Where to stay in Parikia

This is a nice hotel on Paros, but I don't think it felt like a 5 star hotel. (Certainly 4!) It was nice, and we liked the shuttle to Parikia everyday - but the room itself wasn't as nice as I thought it would be. There was some evidence of wear on the floors and furniture, which took away from the overall luxury feel. The shuttle was nice, and maybe it was because we visited in the off season but...

Check in- was told bags would be brought upstairs to my room. When I returned from the port the bags were still downstairs. I inquired about the drinks the other guests were getting upon arrival, but was brushed away. Room- jacuzzi was busted after the first night and they were not able to fix it. The resort looks very nice, runs are quite new, although a few of the lights in our room didn't work. The main problem was the cats. They are everywhere in the resort, even got to our room's porch a few times. The staff were very very nice to us.

They have shuttles that pick you up and drop you off at the port, which is the centralized location for anywhere you want to start your day/night. There you can catch a taxi any other place. Great hotel with good food and service. Very close to Parikia. Hotel will pick you up at the ferry port and take you to the esplanade where all the shops and restaurants are. They will also pick you up. They will arrange a rental car and have the car at the property for you. Everyone is very nice. Property is very pretty with views of the bay.

Our favorite accommodation and experience while traveling the islands this summer. Margarita was tremendously helpful from check in, organizing a rental car that was delivered to the hotel quickly, shuttle to port and incredible recommendations from beaches and restaurants across the island. Lovely and friendly hotel to stay! Service and cleaning very good. Great location and nice view! Beach is close by you can even walk there. Middle of the road hotel in a great in-town location. The hotel appears to have a lot of extra-firm mattresses of which we scored two. We did not get a lot of sleep on the beds whose mattresses could have been cut from Naxian marble. Staff could not do anything about the bed situation, although they did try.

We were there for our honeymoon in Paros. The sea-view rooms are absolutely beautiful. The hotel staff is super nice, helpful and friendly. The restaurant area for morning breakfast is also very nice. In the room, the beds (being of metal frame) were quite squeaky. The AC power is a bit low, it doesn't cool as fast as you would want. The service was good, breakfast okey (could be better as pointed out by other reviews here). Fabulous view to the ocean. I didn't mind the mountain-view at all, so you can go with that if you want to save a little. The water may take a while to heat up so keep it running for a short while if you want to take a hot shower.

We visited this hotel a couple of years ago! It was beautiful, clean and the staff were very polite and welcoming. Looking into booking my trip this year and this is no other place I would stay on the island. The location is perfect and provides excellent views. Great walking distances from to the main city of Paros and transportation options.

A fabulous hotel in a prime location, five minutes from the ferry, next to a great restaurant and patisserie, and all the shops. Extra clean and quiet, with a fantastic staff, the best showers, and an exceptionally good breakfast! The best in central Paros!

I spent 8 nights at Hotel Kontes in February (out of season). The hotel was very welcoming and the rooms clean, modern and warm. The hotel is perfectly located in the main town of Parikia where there is a good bus service to other parts of the island. The service was excellent and I would particularly like to commend Gillian on reception who was especially helpful. I would definitely stay again

Great accommodation right in the middle of everything. You have everything you need at this place. Great AC and if you're lucky a balcony with a view over the busy but also relaxing port of Paros. Checking in is a breeze and you can literally be in your inside room as passengers from the ferry you just stepped off are still disembarking. Would stay here again for sure.

The management of this hotel was exceptional. My husband had to be air lifted to Athens. The management and staff were so caring and compassionate about our well-being. They were amazing. The hotel was so clean and a beautiful energy in this place. I loved our stay. I would never stay anywhere else if I was to return.

It's a great hotel, it's only problem being not having any luxurious amenities, like a pool, big rooms, nice view, e.t.c.. It does a few things, but it's great at it! It's perfect for a couple of nights. Just a regular hotel, nothing fancy, but comfortable, it was clean, and perfectly located near the beach and the port. We spent a wonderful 6 days at Cyclades Studios. The location was very close to the Parikia Beach and about a 10 minute walk to the main port. The room was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. The little kitchen was well equipped with everything for cooking and eating in our home away from home. One of the best 2 star hotel of Paros. My wife and I stayed 5 nights. The stuff and owners are very friendly and polite! The room was very clean and very quiet! The neighborhood was great too and only 1-2 minutes away from the restaurants of downtown Paros. One night I was thirsty and the owner brought me bottle water in my room with no charge. I would strongly recommend it!

We had a nice stay at Hotel Parko. The hostess' mum received us with a big smile. Our room was cleaned and very tidy. The deco was so nice.

Not the best in town. I felt i was back in nineties. But also not the worst. We had to stay because our flight was cancelled so the company booked us a night here. 40 minutes to the airport. There was only one staff at the hotel when we checked in at about 11:30 pm.

I loved this place!!! I was there June 8-12 and Aria and Anka were the best! Super sweet and always smiling. They were always quick to help as well as all the other staff. They made me feel at home. A very pleasant little hotel with a swimming pool overlooking the bay of Paroika. The owners are charming and attentive. They have a pool bar where you can enjoy a cocktail at the end of the day. The room had a nice terrace. In fact, almost all the rooms have a sea view. The beach and the town are accessible by walk (however, beware that the road is a bit dangerous as there is no pavement).

We are halfway through our week staying here. Wonderful place. The staff is very polite. If walking there, google maps may guide you to take a dark path which you may not like to go in the evening. This takes you to the pool area. The main entrance way is where the cars park.

Most amazing pool. Set in the country but a little laneway will get you into the centre in no time. Bathroom needed an update but the room was nice.

It was clean and very quiet with a breathtaking view of the island. The breakfast wasn't the best I've had but it had a variety of choices to please all the guests. It has an amazing swimming pool and garden. The room I stayed in was stylish with furniture made of wood and local marble. It has big enough balconies too fit a table and two director's chairs.
