Grand Resort Lagonissi in Anavissos

Rip off experience using the beach day pass. Paid for myself and my partner about 100 euro for a day pass to a place that's supposed to be of a high standard, and the value of money should offer a nice view to the sea. Yet, after we entered the site and grabbed a seat with umbrella, a security guy and a cat walk model approached us to pitch the idea that we entered the VIP area and our 100 euro dailypass is only for the seat at the edges of the resort with absolutely low visibility to the sea. Wish we were told about this arrangment at the reception where we paid. Surprisingly, they offered to let us stay in the good location if only we pay extra 90 euro bringing total scam bill to almost 200 euro and certainly not worth it as this is not five stars resorts and the setup is old and nothing special. Save your money for better adventure mate.

We went today with my family to use the beach at the Grand Resort for the first time
Before we enter we had to pay for the parking which is fine, but then they charge us 110€ for entry to be chocked after we enter that all the seats on the sand are RESERVED!!!!!

Anyhow my husband pushed the hostess that we want to stay here and we won’t move and how much we need to pay more, she said 90€ so after all the seats are not reserved but we need to pay extra
Very bad attitude and approach from the staff This is not like how Greek people treat tourist we feel that they are just taking advantage from people
There must be a clarity before we pay money that you can pay this amount and you get this and what can we got if we pay extra but that didn’t happen.
We went to take our money back and we shared our disappointment to the receptionist who was very rude and treated us like no problem if you go that’s fine. We don’t need you, I don’t think that lady should be receptionist the way she treat people

A stunning resort and impeccable grounds, but terrible service. Our beachfront “Residential” cabana is absolutely stunning. The resort is on a private peninsula and our cabana has beautiful furnishings and a gorgeous private infinity pool looking out a pristine private beach. Absolutely 100% on setting, ambience, and amenities. Unfortunately, our service experience has been terrible. Upon arrival, my husband booked an 8:30 a.m. tennis session with a pro. He got rackets at the front desk at 8am and was told the Pro would meet him at the court. He got to the court at 8:15 and waited until 9am and the tennis pro never showed up. We let the front desk know when we returned the rackets and they eventually followed up with us to let us know that the tennis session had been scheduled for 11:30pm. That is absolutely ridiculous…nobody wants to play tennis on vacation at 11:30 PM at night. We also had terrible service at breakfast. Our kids enjoyed the breakfast buffet, but all we wanted to order was tea & coffee. We waited and waited for a server and finally stood up and asked the server assigned to the deck…and were told “just a minute”. We continued to wait almost 20 minutes before another server finally appeared to order from. Next, we headed to the beach side pool at which we were told we had to pay €5 for pool towels. We have never stayed at a hotel or resort where one has pay for pool towels. Beautiful location, but abismal service. At this price point, excellent service is a must.
