Evening entertainment – the village of Mastichari (5 min by car).

Consists of 28-storey and three-storey buildings.

The hotel has 324 rooms. There are rooms connected (standard room in the housing 55 and 15). For people with reduced mobility and has 2 rooms (standard with a maximum capacity of 2 people) in all public areas of the hotel are ramps.

Beach: public, sandy, 50 m from the hotel, 1 line. On the beach umbrellas, sun beds: free. Beach towels: for a fee. At the pool umbrellas, sun beds: free of charge.

The rooms are very clean and big, this time we had a family room. The location is perfect. A very beautiful beach is right next to the hotel. Tavern Thalasa is very good quality. The dishes are very tasty, the pizza is also outstanding, the best Italian in Germany. The breakfast is excellent and plentiful and the dinner is really very good. I liked everything very much, the quality remained the same and really on top (I was here in 2015) Even in the days of Corona, the staff made a lot of efforts. We can recommend this hotel for families. The only object of criticism is that the children's pool does not have a canopy so that children can play at least in partial shade, the children are in the open sun, and this is unpleasant. Since the umbrellas by the pool are small, there is no shade, and the playground can be equipped with triangular rags (solar sails). All families with children thought so, for one family it was even a reason not to return. If the leadership is smart and would like to continue to accept families here, something must be invented.

I did not spend the night at the hotel. But! My girlfriend and I missed the last bus to Kos while in Mastichari. We decided to walk along the road until dark in order to reduce the cost of a taxi. We were lucky, on the way we were picked up by a manager from the horizon beach resort, gave a lift and helped to order a taxi from the hotel. I can’t say about the equipment and comfort of rest in this hotel, but the staff takes care of the rest not only of their guests, but also of tourists in general!

Very good hotel, nice location, kind staff and good food. Only point of feedback - a lot of noise during the evenings from the TUI hotel, located directly next to Horizon Beach Resort.

Not a 5 star but nice accommodations if your budget minded and from Germany. Nice if even your not. Feels like a German cruise.

Nice atmosphere, rather quite and relaxed. Enough space for all guests. Beach is at the hotel. Tennis (hard court), windsurfing, catamaran, kite-surfing at the beach. All in all nice people. Buffet has good selection, yet I had better food in hotels.
