This is a good base for the beach and the water sports. The team are super friendly and the pool is lovely. Kids loved the diving board. Rooms are clean and ac in each room. They feel a little dated but are otherwise great. Thanks for having us.

Hotel Marina Village is a beautifil area for enjoying calm and authentic holidays direct at the coast of East Crete, including original greek breakfast and best room service. A very good recommendation !

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It's a beautiful complex surrounded by olive trees and beautiful plants. Here you really feel like you are in Greece! The owner is a very kind man. We will always remember the amazing coffee you did for us that one night so that we could eat our baklava. We wish you all the best and hopefully one day we will return to this oasis.

Such a lovely hotel in the middle of a vast olive grove. Perfect place for total relaxation - rooms are huge - simple but functional. “Thalia“ may be only 1 star rated but they keep the other stars for when you stay. Right in the middle of the village, handy for shops and bars/restaurants. 5 mins by car to one of the best beaches. My husband and I went with our children at the end of August. We got a triple room which was not very big but it was spotlessly clean and had a big wardrobe so you can put all your things in and be comfortable. The environment is very pleasant. For me the best value in Palekastro. I've stayed or visited many other accommodations, and House Margot offers big rooms (26m2 and more), clean, quite, efficient hot shower and air conditioning, some rooms have nice terrasse with view on the valley. The owner is very helpfull and nice. I really recommand House Margot... My third stay here.

Probably the best price/quality ratio around Sitia. The hotel is clean, confortable, the rooms are extremely spacious and well equipped with all the basics you can expect at this price level. Antonis at the reception is very discreet but always answered any question or issue we had. The pool is very enjoyable.

Great as a base to explore this lovely corner of Crete, not so much much as a destination in its own right. Rooms are good. We had a wonderful stay in petras beach. It is nothing fancy but the owners are very kind and we’re always working to make our stay as good as possible. They had some good recommendations for restaurants, beaches etc. the rooms were clean. You can’t expect much more for such a small price:)

Very nice hotel. Small but in the city so you can awans go for a walk. There is not bigos variety of the food but it is tasty. They have nice SPA. I can especially recomend terapist Popi. The only disadventage is lack of water in the room. You have to buy it yorself.

All staff at the hotel are so friendly and helpful; plenty of selection at the restaurant; easy walk along seafront to the town. We are foreigners coming for a wedding. As we were walking along the beach and stopped by their cafe to have a break. The server was very polite. Even though we do not understand Greek, he spoke to us nicely. As we had a baby with us, the waiter provided hot water for us and even complimentary cakes. Amazing service at such a beautiful place. Αξίζει τον κόπο απ' όλες τις απόψεις. Πισίνες πεντακάθαρες,το δωμάτιο έλαμπε και είναι πλήρως εξοπλισμένο ακόμα και αλάτι πιπέρι έχει. Ο καφές από το σνακ μπαρ αξιοπρεπέστατος. Γενικά είναι value for money. Φθάσαμε Αύγουστο 16:00 με την θερμοκρασία γύρω στους 40 βαθμούς και στο δωμάτιο είχαν ανοίξει τον κλιματισμό . Αυτό μόνο μας κέρδισε από την πρώτη στιγμή.

Great beach and just up the road is a lady who sells homemade wine and great figs from a charming roadside stall. The Lybian sea is noticeably warmer that the Aegean sea on the north side of Crete.

Just got back from the best vacation of our time. We went as family of 4, 2adults, 2 children 4 and 6yo. Hotel is beautiful, kept clean and the food is vary tasty, themed dinners with great food. Beware, you have to walk up a lot as it is located on the cliff but it is totally manageable even for the 4yo. Swimming pools are clean and once a while the slides are open with lifeguard coming. Vasia and Dominique in the spa were very good, polite and welcoming. The spa was very clean and quiet and the staff in there are all very friendly and welcoming. It was mine and my partners first time in a spa and they made the experience amazing!
