I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter. Service and cattering - lovely

It has a Spa area, with sauna, aroma cabin, not tubs

It's a nice place, but nothing special. The prices are okay, it's cheap. The food relatively okay, the rooms are more or less clean. The water smells for a minute, I don't know why

And then the negatives after the positive things: - Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, - The staff is specifically direct and helpful, - Pleasant courtyard with pool

There is a perfect hotel, the sauna is good, there is a separate sauna seance, they cook gently and the surroundings are beautiful.

Due to the Michelin award we have tried this restaurant. I have to say that the experience was rather good. Our waiter seemed a bit of a rookie but apart from being a bit nervous, he was very polite and helpful

I (and the restaurant also) recommend booking online or over the phone, to avoid disappointment. Otherwise just immerse yourself in the smells and tastes, wines and beers, eat, chat and relax!

One of my very favorite restaurants in Hungary. Chicken paprikash and cabbage salad are highly recommended. Great vegetarian and vegan options as well. Table should be booked in advance

Instead full portions, where a soup or even a dessert might be too much We thoroughly enjoyed the meals & drinks, I think the price was acceptable, and the service was outstanding

We arrived at 12 with booking and thought there was no point of prebooking, as the place was literally empty. By the time we left, it was full, with a really good atmosphere

I uploaded my review as a picture. Check in between 2 to 7 pm, but the wellness center is open between 8:30 18:30. So we needed to go to hotel earlier.

The location is perfect, just immediately at the lake, there are rooms which have magnificent views. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is a brilliant renovated modern hotel on the Balaton lakeside which fulfills all needs. Definitely a five star choice.

The accommodation is clean, modern with new furniture and a beautiful bathroom. The park is well maintained with lots of flowers. The hosts are kind and helpful

The resort is close to the center, but in the most beautiful street of Szemes it is located in a forest with ancient trees

The beach is circa 400 meters away which is further than what you would expect from the adverts but the hotel pool makes up for it. They have a bowling alley which is nice. But not so nice if your room is above it

The staff is friendly, the food is well presented, and cooked to perfection. The wellness facilities are satisfactory. The extra services are excellent

I had an hour of relaxation massage,pleasant atmosphere, and the lady was amazing. Super friendly, cheerful and attractive indeed

It is a good hotel with quiet and air-conditioned rooms. The air-conditioning is a bit weird, though, as it is located in the bathroom. The food is very good and you can take as much as you want

I don't understand their pricing policy, they told me they will send me discounts for the next year and it turned out they wanted twice the money I have paid

The welness is very good also. The parking is too small for the amount of rooms they have

The staff spoke either English or German. There was a children's playground just down the road on the waterfront. The neighbouring towns were within walking distance (although a car or taxi might be better for some)

We arrived in one of the worst thunder storms in living memory and they were outside waiting to help us in with our bags! The room was clean, spacious and the breakfast had something for everyone

We stayed here for a week and loved the place. The small private beach is very neat, the staff is super-friendly, and our balcony had a lovely view of Balaton.

The hotel has its own private beach，the decoration is very classy, the breakfast is very rich. The manager IIdiko is very kind. always smiling, always ready to help you with any problem.

Food and staff amazing combined with the view will go to 5 stars! The only downside is that the place is not that clean, dust and spiders are something that should not be considered! Apart from that, great experience!

fairly good but there is a serious contradiction between the image of the yacht club and the reality - these are apartments at hotel pricing, acceptable, but some little things are missing from everything

Like shower gels missing from the room, usual at an apartment, but you would expect it at a yach club. The restaurant was ok but the menu is a bit poor, much smaller hotels has a bit richer offering

So overall it was ok, but not really persuading to stay for weeks

All I can say is good! Breakfast and dinner are always delicious and varied. The waterside sauna is unique! The view of Lake Balaton is magnificent! They won't regret choosing this hotel!

It is in a beautiful location, the accommodation was adequate, we stayed in the Garden section. Breakfast and dinner were also plentiful, varied and very delicious. The staff was helpful and kind

For a half-board meal, you had to walk (2 minutes) to the yacht harbor restaurant, the staff was kind and polite. The quantity and quality of food and drinks was great

We spent 3 days at the Garden in mid-May. The room is clean, fragrant, comfortable bed, just right for the purpose

Negative: non-smokers should be more careful, the smoke from the neighbor is disturbing

I would recommend a dryer in the rooms (it would not require a lot of financial expenditure), because after bathing the water swimsuit as well as the towels have to be spread out

What I really missed was a small shared kitchenette where at least one kettle or microwave could have provided a coffee option as the bar area was only open towards evening

Very good location, a few steps to the beach. Although the accommodation could have been occupied from 3 pm, the receptionist arrived after 4 pm

We got room 204, its furnishings are pretty puritanical, but we just went up to sleep anyway

Extremely kind and friendly staff. They were helpful in everything. We arrived at the accommodation by bicycle. Secure bicycle locking option. Very delicious dinner and breakfast. The rooms they are clean and very cozy

We've been here several times and we've always been satisfied, and we've returned home with good experiences. Kind, helpful staff. Nicely renovated rooms. Overall, a cozy accommodation.

The mattress is very comfortable. They were also flexible about the time of departure. We hope that we will have the opportunity to stay here for several more days

Well, if you are around this magic side of the Balaton, it is definitely a must. All local ingredients and prime quality service and preparation.

I spent a night here, the location is beautiful. There is a pool outside, we were able to use it during night, there is also a sauna. The breakfast was good as well.

I did not remember that we could here the noise of the trafic from the main street last time. But it was really loud this time. With earplugs it is okay to sleep. The breakfast and dinner was much better I expected

The sortiment is not huge but food is nice. The lake Balaton is really close by walk. Best experience was the massage. All in all we still like the place

Nice place, with a really fine sauna and steam cabin. The rooms are big enough with nice cubboards. There are no mosquito nets on the windows, which can be problematic in summer

I don’t usually write opinions but I can’t go without a word for development! We were for the first time last year and we were so pleased that this year we chose this hotel as well

The only thing that bothered us was a total lack of information in at least English tempting e-menu for dinner? Sure, if you speak Hungarian. But the place was good overall

The breakfast was good, especially the cake was very delicious, not even beat to make up. I can filter mainly from the fact that my very picky child lived well every night

When we arrived again with our almost 2-year-old little girl, I was surprised that instead of last year’s small play corner, there was a larger playroom

The staff was not unknown, most of them were familiar from last year and they brought the same maximum and kindness as when we first visited here

The only reason I'm giving the hotel a rather generous 4-star rating is its beach, which is pretty dang good for the cheap entry fee of 1-2 euros max, especially when considering that you can rent a wide variety of boats there, too

Retro hotel with a beautiful huge garden right at the lakeside of the Balaton and one of the best views to the lake and to the hills of Tihany. If the buildings were renovated and refurbished, I would fully recommend it

It is a good place for families. Good conditions of living. Air conditioning in every room, cleaning services on high level and cooking services as well-they were very helpful.

Taken together, five stars (because of the food and beach). But the lack of outdoor restaurant in the evening is a missed chance to be a truly superior resort
