Live in Budapest, this is written more for tourists to Hévíz and the Ensana Thermal Aqua. Easy to access by public transport direct by Volan Bus from Budapest, or train from the Budapest Déli or south station in Buda, to Keszthely, then frequent buses to Hévíz (10 minutes). On foot from the bus station Ensana Thermal Aqua was easy to find, about 20 minute walk, use the central lake as your destination...

We have been staying at the hotel for many years in a row. We were very pleased with the reconstruction of the SPA area. But I would like to point out a negative point: the centrifuge was not placed in the open access as it was before, but in the toilet. Some guests think it is possible to change clothes there, as a result, a queue of those who just need to wring out their swimsuit and those who need...

Not the first time in this hotel. Food, SPA, territory, cleanliness in the room - everything was at the highest level. The staff takes great care of the guests, which, unfortunately, cannot be said about the vacationers themselves.

Very good. We have been there many times. Thermal pools are new and very nice. The rooms are newly decorated and beautiful. Food and drinks are at a solid level. In the last two years, they have raised the level of accommodation. We are satisfied with the staff and cleanliness. The saunas are nice.

It’s now called Ensana Therma Aqua and has an amazing refurbished spa and rooms.It’s an all inclusive hotel. Tip:get a capuccino at the bar (€) as the one from the coffee machine is mediocre at best.

We stayed in the apartment, and found the best of all worlds. The hotel has insanely good spa facilities, with the thermal section, the sauna world (be aware that it's without bathing suits for this), the outdoor pool and indoor pool too. Utter and ferocious relaxation. The apartment we stayed in had everything we needed, fully equipped to make us feel truly at home.

Had a fantastic stay at Carbona Hotel in Hévíz! The rooms were comfortable, the service was top-notch, and the cocktails were delicious. The spa was incredibly relaxing, with a wide variety of beauty, medical, and relaxation services. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!

Nice wellness hotel: Great food (buffet, international and Hungarian food). Our room was clean (but book a renovated Deluxe room!), wifi works well. Parking is included. There are several pool areas, all of them nice. Only improvement that comes to my mind: Give Csucsu, the adorable parrot a little more space.

We stayed 2 nights, the wellness and pool areas are amazing. The bar staff are very kind and helpful, they’re doing a great service. Various food, but very small buffet area. Room is clean and spacious, warm enough. We had issue only with the bed and mattress. Mattress is too old and used.

We took a deluxe room which was nice, but I'm not sure about the other rooms. Saunas are old and falling apart. However, the worst part was the food! I am familiar with the Hungarian cuisine, but this was a complete disaster. My wife and I couldn't find a single dish that we would recommend. She even found dark long hair two times in different dishes, and the waiter only said "no good" to our complaints...

An excellent resort, very tasty breakfasts and dinners, there are various SPA treatments, there are pools with thermal water of different temperatures, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, there is a sauna, hammam, etc. Beautiful territory, 7 min walk from Lake Heviz. We spent a wonderful 24 hours at the Lotus Therme Hotel & Spa. From the friendly early checkin (I think we got there around noon) to the smartly attired professional staff we felt pampered and at home. Very nice hotel specially made for kids. Negative review is about the fact no water is provided for diner and stuff knew very little English. Food was great, even cater for gluten free food. The facilities were very good.

This is exceptionally well organized and managed family and kid friendly hotel. There is every activity available and every need taken care of. It's like you have your home next to all the facilities kids love. The staff is extremely polite, emphatic and professional.

I would give it 5 stars of it was a 3-star hotel, but they claim to be 4-star. As a 3-star hotel, I have no complaints about them. They are very reasonable priced. The staff is very polite. The rooms are clean, and it is the closest hotel to the lake. Other 4-star hotels in the area are much nicer inside and have better food.

Lovely complex over a lake. Being English, it was a bit surreal to my girlfriend and I. Seems very popular with older people, but was generally very pleasant and relaxing experience. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Literally 3 minutes from the lake. The staff is very professional and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The meals are in a form of a buffet with a wide variety of choices. All on all I highly reccomend this place!

Excellent service from the personnel. Hotel room was big and clean. Breakfast had a variety of offerings and hotel's location is really good: 15 minutes walking distance from the thermal lake and close to restaurants and shops. Nicely positioned, comfortable and very reasonably priced hotel. We had a beautiful large apartment with balcony looking over the garden. We enjoyed our stay a lot, although there was one member of staff we didn't take to. Overall a nice place, blighted by that one rude man.

Great hotel, and the receptionist was such a nice chap, great stay overall. The hotel is close to the lake and the restaurants downtown, it is a great value for money really. The hotel also provides a ticket, so that you could park on street nearby the hotel.

Nice quiet hotel just in center of Hévíz. Terasse, garden with chairs and table tennis. Free WiFi, free entry to big welness world in Danubius hotel just 150m away (5 pools with different temperature, badminton court, several different saunas). Small welness is even in Park Hotel, not tested. No elevators (!), no dogs. Delicious breakfasts from 7 to 10, dinners must be ordered in advance.

We were there as a family with young children so it’s not really appropriate. All people was watching us with hate even kids were just swimming, not being loud. It never happened similar to us. But the staff was super nice.

The hotel is called Panorama. This name fully corresponds to the main advantage of the hotel - stunning views from the rooms. There is also a great restaurant here. Great location. But very-VERY poor SPA.

The woman who works in the restaurant warned me that I was not properly dressed for the restaurant and that next time I should not come as I was dressed! Hotel situated in driving distance of Lake Balaton. We have used it for one night sleep while traveling there. Booked via Internet 10 minutes before arrival (past 22:00), room was ready as we arrived. Equipment was visibly older, hovewer everything was very clean, this is also valid for shower. The wellness area is nice and tidy, but other than that, I can't say too much good. What made me write a review is that one of the ladies with glasses in the restaurant regularly publicly criticizes the guests who have just left, which I think is extremely humiliating.

Very satisfied. The room is a bit old and simple, just like ordinary hot spring hotels in China, but clean, with complete facilities, and no slippers. The restaurant is delicious! The hotel itself does not have hot springs, but it has SPAs. It is also very close to the Heviz Hot Springs, which is two or three minutes' walk away. There is a parking lot. Only adults are accepted.
