Where to stay in Possidi

Definitely not a 5-star hotel for many simple reasons. It is an average 4-star hotel. The hotel has 2 parts, the main building and the side buildings on the hill approachable with a cable car. The beach is beautiful, sea is super clean and most of the time calm. The hotel has umbrellas on the sea side which -unlike we were told- are not included in the hotel rate, you need to order at least 5€ per person from the bar. Definitely maximum 3 star hotel. The rooms are equipped with old furniture. They cannot solve a problem with yellow ants. 🐜. Rooms are uphill and have to go with elevator or stairs. On the other side sea view is great. Beach umbrellas ⛱️ are free. Food was very good. Swimming pool is OK. But very often stuff forgets about our orders even with small number of people around. Nice hotel, the bungalows are great, not that distant from the beach but with awe inspiring views of the sea. Not too many moskitos and wasps (unlike other parts of Greece), and the food has a decent variety. The beach is great, with very big and non transparent parasols and almost new sunbeds (7€). We had a very good holiday. The dinner and breakfast is better than lunch. We have an all inclusive so it's so easy when you are thirsty. Receptionist are very nice and friendly. All the staff are very nice and hard working.

Hotel and staff are fantastic. If you are happy to lie by the pool or on the beach this is the place for you. Unfortunately not enough in the local area for us, there was no bike hire/ water sports etc.

We had great time here! The staff is just wonderful from the receptionist to the waitress the really go extra mile to make sure you are having an unforgettable holiday!! The beach is just in front of the hotel, you will find small markets around and a very good restaurants near the beach !!

I stayed at the hotel for four days (three nights) with my friends during summer vacations. The place is ideal for relaxation and fun, the rooms are quite good for their price. The service was nice and friendly, they made us feel comfortable and welcome!

Thea is an excellent 3* hotel in the Possidi area, offering large and clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a lovely garden setting with a pool. The rich and diverse breakfast is a huge plus. I would come back anytime to this place!

Amazing accommodation 1 hr away from Thessaloniki airport! Beautiful view to the sea, private beach which is couple steps away and nearby restaurants are amazing as well. Highly recommended to book the place with breakfast and dinner as they are both delicious ! One extra thing to note is the staff! Owners were very friendly. The hotel is near to a small beach. If you go early(er) you can get easly a sunbed. They should work on redoing the bathrooms, water was leaking all over when in shower. The room was nice, decent, clean. The balcony also pretty big.

Hotel Maria is absolutely amazing!!! Returning to Greece after being in the US for about 20 years, it was the perfect choice to make me feel like home again. The hotel is completely new so everything is great. The beach is near (100 m) and you have around lots of tavern where to eat. The host, Katerina, is very nice and always ready to help you. The breakfast is not so great and could be improved.
