Very well managed Balaton hotel. All kind of services. Kind staff. Perfectly clean.

It is a good hotel with quiet and air-conditioned rooms. The air-conditioning is a bit weird, though, as it is located in the bathroom. The food is very good and you can take as much as you want. The welness is very good also. The parking is too small for the amount of rooms they have. I don't understand their pricing policy, they told me they will send me discounts for the next year and it turned...

Nice location around the forest, very peaceful where you can recharge your batteries. The food is good but on the pricier side. Facilities: - great swimming pool and wellness (sauna, jacuzzi) - you can rent bikes, scooters and have a massage at a reasonable price - ping pong table and tennis court near the pool plus a playground; some may be not free - at the sublevel there is a fun room with darts...

Very nice place. The beach is circa 400 meters away which is further than what you would expect from the adverts but the hotel pool makes up for it. The food was OK. They have a bowling alley which is nice. But not so nice if your room is above it. And I mean 2 floors above it. So ask for a room as far as possible from it.

I expect more services from a 4 star hotel... Nothing in the room, no water, coffee machine, the fridge is empty... And quite old furniture

Clean and very pleasant with its own beach, beachbeds, and playground for kids.Rooms are spacious enough and have a big balcony.:D Most comfortable beds we have slept in.Loved it.

Nice, friendly staff. The room is clean and nicely furnished. It is next to the railway, yet a quiet calm environment. If you have to write something negative, maybe the fact that the shower head holder is fixed cannot be adjusted. This is inconvenient for people of non-average height.

One of the best places to stay at Balaton. The staff is excellent and the owner is very freindly. The rooms are highly clean and are niceley renovated. The rooms are also equiped with air conditioning. And it also has wifi.

The lady who received was very kind, the room / bathroom clean and tidy. Unfortunately, TV didn’t catch a single transmitter, ants were at war everywhere 😁. WiFi is slow and intermittent.

Dear owner and staff welcome all guests. The rooms are nicely renovated, suitable for a peaceful rest, with air conditioning. Opposite the room, the restroom shower cabin was in clean and beautiful condition. The accommodation is not far from the beach, restaurant, shop, gift shops, train station.

We arrived in one of the worst thunder storms in living memory and they were outside waiting to help us in with our bags! The room was clean, spacious and the breakfast had something for everyone. The staff spoke either English or German. There was a children's playground just down the road on the waterfront. The neighbouring towns were within walking distance (although a car or taxi might be better...

The villa is located a few steps from the beach, a few minutes away from restaurants and markets, the owner is incredibly friendly, the room is nice and clean, the breakfast delicious... I first visited in 2015 and this is definitely not the last time.

They are very nice people. Delicious food for breakfast. One thing that was a struggle was that we even heard the bathing of the 3rd Room at midnight. Unfortunately, snoring could also be heard in the next room.

We spent Christmas at a hotel. The staff is very kind and helpful. The cleanliness of the room is fine. The food is very delicious. The organized programs were very good. (Concert, disco) The problem was that there was no lunch option at the hotel. Since other restaurants and shops were closed during the Christmas holidays, we did not have lunch for three days. Very nice service, clean tidy environment, pleasant shady, spacious yard and beachfront. Value for money is perfect. There is a dog beach right on the beach next to the hotel, providing a real experience for both the owners and the dogs, and not least the other guests. SUPER!!!

The retro building from the outside hides a modern interior. The staff is kind and helpful. The buffet breakfast and dinner are excellent. All rooms have a terrace with a nice view of the lake. Middle-aged couple I didn't like the fact that the dogs were allowed to enter the park, in many cases the dogs weren't even on a leash, they did their small and big things in the park. We were here only one night but received only positive emotions. I was here for a mathematical psychology seminar, and we were very well taken care of at Jogar Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and quite relaxed about having 35 students in the hotel, playing in the game room until late evening. We felt welcomed and treated well as guests. A great hotel in terms of location, services, food, and the workers are very cooperative. The rooms are very clean. A suitable swimming pool and a view of natural scenery. It is very suitable for families and children. There is nothing to complain about.

I spent a night here, the location is beautiful. There is a pool outside, we were able to use it during night, there is also a sauna. The breakfast was good as well.

When you put it in context everything was ok. Decent, simple, amenities not too new. But good breakfast and close to the lake. Nice parking lot. The only thing that bothered us was a total lack of information in at least English tempting e-menu for dinner? Sure, if you speak Hungarian. But the place was good overall.

Location is fantastic. It is only few minutes away from train station on foot, few minutes away from the beach, few minutes away from the restaurants. It has its own restaurant as well. Breakfast was ok. Room was really clean.

I came here with my son and wife to spend a weekend away from the city. I couldn't expect more from a 3 star hotel. (Summer price is a little bit higher than winter...expectable). Rooms are good. It's a nice place, but nothing special. The prices are okay, it's cheap. So don't expect fancy things. The food relatively okay, the rooms are more or less clean. The shower, that's bad. The water smells for a minute, I don't know why. It has a Spa area, with sauna, aroma cabin, not tubs.

Retro hotel with a beautiful huge garden right at the lakeside of the Balaton and one of the best views to the lake and to the hills of Tihany. The decoration is awful from the inside as well as from the outside, or rather the lack of it. Looks like it's never been renovated in the past 60 years. The only reason I'm giving the hotel a rather generous 4-star rating is its beach, which is pretty dang good for the cheap entry fee of 1-2 euros max, especially when considering that you can rent a wide variety of boats there, too. Really old fashioned and basic. Ideal for just staying the night and a quick dip in the lake but don't expect more. This used to be a really fancy hotel with quite a bit of features and activities but they were clearly abandoned.

The accommodation is clean, modern with new furniture and a beautiful bathroom. Rooms are air conditioned. Wi-Fi is free. The park is well maintained with lots of flowers. The hosts are kind and helpful. The resort is close to the center, but in the most beautiful street of Szemes it is located in a forest with ancient trees.

Pleasant environment, very nice, clean, comfortable rooms. A perfect choice for a holiday with two children.

It is in a great location, 2 train stations are a short walk away. Parking inside the fence, barbecue facilities in the garden, practically furnished rooms. This is all positive. However, maintaining contact with customers is not a strong point of the place, just as there is still plenty of room for improvement in my tone of voice with guests.

We stayed in a first floor room with a double bed. It is true of the entire accommodation that it is tastefully furnished and the time spent there is pleasant. Nice inner courtyard, swing bed with mosquito net, electric grill, comfortable garden furniture, high quality ping pong table and ping pong accessories.

A pleasant, cultured place. The street is quiet and the free beach is relatively close. It is also ideal for children. In the yard you can cook and grill. The house and rooms are well equipped. I would love to go back another time.

I was looking for accommodation for one night and I am very glad I chose this. Real family hospitality, laundry cleanliness, you can park your car in the yard. Breakfast can also be requested. We re-visited this hotel again in August. The staff was nice and this time our room was in the main building. We enjoyed this room much better that staying in the new wing in June.

We stayed at Tihany Yacht Club two nights in June. The staff was nice, parking was easy. Our room was very clean, facing Lake Balaton. Breakfast was OK but be prepared if you to go after 9:30, there is hardly anything left...

The room was lovely, nice, big and clean. The food was good but a limited choice. Private secured parking, superb WiFi and an absolutely fantastic location with friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful by day, listening to the waves roll onto the rocks and atmospheric at night with the lighting around the area. Lovely big area for the dog too!

It was my 1st time to visit Club Tihany Bungalows. Location is really good, staff is nice, breakfast is tasty. The only thing I am not happy with that the bungalow did not seem perfectly cleaned which is really important specially during the covid. Also cobwebs must be removed. The hotel location is great, the garden is very, spacious, it has an own beach with sunbeds. There are kid club, playground, football, basketball court and outside kid's pool with slide. Pleasant large rooms, if you book the superior class with lake view, balcony (on which smoking is not allowed) and air condition in the main hotel building.
