I stayed here 5yrs so on a work trip with a colleague and we had a great stay. The rooms were spacious but very lackluster, but the service was amazing! We were upgraded at no cost due to our company to the all inclusive package and the food was good and drinks were a bit watered down but flowed freely all day and night! My girlfriend and I spent a week at this beautiful and peaceful hotel, located in Stavros which is 20/30 minutes by car from Canhia. We take half-board service and I highly recommend to do the same. There's not buffet, but the breakfast is well cooked, rich and made with fresh food. The service and price are excellent.

It's hard to believe anyone would review Anthemis badly; although this hotel has frequently been confused with another local hotel whose name is spelt slightly differently! Lena Beach Hotel is a hidden gem. Stunning location and truly excellent service from all the staff. The shared areas of the hotel are so well maintained and the dining area, terrace and pool area are beautiful. The rooms are basic but clean and functional. It didn't bother us at all but if you like a touch of extra quality in your bedroom furnishings then maybe not for you.

We stayed at Lena Beach Hotel for three nights and we really enjoyed our time there. The staff was very helpful and kind, always happy to help. We liked the breakfast very much. It was diverse, tasty and fresh. The pool was great, and there is also a beach near by with some shadow.

Creta Vitalis lives off its rented cottages. The hotel is basic but clean. The breakfast falls into the same category. The noise insulation between room and corridor can be improved upon. The taxi drivers have the tendency to charge from the airport the same rate as if going to Chania.

Room 21 has a great view, was cozy and clean. The owners were very friendly, they give you the feeling of being home. We found it really nice being welcomed with a bottle of wine and getting water every single day. Location was good, but reaching the center you need transportation (bus stop directly next to the hotel, with car it is a 10 min drive).

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, with the most wonderful view from our room. The breakfast that we ate by the pool each morning was unbelievable. Staff are incredibly friendly and always go out of their way to accommodate any request they can. Olympia to be specific made our whole stay just that extra bit special. Best hotel I've ever stayed at. That's not an exaggeration at all! We've been recommending this place to everyone who has told us they're considering coming to Crete. The heated pool is to die for, the people at reception are unbelievably friendly and respectful and the rooms are like mini palaces.

This is a wonderful hotel in a restored 19th century building that was originally the Austrian consulate. The staff are amazing! We went to dinner and came back to a second set of fresh towels, empty waste baskets, and turned down beds. The included breakfast buffet is beyond description and the coffee was superb. (While there is no hotel parking we had no trouble finding public street parking).
