Where to stay in Palekastron

This is a good base for the beach and the water sports. The team are super friendly and the pool is lovely. Kids loved the diving board. Rooms are clean and ac in each room. They feel a little dated but are otherwise great. Thanks for having us.

First of all, the hotel is perfectly located and has an incredible view. The pool area is really nice and the stuff there is super friendly. The rooms are really cute and we had a little terasse which we loved! We would totally recommend this hotel and would love to go there again!

Hotel Marina Village is a beautifil area for enjoying calm and authentic holidays direct at the coast of East Crete, including original greek breakfast and best room service. A very good recommendation !

We stayed here for a couple of nights. It's a beautiful complex surrounded by olive trees and beautiful plants. Here you really feel like you are in Greece! The owner is a very kind man. We will always remember the amazing coffee you did for us that one night so that we could eat our baklava. We wish you all the best and hopefully one day we will return to this oasis.

It’s outstanding value for money. Clean rooms, friendly, facilities including mall tennis court and swimming pool. It’s an old place (feels 70s or 80s) and shows externally, but it’s kept really in excellent condition, rooms are modern (but small), brand new air condition in our room. Such a lovely hotel in the middle of a vast olive grove. Perfect place for total relaxation - rooms are huge - simple but functional. The verandas are fantastic - at night one can see all the stars - so beautiful. Staff are super friendly - offer insect repellent devices at reception, plenty of parking on ground. Breakfast is fantastic - the tea is just divine! 5 min walk to village for excellent restaurants...

We stayed in the Hiona Holiday Hotel during summer vacation 2022. The hotel is super clean and nice. Nice breakfast. Very nice shampoo in the bath. The pool is nice and large. Wonderful Hotel with lovely staff, nice rooms. Clean and tidy. Good beds and a wonderful breakfast. Only a short walk into town where you can find some good tavernas. Down at the beach is a fantastic fish restaurant. The hotel has it's own carpark and is really well situated for daytrips to the beaches like Vai. Fantastic pool also. Will recommend this hotel to all my friends.

July 2019 we stayed for a week at this wonderful hotel. Anna is the ideal host (and cocktail maker) and her staff are very friendly, polite and professional. Breakfast views over the pool to the mountains and olive groves beyond were stunning. Perfectly located 5 minutes walk from Palekastro village centre for great restaurants. My husband and I went with our children at the end of August. We got a triple room which was not very big but it was spotlessly clean and had a big wardrobe so you can put all your things in and be comfortable. The environment is very pleasant. You feel like you're going on vacation to grandma's house. Mrs. Aspasia is an unbelievable person. Whatever we asked for, she brought it to us...and she treated...

The fridge was a bit loud so we ended up unplugging it so we could sleep better. The room was otherwise very comfortable, good A/C, conveniently located and good value for money. Checking in and out was easy and no fuss

the family-run House Margot is 2 km from the sea shores of Kouremenos and Hiona. It highlights rooms with free Wi-Fi and an outfitted overhang ignoring the mountains and the town. we had a great stay and there was nothing to complain. big shower, oversized towels, the room is big enough and well stuffed. the bed is hard. the owner is very kind- and helpful

For me the best value in Palekastro. I've stayed or visited many other accommodations, and House Margot offers big rooms (26m2 and more), clean, quite, efficient hot shower and air conditioning, some rooms have nice terrasse with view on the valley. The owner is very helpfull and nice. I really recommand House Margot... My third stay here.

A very nice hotel to stay. The rooms are cleaned daily and the staff is very polite. It is located very close to the city square and 20 minutes from Kouremenos beach on foot.

Quiet and cosy place. Our room was huge, towels available, good wifi connection and gentle service. Breakfast was okay. Good place for visiting Vai beach.

There is NO pool by the way. I don’t know how that silly photo got there. Zakros is a traditional village in the hills. Hotel Zakros is old but I found it fine and comfortable and the owners exceptionally helpful & friendly. Everything worked in the room. Aircon TV fridge cooker. And even though it’s old it is kept very clean.

Great value for money. Do not expect something fancy or luxurious but instead expect a clean bed, a nice view and a housewarming smile. Surely a renovation would help but for the price it is more than OK.

We used this apartment for a stopover to visit Vai Beach. There is street parking available just outside the property. There are couple of shops and places to eat nearby. The apartment was clean and comfortable, there was plenty of storage space in the bedroom and room to relax in the living area.

This place is a hidden paradise. We have the best view from our apartment. Very nice clean and comfortable apartment. The pool was so nice and relaxing reading my book.
