Only visited as a guest but made to feel welcome by Andonis. Nice pool and background music. Great for sports coverage.

I have stayed at Blue Sky at least 18 times......says it all really. Love it. The family are so welcoming and excellent hosts. Its a stones throw from the heart of the village and beach, so well situated. The 'Bar' is the perfect place to meet up with people......its all very friendly. Petra is an unspoilt Greek resort and well worth visiting.

What a wonderful place for a holiday. Large clean rooms and a nice pool. The host Andonis has a warm welcome for all guests. For a small amount you can rent scooters or a car to explore the rest of the Island but in Petra there are also nice shops and restaurants. Cant wait to return here.

Best hotel in petra- perfect location near the beach & restaurants. the rooms are large and very clean ! Most of the rooms has a pool side with nice balcony. Wonderful staff and family run business. Manager Andonis really take care of his customers. Nice Hotel bar with music an fun ! most guests are English & Dutch. Hotel bar is also open for visitors, most Greek are coming to have a drink after work...

I stayed at Gaea for 2 weeks this November, and it was probably the best hotel experience I have ever had. Nickos was waiting at my suitea when I arrived, a large private house on their property with a genuine and authentically Greek welcome. An amazing place to stay👌 Should you come only for a swim on its astonishing swimming pool be aware of a 5 euro minimum charge but it is included withing anything you might eat or drink) meaning a 3.5 coffee should make you pay 1.5 extra which is cool and reasonable

It is literally a magnificent hotel, and we went when the euro was 2.50, it was 30 euro for two doubles per night. Even now, it is both more beautiful and much cheaper than the most ridiculous hotels in turkey. The hotel is wonderful - we had a delicious breakfast every morning. We stayed in a family suite, which was like a little flat. It had everything we needed, and more. The rooms were cleverly designed to make the best use of space. Lots of lovely little touches that made the place homely. The pool area is excellent and it is only a short walk to the beach. Renee and her family are fantastic hosts.

Gorgeous family owned hotel! We stayed for 10 days and loved every second of it. The staff are lovely and kind, and the cocktails are exquisite. We stayed for a week at Hotel Defkalion in August and it has been fantastic. The appartments are very clean and offer everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The hostess is very kind and serves home made marmalade and baklava at the breakfast buffet. This personal touch tops off the rating with a well deserved 5 stars.

The hotel is new so everything works well, very clean and looks great. There is also a decent kitchenette with everything you need if you want to cook, make coffee or tea. There is a gym with weights, running machine etc., pool was cleaned every evening. Pool is by the road so sometimes you can hear cars passing by, if you care about that. Haven't stayed at its rooms though they seem lovely. We visited its pool bar. Amazing view. It is still not very famous, thus it is not very crowded yet. Perfect sunset. The pool closes at 20.00, but they always let us a bit more to enjoy the sunset.! (Pool contains sea water)
