Friendly welcoming staff, rooms cleaned everyday, clean quiet pool area and lots of choice for breakfast also secured entry at night. Shops and restaurants 5 minutes walk and lots of beaches close by. Miss it already 😪

This showed especially, when we noticed at home that we forgot something in our room. Hotel staff very nicely did send them to another hotel on Crete, so that our friends staying there could bring the items home

We stayed in the Hiona Holiday Hotel during summer vacation 2022. The hotel is super clean and nice. Very nice shampoo in the bath. The location of the hotel is quiet and still walking distance to the centre

Wonderful Hotel with lovely staff, nice rooms. Good beds and a wonderful breakfast. Only a short walk into town where you can find some good tavernas. Down at the beach is a fantastic fish restaurant

The hotel has privet parking for the car and room air condition Advice: in the afternoon site with beer/ coffee and watch the beautiful monotones from the hotel dinning porch

We stayed about 10 days, and we felt like part of the family. Poppy and George (owners of the hotel) can not be nicer. Beautiful views, the pool over looks the ocean. The rooms are large and very clean

The kids liked the pool as well as the beach nearby. Bis can be taken to the beautiful vai beach for obly 2€/person

The pool area was clean, the pool was big enough, and the restaurant was good. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Not too far from Vai Beach, and Kouremenos Beach, where ther are a few good choices for restaurants

This is a good base for the beach and the water sports. The team are super friendly and the pool is lovely. Rooms are clean and ac in each room. They feel a little dated but are otherwise great

This place is a hidden paradise. We have the best view from our apartment. Very nice clean and comfortable apartment. The pool was so nice and relaxing reading my book. The owner is very kind and helpful

Small but in the city so you can awans go for a walk. There is not bigos variety of the food but it is tasty. I can especially recomend terapist Popi. The only disadventage is lack of water in the room

Accommodation and facilities were top notch, with the bar near the pool being a great place for relaxation. The only let-down was the buffet-style evening meal

Sitia Beach is probably the most picturesque hotel we have ever stayed at. All staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful; plenty of selection at the restaurant; easy walk along seafront to the town

In the hotel’s spa, I received a massage that truly relaxed me. Every movement was perfectly executed, and I could feel all my tension melting away. It was a genuine moment of well-being and serenity

We asked to be moved to a sea view room and this was accommodated quickly by the lovely receptionists. A special shout out to Stephanos for a very effective neck/back massage at the spa😀

It might not be the cheapest, but they are very friendly and when we would order the hearty kids breakfasts, they would bring extra sweets anyway 😊 When using the sunbeds at the beach, you are expected to order a drink

A Lovely Hotel run by friendly helpful staff . Surpassed our expectations, super clean comfortable rooms with sea views on a quiet road . Only 4 minutes walking away from the main eating and drinking venues.

We are foreigners coming for a wedding. As we were walking along the beach and stopped by their cafe to have a break. Even though we do not understand Greek, he spoke to us nicely

I stayed 2 weeks in Sitia and I went near to 5 times at the rooftop of this hotel because the place is so cool. The view on Sitia, the seats, the bar, the swimming pool and the staff are perfect

Hotel located on the seafront in the center of Sithìa. Very clean, welcoming and bright room with a nice terrace. Good breakfast with lots of choice

The rooftop bar with swimmingpool has fantastic views over the bay. Decent restaurant in front of the hotel. The only negative part was no soundproof walls

The staff was all fantastic, always a smile in their faces and so helpful and making sure you get the best vacation. Breakfastbuffet was good, it had something for everyone and no one walks hungry

Great beach and just up the road is a lady who sells homemade wine and great figs from a charming roadside stall. The Lybian sea is noticeably warmer that the Aegean sea on the north side of Crete.

The treatment in the spa was amazing, we received a very good offer and consultation what would work best for our wishes and goals. Dominique was amazing as a therapist, very friendly and the treatment was great

It is a quiet area, ideal for evening walks outside the hotel, but you will not find any clubs or discos here. Room We chose a sea-view suite, and it was an excellent choice

In the immediate vicinity, there are grocery stores and souvenir shops. A pharmacy can also be found a short distance away. This is not a place for those seeking nightlife

Location The hotel is picturesquely situated in a beautiful bay. The clean, sandy beach with its gentle descent into the sea is perfect for children to play

We liked also is a freedom - you can stay at the sea side on free of charge sunbeds, you can swim at the swimming pool (with sea water) or simply you can seat at the outdoor restaurant and admire sea

Ionio Star is an exceptional place. Located not at the center but closed to it with proximity to the bakery, grocery shop and local bar, at the sea (you can swim if you are good swimmer)

Everyone was friendly, the food was good and every part of the hotel very clean. At night it was fun to hang out with Martin, the barkeeper. We had a fun and relaxing vacation and we´ll definitely be back

Together with my wife and two daughters we had holiday in begin of September. That was the best holiday we had. Atmosphere created by management and staff was outstanding

The resort Is great, especially for families with children. Everything was always clean, enough sunbeds And umbrellas on the beach. The sea Is beautiful, ideal for snorkeling. Food was amazing, various choices every day

Even though we experienced about 50 hours of constant strong wind, so typical of the southern part of Crete, we found time to rent a car and visit many pleasant and interesting places, including sandy beaches in the southeastern tip and the eastern coast of Crete

As an experienced traveler (here I also include business trips around the world), I greatly appreciated the atmosphere of the hotel and the approach of its staff

The evening program for children and adults was also imaginative and pleasant, thanks to the young French artists, accompanied by great dance routines and music

Programs and care for children, even very young ones, were, thanks to the lovely Czech animators, meticulous and enthusiastically accepted by the children

I would also like to highlight the unobtrusive, but friendly and very efficient help of Mr. Stephanos Kaminis, the hotel's Guest Relations Manager
