I have stayed here 6 or 7 times .Very clean low cost hotel .Very close to the port and some high quality restaurants.

They eventually found my reservation, asked for a 3am wake up call for an early flight out of Athens Airport, only for receptionist to ring my room at 3:26 am, to inform my Suttle bus was due to leave at 3:30 am

What a great way to spend a mandatory layover at Athena Airport. People were friendly and the food at hotel was great. Better than I expected from a Holiday inn! Only drawback nothing else really within walking distance

Upon being seated, we were served a basket of warm delicious bread. Ordered the moussaka that was very tasty and flavorful. Also ordered the fish and chips with mushed peas and French fries, all very tasty

I kindly asked him to keep bus waiting for me, and asked him why he didn't ring at 3am as I requested, only to be told that night receptionist hadn't jotted down if it was a am wake up or afternoon wake up

Exceeded our expectations! A much better and more affordable option than the Sofitel. While it’s not within walking distance from the terminal, the hourly shuttle bus makes up for it

At 145 euros one night stay, absolutely unacceptable. Only positive note, young blonde lady at bar was most friendly

stayed at Avra for a night as we had early morning ferry to catch and the location is just beside the port making it very convenient room has all the amenities provided and we had our room upgraded upon arrival! thank you they oso provide transport to and fro athens airport which is free of charge making it so convenient

It was marvelous! The best hotel in Rafina. Not so cheap neither expensive. All the rooms are renovated and has a luxury decoration. Minimal and clean is the best place to relax

We landed in Athens to hear that our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather. Within 45 mins they sent a shuttle to pick us up and gave us a wonderful room by the sea with a great view

Had a stay over for flight transfer. Hotel shuttle is handy, need to contact the reception in advance to book. Need to call them or write to them via email. The email is only available in the official web

Very convenient if you need to overnight for a layover at Athens Airport. Several nice canteens and restaurants int he area with good food and sea views

The Grand Resort Lagonissi is out of this world beautiful. Our bungalow was great, the sea was wonderful and we had a great time.

Resort is so close to the city center of Athens but feels like a world away. There are multiple beaches and pools to enjoy the water. Our sunset side bungalow room had a private balcony and what felt like a private beach

(Mine a bit rocky but just few steps aside and you could swim at your own pace). A sandy beach on the other side at a buggy distance. Just couldn’t walk because it was a terribly warm weather week

Although we didn’t go to the big fancy restaurants on site, the choices were impressive. The more casual restaurants and lounges were excellent, although the service was sometimes slow

Very good food offer at breakfast and lunch with some good options for non-meat lovers. Beach right in front of the bedroom with a stunning view to the ocean and full of privacy

VIVA actually deserves more than five stars. Extremely lovely view on the bay and the sea

The rooms were very clean and we had more than enough space for the four of us and the interior was chosen with great taste and care. There even is an elevator from the garage to the Apartment

Transport to and from the Apartment / beaches even to the airport could be arranged with Nicos against a reasonable charge. All in all a nice place with super Service

Wonderful Hotel Stay with Outstanding Service We stayed at the Nea Makri Seafront Hotel for three nights with my three children, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience

Love it clean, quiet, quiant, side view of sea and port or small marina (can't tell at night because we checked in late night and left very early the next morning)

While the location may not be ideal without a car, the comfort, cleanliness, and exceptional staff more than made up for it. Thank you again to everyone who made our stay so welcoming and stress-free

If you have a Seaview room it is an amazing view to wake up to. Being only 30 mins from the airport it is in a very convenient location for a resort near Athens

It was near the end of the season, however it felt like the hotel was closed. The pool bar didn’t have anything including beer. Someone from the other bar had to bring it up

the advertisement online is not true as rooms are a little small and it was weird that u had to turn in ur key before u left but at least it helped us with not losing it

In conclusion,if you are after great weather,swimming in the Aegan sea and some quiet time with your family for a reasonable price (except for some restaurants),it can be a good option

Hotel was overbooked and the staff was kind enough to book at the very nearby 4 star hotel.

It’s a lovely place that is a few minutes walk from the seafront, where there are plenty of options for food and drink, all the Greek food we had along here was divine! The staff in Thomas Beach are the friendliest and kindest people we met

For those who haven't been to Nea Makri,here are my thoughts on the area: - weather and sea / swimming experience is great (not too hot except for 12-2 pm, warm and clean water,no big waves) - cafes and restaurants are nice but a bit expensive and the food choices are limited - Athens in general look a bit run down,Nea Makri is better than average but still not a luxury type of place

The owner helped us to travel to Athens, which is very easy (ignore Google and talk to the locals!!). The breakfast had everything you could ask for and although we didn’t use the pool, it was clean and looked lovely

Pool towels require a deposit, also from reception, but this is fully refunded when you return the towel. There is a children’s pool and a big pool. It’s nice to swim lengths in when it opens at 10 am ish

This hotel has a lot of positives and exceeded my expectations at this price point. The bedroom was bright and clean with great views, a cute balcony and a fridge. Great wi fi and air conditioning

The food service by the pool was better than some I have had at resorts that cost 5 times more with everything freshly prepared and very good service from Orfeas

The hotel also caters for wedding receptions. If you need a taxi to travel, you can ask reception and they will arrange this for you in advance

The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.

The location is the best there is in a peaceful neighborhood of beautiful Vouligmeni, beneath a lovely pine little forest, parking is always available and the benefit of the 3 minutes walking to the fantastic beach just 200 meters

Beautiful hotel complex, great and interesting shaped swimming pool, always two lifeguards ne'er, exceptional food, friendly staff, live music at night, rooms are cleaned few times a day

Near the hotel is church, down the street are loot of taverns by the sea, up to the centre are farmacies, banks, post, etc. Beer is around 4e, gyros is 4

You can park pretty much where you find a place but pay attention, Greeks park so close that if they hit you it is quite normal, like nothing happened. Rooms are clean, food is so great that there are no words

5e (to go), 7 in the tavern, if you shop in local market, prices are as half as that, water 1e, beer 2e and so on

Of course you hit your head in the wall if you bend to wash your feet and the shower curtain sticks on your body ( not a pleasure feeling, I can assure you )

So u DEFINITELY need earplugs. - the bed mattress is as hard as cement - the pillows hard as sandbags - the bathroom extremely small, not bigger than 2

By way of a footnote I would recommend not hiring a car as the tram service is at the bottom of the road and takes you to 12 beach resorts stop by stop for a very cheap price

A renovated hotel that partially showed its age (eg. Very kind staff even at night giving excellent restaurant recommendations. Parking, which is useful in the area. Very close to the beach and the center of the area

Near all shopping and restaurants although in a very quiet area. Staff are very nice & helpful. Make sure you get upgraded room. Parking is easy and can walk to nearby public beach or take Tram to nicer beaches

Eva was making calls for me for me to book up excursions and the hiring of a motorbike and Costa was the most affable reception attendant I have ever encountered. Please say hello to these two people if you do visit

A nice no frills hotel for an overnight stay. A nice smallish room with immaculately clean bedclothes equipped with fridge, safe, a/c and a nice small balcony

The location is superb as it's a short it walked to the bottom of the road and like an Oasis you walk into lots of bars + classy restaurants but you wouldn’t have known had you not walked that path
