Hotel Alkyonis

It was not our main destination for our summer vacations, and the truth is that I have no measure of comparison because we have rarely stayed in a three star hotel. However, it is a very special hotel, with elevator access that looks a bit like a scene out of a James Bond movie. The view from the lovely terrace and front rooms is unobstructed, but otherwise the hotel is in need of a major refurbishment. We stayed in one of the renovated top floor rooms which was quite pleasant. The breakfast was not good and its service was problematic, while it was difficult to find a table in the shade. The beach in front of the hotel is nice. The route to the center of the town is very pleasant. I can't overlook that they uncomplainingly accepted us to stay fewer days than we had booked without making a problem with refunding our money, as something came up and we had to leave earlier.
