I cannot say enough about the service we received at the hotel from the young women cleaning our rooms, the ladies at the front desk who could not be more gracious and helpful, to our favorite Harry, the bartender/lifeguard who was so wonderful and kind even to our kids. Get a taxi from the Port as the paths are difficult to wheel cases along takes 20 minutes to walk. That aside lovely hotel , lovely staff would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel close to the main bus terminal and walking distance to everything in Naxos Town. We took the bus to beaches in the day and walked to restaurants at night. The area around the hotel is very charming and we felt safe walking back at night. Can't beat the location and value. The front desk was very friendly (as are the cats) and helpful too. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely place with an authentic Naxos feel; heavy wooden furniture and excellent views to the sea from some rooms. Polis hotel was my best stay in Europe. The hotel is wonderful. Rooms are clean and spacious with excellent AC. Breakfast is good with lots of homemade food and the staff are all incredibly friendly!

Absolutely gorgeous location, in front of one of the island’s greatest beaches while the hotel includes a lovely bar & swimming pool, ideal for sunsets. Lovely place to stay in Naxos! The hotel is brand new so everything is in perfect shape. Very comfy bed, large balcony and a fantastic view. Breakfast is top, with a lot of vegan/healthy options. Margarita, Odysseas and Giorgio were super nice and always there to make our stay pleasant.

We have not stayed in the hotel, but we rented their sunbeds a couple of days during our holidays. The place is wonderful. Margarita, is really nice and makes you feel welcome. Recommend the fruit salad with yoghurt and their handmade granola as a healthy snack from the bar ;)

The new hotel in Plaka Naxos. Hospitable environment with special attention to detail a breath from the beautiful beach of Plaka. I highly recommend it for real holidays in front of the sea or the huge pool of the hotel if you prefer.

Loved this hotel, the staff were great (take time to speak to them and you will see) and the breakfast was excellent. Our room was superb with a great double bed, balcony, ensuite shower room and small kitchen sink in the room (116). We will definitely go back.

It's an ok place. A shame, it has many of the ingredients to make it great but finishing touches are not there. Poor soundproofing materials, poor breakfast, etc. Staff is nice however.

Parking was free and we found a car was useful to get around and see the local sights. A free airport shuttle was available which was great. We had a very nice room with a beautiful terrace. I recommend this place for people who want to feel like at home. Stelios is the owner of the place and he made our stay even more memorable. The hotel is ideally situated on the beach and within walking distance to the Naxos city center. If I go back to Naxos I will definitely stay again at Alkyoni Hotel.

Excellent location. The room is very simple. The shower is horrible, small and the temperature changes all the time. The gym has old equipment and no maintenance. Very expensive for what it offers.

This place is amazing. The staff are wonderful. The breakfast is a cornucopia of local dishes cooked on site. The views are breathtaking. The room was small but had everything we needed. We stayed 3 night and loved every minute. I give this place a hearty two thumbs up. I hope we can come back some time.

We enjoyed our stay at hotel Grotta. The breakfast Is absolutely amazing and caters for all dietary requirements. The spa is lovely and a good way to have some relaxing time. The view from our balcony was incredible, such a beautiful sunset over the temple of Apollo! The service is so friendly and the staff is very attentive to all the guests needs. Such a great place to land on Noxos! The service is authentic, warm, and super helpful. The breakfast is the most delicious, homemade, and fresh I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. The sauna is an added bonus. They also provide free shuttle service to and from the ferry with the sweetest driver. All of the details are just right. Very grateful!

I have stayed in more luxurious hotels but never have I stayed in one with such friendly and helpful staff. And I mean genuinely friendly, not ‘professionally’ friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast is superb, the whole place is spotlessly clean, the spa is a nice bonus and the rooftop patio a superb spot for sunset drinks. I cant recommend Hotel Grotta enough.

Hotel grotto is near the port and has beautiful views of the water. We were welcomed and given drinks and a snack on the house. They knew it was our anniversary and even gave us a bottle of wine and note. They went above and beyond during our stay ensuring we were comfortable and helped arrange a ride to the port for our baggage when we left. I will definitely book here again when we visit Naxos...
