Where to stay in Stavros

I stayed here 5yrs so on a work trip with a colleague and we had a great stay. The rooms were spacious but very lackluster, but the service was amazing! We were upgraded at no cost due to our company to the all inclusive package and the food was good and drinks were a bit watered down but flowed freely all day and night! Ultimately an enjoyable stay but I can't put my finger on the issue(s) with this place. We as a couple went out of season, we expected bad weather but the hotel seems to avoid most rain coming in off the coast, however the wind chilled the pool area lot as it's quite exposed. Not 5* lovely reception area and relaxation terrace but needs some maintenance in places and staff although friendly and helpful need training to get things working more smoothly. Lovely quite spot and well needed rest.

It's hard to believe anyone would review Anthemis badly; although this hotel has frequently been confused with another local hotel whose name is spelt slightly differently! The location overlooking the Mediterranean is tranquil, the owners are generous & respectful, staff unintrusive and helpful. A nice hotel by the sea, a very beautiful view! The breakfast was nice, a lot to choose from which is nice. It rained and the room was very humid because of this. sadly the AC didn't do anything so it was a bit uncomfortable.

There really is only one word to describe Nanakis Apartments and that is Fabulous!! Family are wonderful caring people, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are the same. Had a lovely, relaxing 10 night stay at Nanakis. This was our 4th stay here. Lovely modern and clean apartments. Beautiful pool and views. Loads of parking for cars Mr and Mrs Nanakis and Son Giannis and staff are lovely people, nothing is ever too much trouble. Close to Stavros, Tersanas and Chorofakia, and a bus stop nearby to Chania. Beautiful setting by a rocky shore, peaceful. The owners leave a generous welcome gift. It's about 20 minutes from the airport.

Fabulous accommodation, spotless & everything you need. Staff are very friendly & helpful. We only stayed for the day as we had a late flight, but wish we could have stayed longer. The pool/view & sun loungers are 5*

Lovely facility right on the beach and walking distance to town. The owner also helped to secure a taxi for my return to the airport.

What an fantastic experience from start to finish. The apartments are pristine, cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels provided. They cater for everything you need to thoroughly enjoy your stay. My girlfriend and I spent a week at this beautiful and peaceful hotel, located in Stavros which is 20/30 minutes by car from Canhia. We take half-board service and I highly recommend to do the same. There's not buffet, but the breakfast is well cooked, rich and made with fresh food. The service and price are excellent.

Top notch service from Zeta at the poolside bar! Flavourful cocktails and snacks. Zeta was friendly, funny and the most hospitable hostess we met in Crete! Truly surprising and fantastic place. It is not a Five Star hotel, but everything about it feels like one. The people were wonderful, the service great and the pool was one of the best I have been to. As I told Zacharenia the manager, I will definitely bring my friends and colleagues in the future.

I highly encourage you to rent apartments in Zorbas Beach Village. The apartments are very clean and fully equipped. Rooms cleaned every day, swimming pool with a beautiful view of the sea. Professional service and friendly attitude towards guests. We will definitely come back 🇬🇷🩵

Me and my grandchildren were so happy that we have chosen Blue Beach resort for our holiday trip. Evetything was so close to our studio, the kids appreciated the pool, there were plenty of sunshades on the beach and the sea was brilliant.

We spent a week at Georgia Vicky. The rooms in the back of the property ( which are facing the ocean) were spectacular! We had room 3. We spent a lot of time just sitting there looking at the sea from our balcony. The owner was always on site and very helpful and friendly. We also spent some afternoons by the beautiful pool. This is a beautiful and adorable location! Though it is a little remote, there is a small town that is walking distance and they do have a couple bicycles on property for the guests to use. The management is incredible, they took the time to make me feel comfortable on my solo trip, and went as far as helping me order dinner, find transportation, and lent me a few euros to pay for my dinner and bus...

We had a fantastic stay here as a family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 kids aged 14 & 11. Apartment was lovely, well laid out and had a really nice outside area where we could sit in the shade. Artemis village was the perfect all rounder. Beautiful setting, ambiance, properties cleaned everyday, stunning pool, incredible staff and even a shared washing machine to do your washing. Minutes from the serene Stavros beach and couple of local restaurants. Would definitely come back.

Wonderful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Chania. The property is beautiful and relaxing, but what really made it the best stay during our 2 weeks in Athens, Santorini, and Crete were the staff. They could not have been friendlier or more helpful -absolutely fantastic people and my family loved our visit. Many thanks for making our 3-day stay perfect!
