Where to stay with pets in Stavros

My girlfriend and I spent a week at this beautiful and peaceful hotel, located in Stavros which is 20/30 minutes by car from Canhia. We take half-board service and I highly recommend to do the same

The location is very beautiful. Near the Stavros beach. The room is big and clean. The pool is cool! The breakfast fresh and yummy. Vicky and all the staff are great.

Not far from Chania, which has lots of great shops! Great food, beautiful accomadation, and nicely decorated rooms. They have a swimming pool with 24hr accsess. It has a lift, a computer room and an undercover car park

i stayed here for 2 weeks when i got stationed on crete. service was great and the management was very welcoming and friendly. the place is a long way from downtown chania, but the beach in stavros is beautiful

Quiet place with a nice pool, good breakfast and overall great treatment from the staff. Excellent as a hub to explore nearby lagoons, caves and mountain trails. May be a bit too far from the beach for some.

And by far most importantly, it is run by a friendly family, who will give you great advice for where to visit and how to get there. We will most certainly come again

It's hard to believe anyone would review Anthemis badly; although this hotel has frequently been confused with another local hotel whose name is spelt slightly differently! The location overlooking the Mediterranean is tranquil, the owners are generous & respectful, staff unintrusive and helpful

To get the best of the location a car is advisable, but it is possible to visit local beaches & tavernas by bus; some tavernas even offer delivery! We've had a fabulous holiday!

Nice location and very nice and kind staff. If i'll ever come back visiting Crete, surely i'll choose Anthemis Residence again!

Beautiful location and quiet! Suitable for families and the rooms are clean and equipped with all the essentials.

Beautiful view in a quiet place. Clean in all areas of the hotel. The staff were kind and my little one loved the owner Mrs. Rubini I think she will never forget her

Breakfast served every day is tasty and includes different options (eggs, bacon, toast, fruit, cereal, sweets etc. ) that should cater to every need. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon

As we stayed for 2 weeks and wanted to see a lot of Crete, we rented a car at their car rental which works great, the car had some trouble after a while of us driving it unfortunately, but they upgraded us to a new car because of it, which shows their level of service to customers

We where there for a period of 2 weeks in June and it was absolutely magnificent. The rooms, garden, rental car and not to forget the Pool was off a very high standard, way above what you could expect of a 3 star hotel

We went to Kavos in April and stayed for 2 weeks. The hotel is beautiful, with a nice pool and access directly to the sea, great for swimming and snorkelling. The apartments are nice with all amenities included

Great place to spend your holiday. Lovely pool with bar for drinks and snacks Every day cleaning service. And breakfast is rich and good. Chania is worth a visit, even as the nearby caves and monastries

The staff all are so very polite and helpful, we can not thank them enough for making our Holiday such an excellent holiday. We definitely will be going back to this oases in Kreta

Restaurant serves wonderful food with convenient hours. Pool is clean, deep, and has a beautiful view. Located in a quiet area perfect for enjoying the coastline

Best experience I've had in a long while. The staff is amazing at their jobs. The bar has fantastic food and a good atmosphere. The sunrises are the best in the island. I look forward to staying here again!

There are a few stores and restaurants within a 15 min walk, and Stavros beach is only a 30 min walk through a quaint neighborhood. This is a perfect place to stay for any amount of time

Great location. Five minutes walk to the beach to the supermarket or to taverns. Very friendly stuff. The place is very clean and the price is cheap. Very good value for money.

The best thing about this hotel is the location , 2 mins walk from a lovely beach in Stavros. The owner ( manager) was very friendly and welcoming and even gave us a lift to the spa in Stavros

The biggest disappointment was the very old and uncomfortable bed which gave us a back ache. The room was also very noisy, there was a noise coming from the walls and it sounded like an old boiler

This might be a structural issue but i feel that the hotel would be much better if they fixed these problems and invested in new beds, boilers and more sound proof surroundings

The swimming pool was a really nice touch and the plants looked very lush outside the hotel itself. There was no bar or a dining area which is a let down

This occurred constantly during the night as well which definitely affected our sleep and made us slightly stressed

The location with the views, the warmth of the hosts, the tranquility yet nearby a small village, the pool and gardens, the cute apartments, the small gestures like raki and cake. A lot of love for kids as well

What a perfect holiday location for any age! We actually came back here during our long holiday in Greece, we loved it so much

We found some of the restaurants that were recommended by the owners slightly disappointing, so just go out and try for yourself. Taverna Irini is famous but you need to reserve well in advance

Stavros beach is 5 mins with the car with some very tasty tavernas / restaurants but the landlady gives you many more great tips. Chania is about 25 minutes away

My room had a stunning sea view and all you could hear were the waves crashing onto the rocks. Stunning sunsets! Very peaceful and lovely to relax by the pool

We will come back! A car is a nice to have. Convenient but not entirely necessary as nearby restaurants deliver lovely food at reasonable prices

Very relaxed and quiet retreat. A good combination of self catering with the option to dine in the pool cafe if you just can't be bothered.

The location and surrundings are great. I wonder what could be better and there is no such thing. The appartment was cleaned everyday. The swimming pool is very nice and deep - very for swimming, not only for children

Nice apartments and houses. Maximum 2 floors. Pool is great, phantastic view to the mountains. Newly renovated during the last years. Friendly stuff, fair prices. 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and bay and some taverns.

Would like to be back and stay there!! This is the best Appartements we ever had on Crete. Love the modern new style, all is sooo clean and the people are more than friendly

Stunning location just overlooking the sea. Spotlessley clean with new swimming pool and so so peaceful. Proprietors and staff could not be more kind and caring. so typical of the Greece I love

Nice location, clean and friendly staff but be warned, the Air Con is only in the bedroom and hardly works at all. I stayed in other apartments in the area which were much better. Too expensive for what you pay.

There is a basketball court, swings, and all these areas are kept well, and the grass is mowed, watered and well looked after! The family is incredibly nice and welcoming with lots of recommendations and helpful things, offered to do stuff for us and offered a place to shower and change on the last day after we checked out

The area is very nice as well, with good shops and restaurants nearby, lovely beaches nearby and some hills/mountains which are good scenery but also fun to go up! The place is 15 minutes from the airport as well which is an added bonus, but also planes didn't fly right overhead (best of both worlds!)

One great thing is the fact that everything is right next to the sea, with great views, especially at sunset, with lots of red & orange sun sets! If you don't like the sea, there is a nice pool, which is clean and maintained daily

Clean, quiet and lovely new hotel. Brand new we were the second family in the room. Owners and staff is so kind, friendly and helpful. We ara so happy to be here. The sunset view from our balcony is a must see.

Stayed here one night. Was a lovely apartment, they gave us a bottle of water and orange juice in our fridge, lovely shower, quite remote but lovely nonetheless

If you do not mind that it is a little far from Chania, it is very nice, clean, well-kept, quiet place and with an amazing owner !!!

Great place for families or those looking for a quite place to rest. Marvelous wievs. Around 15 minutes walking from the nearest village.

Also restaurant lacks vegetarian options, you could add cooked wild greens, green beans, fava and white beans and non meat eating guest would be very happy

But pool is small, and apartments lack shaded chill out place, there is no place to hide and read book away from other holiday makers

Just everything , The location , villa the pool just everything is perfect....have been ones and will go again in fact have booked for next year ....

The place is secluded, chill, beatiful view to the sea. Dimitris is a very friendly and helpful host, also funny :) Maybe rent a car, if you travel with kids, as the nearest store is about 10-15 min on foot away

From the terrace you can see the sea. Very clean, tastefully decorated. The lower terrace, where there is also a large table, should be protected from the sun and wind and would be a good investment

The caretaker Dimitri takes care and is happy to fulfill individual wishes. Worth mentioning in particular, there is a new satellite TV system 😃👍 A highlight is the spacious pool

The famous Zorba beach is about 20 min on foot away. The beatiful Kalatas beach is about 15 min by car away
