expensive for what it offers.

The staff are very pleasant, kind and welcoming. I stayed alone. I find the rooms small for 2 people. They serve open buffet breakfast with variety. Hotel is quiet and has a very nice small SPA. Location is good but people with small children, people with disabilities can not walk to the center from there. Although it is facing a beautiful view it is obstructed by the car park next to the hotel.

We had an amazing experience at Hotel Grotta. We were in Naxos for our honeymoon, and the staff took great care of us! Amazing home-cooked breakfast every day, and the staff is so friendly! Ideal location with easy access to the main strip, and beautiful sunset views from the roof. Agree with all the others that this is THE place to stay when visiting Naxos.

We are loving our stay here! The staff are very gracious, the entire hotel is kept immaculately clean, and the breakfast is bountiful and delicious! Just a quick step outside, and you can watch the sunset over the gorgeous Agean Sea. And a little walk down the hill and into the old town for all the restaurants, souvenir shops, ice cream stops, and the port for catching the ferry.

This was the perfect place to stay! The staff was incredible - welcoming, offering suggestions, helping to carry luggage. The rooms are very comfortable with great showers.
