Reviews
Room Condition and Initial Complaint:
Upon check-in, we were assigned room 207. Shortly after, we discovered a significant leak coming from under the bathtub.
We promptly reported the issue, and the maids were sent to clean it up. They attributed the leak to a "deep cleaning" process.
The leak reappeared within ten minutes. We contacted the reception again, and a technician was sent. He reiterated the maids' explanation, which was clearly incorrect, as the leak persisted.
Room Change to Lower Quality Accommodation:
Due to the hotel's near full capacity, we were moved to room 214, which was substantially worse than our original booking. This room had twin beds instead of the requested double bed, was significantly smaller, and the bathroom was about half the size. Additionally, the air conditioning unit's lid was broken and partially detached.
We accepted this room under protest as there were no other options available according to the hotel staff.
General Condition of the Rooms:
Both rooms 207 and 214 were very outdated and did not reflect the pictures on the hotel’s website. The disparity between the advertised and actual condition of the rooms was substantial, contributing to our overall dissatisfaction.
Further Mismanagement and Ongoing Issues:
Later that day, reception staff informed us that room 207 was ready and leak-free. Olga from reception accompanied us to inspect the room. It was immediately apparent that the leak had not been resolved; it was merely covered up with a towel.
The hotel’s consistent mishandling of the situation and refusal to acknowledge the problem caused significant inconvenience.
Request for Refund and Rude Treatment:
We requested a partial refund due to the substantial hassle and the downgrade in room quality, which was refused outright. The staff treated us very rudely throughout the process, adding to our distress.
The service and accommodations provided were far below acceptable standards, and the manner in which our complaints were handled was wholly unprofessional.
Good breakfast which includes everything. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.
Very good service from the personnel.
The beds were very soft and we were both sinking in the middle of the bed which made sleeping miserable. The bedsheets and mattress cover were apparently two small/short for this bed and with the slightest move they were slipping and you had to constantly re adjust them.
Everything in the room is very old and outdated. The painting in both walls and furniture chipped in many places.
Only one plug in the room on one side of the bed. So we had to constantly take turns to charge our phones.
The bathroom was extremely small, it had a lot of black mold and a towel hanger for only ONE towel. So if you are a couple or want to hang more than one towel...good luck on that.
There was no ironing board and iron in the room.
When we arrived they told us the restaurant can receive orders until 21:30. At 21:00 we go down to order a salad and they told us the restaurant is closed and we should go and eat at the restaurants down the street....
This hotel does not have access to the beach. You will either have to use public beach or rent sunbeds from the beach bar that belongs to the hotel next to it (42 euros for a set of two). So if your criteria of booking a hotel is close to the beach and sea view, maybe you should book somewhere else.
The breakfast is extremely limited and very minimal. We asked for coffee packs for our room (have in mind they only have instant coffee) and they brought us 3 decaffeinated packs, no regular coffee…
Our air conditioner suddenly stop working in the middle of the night and went on stand by mode. We had to call someone to fix it in the morning.
The only well presented area of this hotel is their lobby. They haven't put whatsoever any effort on the rest of the place. Especially the rooms are huge disappointment.
Definitely not a 4stars hotel. With the same money you can book somewhere much nicer.
My main issues were :
1 - walls are paper thin you can hear everything in the corridors it’s annoying I didn’t get good sleep at all there was always someone talking loudly or kids running and screaming.
2- there was no laundry service , apparently the laundry they deal with is on vacation?
3 - no in room ironing set , you go to the 1st floor into a room with only one iron to use for all hotel guests.
Other than that staff were nice and helpful but I wish the rooms had more sound isolation
The room we had was nice with the view on the sea
The breakfast was good too
We didn't enjoy any facilities of the hotel because we stayed only 3 nights and spent our time at the beach or at the Vouliagmeni lake but during our stay, the staff has been very helpful and kind and I would love to go back to this hotel
