I spent 8 nights at Hotel Kontes in February (out of season). The hotel was very welcoming and the rooms clean, modern and warm. The hotel is perfectly located in the main town of Parikia where there is a good bus service to other parts of the island. The service was excellent and I would particularly like to commend Gillian on reception who was especially helpful. I would definitely stay again.

This place is sadly very dirty. Bathroom smells awful and has mold in the shower. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. Toilet was dirty and has hair on seat. Trash can has mold all over it. Sheets and pillow cases have women’s hair all over them from previous guest, along with other crumbs and dirt on the sheets. And they left the “clean” bath towel on the toilet seat lid. Headboard also has stains all over it. Also the WiFi doesn’t work at all.

The friendly & courteous staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the plethora of options in the surrounding area in regard to restaurants, cafés, gelaterie, etc. make the Hotel a very attractive choice.
Overall a very qualitative stay. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately we were disappointed with the hotel. The location is amazing but the room was lacking. It was very dusty, our bathroom floor was dirty and our shower head had a crack so water went everywhere. Maybe once the tourist season picks up they can tweak some of the off season issues.

Very nice experience! Lovely lady at the reception desk and the location is a 2-minute walk from the port. Nice, comfortable, clean - we had a great time! Small point of criticism: the shower has trouble staying on the same temperature. For the rest: highly recommendable!

simple but clean 3-star-hotel. very nice staff. They even keep you luggage after check out if needed. I wouldn't stay there for a full vacation but for one or two nights it is really convenient.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Sure it's right next to the port but it smells like a sewage main broke. the lobby smells terribly and the rooms as well. Stay anywhere else if you can.

My partner and I arrived in parikia to find our hotel booking at a separate hotel had been cancelled. We called Jillian from hotel kontes and she immediately found us a room for the night and found us a place to stay at another hotel for the days that hotel kontes was full. The room was basic but very clean. The hotel is located at the port which is very handy for anyone arriving by ferry, it is a 5 minute walk to the beach and within 2 minutes to amazing restaurants along the water. They also offered luggage storage before check in and after check out which gives you lots of flexibility! The service was truly above and beyond.

Great accommodation right in the middle of everything. You have everything you need at this place. Great AC and if you're lucky a balcony with a view over the busy but also relaxing port of Paros.
Checking in is a breeze and you can literally be in your inside room as passengers from the ferry you just stepped off are still disembarking.
Would stay here again for sure.
