I stayed here 5yrs so on a work trip with a colleague and we had a great stay. The rooms were spacious but very lackluster, but the service was amazing! We were upgraded at no cost due to our company to the all inclusive package and the food was good and drinks were a bit watered down but flowed freely all day and night! Ultimately an enjoyable stay but I can't put my finger on the issue(s) with this place. We as a couple went out of season, we expected bad weather but the hotel seems to avoid most rain coming in off the coast, however the wind chilled the pool area lot as it's quite exposed. Not 5* lovely reception area and relaxation terrace but needs some maintenance in places and staff although friendly and helpful need training to get things working more smoothly. Lovely quite spot and well needed rest.

I and my family liked a hotel a lot. The intertaimant team Dorota and Marro the best!!! All inclusive is nice for family with children.

This is a 5* resort from top to bottom. We will definitely go back, lush room 216 with a view you just keep looking at. Staff amazing.

Facilities are readable but for saying it's a 5 star hotel it really is not! Food is bland, repetitive and most time trays are empty. Would have given it more stars but the hotel could do with abit of TLC. Staff friendly and helpful.

Quiet place with a nice pool, good breakfast and overall great treatment from the staff. Excellent as a hub to explore nearby lagoons, caves and mountain trails. May be a bit too far from the beach for some.

First of all, the hotel staff is very nice and helpful. It was one of the most pleasant and relaxing places I've stayed. They’re very attentive to details. Extraordinarily clean pool. My girlfriend and I spent a week at this beautiful and peaceful hotel, located in Stavros which is 20/30 minutes by car from Canhia. We take half-board service and I highly recommend to do the same. There's not buffet, but the breakfast is well cooked, rich and made with fresh food. The service and price are excellent.

It's hard to believe anyone would review Anthemis badly; although this hotel has frequently been confused with another local hotel whose name is spelt slightly differently! The location overlooking the Mediterranean is tranquil, the owners are generous & respectful, staff unintrusive and helpful. Great place to spend your holiday. Great and friendly staff. Lovely pool with bar for drinks and snacks Every day cleaning service. And breakfast is rich and good. Quiet surrounding, seaview. Chania is worth a visit, even as the nearby caves and monastries.

We went to Kavos in April and stayed for 2 weeks. The hotel is beautiful, with a nice pool and access directly to the sea, great for swimming and snorkelling. The apartments are nice with all amenities included. As we stayed for 2 weeks and wanted to see a lot of Crete, we rented a car at their car rental which works great, the car had some trouble after a while of us driving it unfortunately, but...

Absoutley gorgeous view. From the landscape, to the pool, to the room itself, everything about Kavos was magnificent. I was picked up free of charge and could rent a car directly from the hotel at well below cost of the airport. We where there for a period of 2 weeks in June and it was absolutely magnificent. The rooms, garden, rental car and not to forget the Pool was off a very high standard, way above what you could expect of a 3 star hotel. The staff all are so very polite and helpful, we can not thank them enough for making our Holiday such an excellent holiday. We definitely will be going back to this oases in Kreta

Best experience I've had in a long while. The staff is amazing at their jobs. The bar has fantastic food and a good atmosphere. The sunrises are the best in the island. I look forward to staying here again!

Great hotel, with nice people. Very clean, comfortable and quite. Big pool, never overcrowded, clean water and in one area is 2.8 m deep. Pool bar with drinks and food, which is good to have close to the pool. One small beach is very close, the other one 5 min walk. Market is about 15-20 min by walk. Without a car in the this area will be tough, bus to the city coursing 3 times a day, from Chania last...

We’ve been travelling a lot in the world but I must say the staff at this hotel as amazing. Iro and Mari are so nice and helpful. We had an amazing time there. Lena Beach Hotel is a hidden gem. Stunning location and truly excellent service from all the staff. The shared areas of the hotel are so well maintained and the dining area, terrace and pool area are beautiful. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. It didn't bother us at all but if you like a touch of extra quality in your bedroom furnishings then maybe not for you.

Stayed here for two nights during my and my wife's anniversary trip, and they helped make it amazing. Mary was so helpful in giving us ideas on where to go to get out and have some fun. We stayed at Lena Beach Hotel for three nights and we really enjoyed our time there. The staff was very helpful and kind, always happy to help. We liked the breakfast very much. It was diverse, tasty and fresh. The pool was great, and there is also a beach near by with some shadow.

This is a nice hotel - staff is friendly, location close to Kalathas beach (2 min walk) with rooms having a terrace overlooking the sea. Breakfast is fantastic, buffet-style served on a large terrace overlooking the sea. Room is decent size. There is private parking of the hotel, which is handy. Creta Vitalis lives off its rented cottages. The hotel is basic but clean. The breakfast falls into the same category. The noise insulation between room and corridor can be improved upon. The taxi drivers have the tendency to charge from the airport the same rate as if going to Chania.

Me and my mum spend 4 nights at this hotel. In my opinion the place is worth the price. Beautiful gardens, stunning flowers with romantic paths. Hotel is situated close to nice beach and good-size swimming pool with comfortable sunbeds ;) Room is just about with everyday clean bathroom, fridge and new TV ?. Breakfast is ?. But if you looking for some sausage and black pudding you won't find it...

We visit Crete yearly. This hotel is an absolute must for us. Unsurpassed Service, Safe, Clean, 3 Beaches are minutes by car, Many lovely rooms to choose from, Pool, Traditional Cretan Atmosphere, Close to All Amenities, Bus Route within 100 m. , 15 minutes from Chania or Airport! We love it here?

The best thing about this hotel is the location , 2 mins walk from a lovely beach in Stavros. The owner ( manager) was very friendly and welcoming and even gave us a lift to the spa in Stavros. The swimming pool was a really nice touch and the plants looked very lush outside the hotel itself. There was no bar or a dining area which is a let down. What a perfect holiday location for any age! We actually came back here during our long holiday in Greece, we loved it so much. Good in general but lacking many details to make a stay comfortable. No beach in walking distance. Fully paved in concrete and tiles. Natural touch is limited.

Extremely good place; The apartments are comfortable and there is a nice kitchen with fridge/freezer, oven, stove etc, the beds are nice as well. Nice location, clean and friendly staff but be warned, the Air Con is only in the bedroom and hardly works at all. I stayed in other apartments in the area which were much better. Too expensive for what you pay.

Beautifully situated on the edge of the sea. With all facilities and friendly and caring staff. Apartments are equipped with kitchen. Very good wifi. Unfortunately you can't order food on site, you have to drive a bit to the nearest town. But there are plenty of good restaurants and tavernas around. Nice apartments and houses. Maximum 2 floors. Pool is great, phantastic view to the mountains. Newly renovated during the last years. Friendly stuff, fair prices. 5-10 minutes walk to the beach and bay and some taverns.

Great place for families or those looking for a quite place to rest. Marvelous wievs. Around 15 minutes walking from the nearest village.

Location and view is 5 stars. Staff also deserve 5 stars. But pool is small, and apartments lack shaded chill out place, there is no place to hide and read book away from other holiday makers. Also restaurant lacks vegetarian options, you could add cooked wild greens, green beans, fava and white beans and non meat eating guest would be very happy.

For a young family the setting, facilities and hosting were fabulous. We travelled with our children, age 1 and 3. There was everything a young family could need and the host made sure every aspect of our stay was excellent. We would love to stay again!

We had a lovely time at Soula’s!! She’s like a fairy godmother that our toddler fell in love with in our 4 days there :) the playground is great and it’s so great to have food ready in the fridge each day. We had a lovely Easter lunch all together and it was a great first day and way to meet the other families!

We had the most relaxing 4 days! It's such a small and cozy place, where it's easy to get in touch with other families. For the kids language was not an issue at all. Our 3 yo would easily have spent the whole time on the property as there was plenty to do. And of course the host Soula is absolutely amazing!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! We've never been anywhere like this before! It's perfect for families with small kids (under 8 I would think). We went with a baby and a 3 year old and had the best time. It's a small, independent family run place with 7 apartments set around a play area, pool (with every toy you could ever need) and bikes and scooters for the whole family. The place is secluded, chill, beatiful view to the sea. The pool is big and clean. Dimitris is a very friendly and helpful host, also funny :) Maybe rent a car, if you travel with kids, as the nearest store is about 10-15 min on foot away. New house on a large lot. From the terrace you can see the sea. Very clean, tastefully decorated. The lower terrace, where there is also a large table, should be protected from the sun and wind and would be a good investment.
