We needed somewhere not far from chania airport and this place fit the bill perfectly. The staff were friendly and the room adequate. A short walk into the small town centre for food and shops and 15 minutes walk down a steep hill to the harbour and small beach, frequented by locals more so than tourists. Recommended for an airport stay

Creta Vitalis lives off its rented cottages. The hotel is basic but clean. The breakfast falls into the same category. The noise insulation between room and corridor can be improved upon. The taxi drivers have the tendency to charge from the airport the same rate as if going to Chania.

We’ve been travelling a lot in the world but I must say the staff at this hotel as amazing. Iro and Mari are so nice and helpful. We had an amazing time there. Lena Beach Hotel is a hidden gem. Stunning location and truly excellent service from all the staff. The shared areas of the hotel are so well maintained and the dining area, terrace and pool area are beautiful. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. It didn't bother us at all but if you like a touch of extra quality in your bedroom furnishings then maybe not for you.

Room 21 has a great view, was cozy and clean. The owners were very friendly, they give you the feeling of being home. We found it really nice being welcomed with a bottle of wine and getting water every single day. One of the best hotels we have stayed in, with the most wonderful view from our room. The breakfast that we ate by the pool each morning was unbelievable. Staff are incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to accommodate any request they can. Olympia to be specific made our whole stay just that extra bit special. Our stay at Royal Sun was wonderful. We enjoyed very comfortable rooms, nice pool area, excellent breakfast and dinner in Michelin-class restaurant The Hill with an amazing view over Chania city. The free transfer service to Chania Old Town and back (shuttle bus goes every 30 minutes) offered by hotel is definitely a plus! Instead of having three, the hotel is absolutely worth four stars.

We arrived at the hotel and didn't regret it for a moment. We went there during the off-season. There were almost no shops open around on Sundays, but the city center was a half-hour walk away and it was quite lively. The air conditioning in the room did not heat the room, the balcony was large, and there were not many types of breakfast.
