Where to stay in Gyor

Beautiful hotel, very cozy. Perfect service, nice food. Only coffee could be better, but this is only tiny detail.

Really beautiful hotel. The room was big, very comfortable. I also had dinner at the internal restaurant and I can advise: there are several tasty dishes and the view directly on the football field. Free park available.

Probably thr best stay in the city of Gyor. But their laundry service leaves strong scent on clothes.

Very spacious room, very good for ar the restaurant and the breakfast was one of the best ones I had. The sauna wasn't crowded, the gym was empty, which was nice. Will return.

Okish stay. Mixed feelings on the hotel. Quiet but with really strange blinking light in the room. The flashing of smoke detectors was annoying and not letting you properly get off, once noticed. Reception mixed breakfast time and we found it last moment next morning. Overpriced parking, cat keeping in room. Tough communication during booking

The rooms are nice and the location, right in the center, is also a plus. However the bathroom had a bad smell, but at least it was covered by some room deodorant. Another issue was the breakfast which I think it had decent options right at the start but even if we came 1h before the breakfast ended, there were not many options left, and it wasn't resupplied either.

Accomodated in a side building, penthouse, with no AC. Very warm outside, very warm inside. A sad vent-fan did the work very hard. And we had to ask for the towels. Kind of bad accomodation for 4 stars hotel. Advice: Ask everything before!

Ez a hotel egyszerüen hibátlan! A szobái jól felszereltek, az ágyak kényelmesek, a folyosók kialakítása pedig pazar. A hotel közel van mindenhez, mégis csendben meghúzódik a Király utca elején.

It's just a decent hotel, nothing special nothing fancy. Yes it is big, yes you can say that it's somehow historical but iy needs a complete overhaul. Some parts of the room are modernized, but the old falling paint on the wodden windows, the bathrooms with no ventilation, the beige tubs ... not a great experience. The only thing that remains is the location, Central, with parking.

A nice hotel with beautiful although a bit outdated design. Amazingly comfortable beds. Quiet windows with great view (I stayed on the south side) and AC installed. Toilets are in need of renovation but working and clean. Part of the hotel is the old building and the other half is a newer, socrealstic block, but you still can truly feel the history of the place and the influence of changing times and...

This is an exceptionally nice hotel. Well maintained and comfortable but not expensive. Great central city location. Underground parking available. Exceptionally nice food for dinner and a lovely breakfast. One of the best hotels I've stayed in for a modest price.

Old rooms but cosy for this amount of money. I heard the cars from the road all night, but i was at 5-th floor and it was not too bad, room it was warm and bad comfy. So recommended for a night sleep

This is a very nice Ibis, indeed. Well located for the train-station and the city-centre. It seems brand new. The room was really great for this price-range. The facilities are very good, including kitchen facilities available for guess. The staff are very helpful. It is one of the nicest Ibis hotels I have stayed in.

Typical Ibis standard. Pricing very good, breakfast slightly better than the usual Ibis standard. Check-in time at 15:00 was strict, they didn‘t even bother checking if the room was ready earlier (which I consider normal in hotels). Can recommend it.

Our stay at your hotel met the standard international level, with no particular issues or exceptional highlights. Very good hotel, perfectly located 10 minutes walk from the city center. The service is great, the breakfast is perfect for the 3-star hotel. Clearness of the rooms and public places is impressive. Really recommend this hotel if you need inexpensive and functional accommodation in Győr.

Great place to stay. A sport hotel, simple and functional, so expect no soft carpets in the rooms. But, the room was clean and spacious. The bed somewhat harder, but comfortable. Warm reception on arrival. Free parking and safe. There is a lake behind the hotel with a walking path. Nice and illuminated at night. There is a swimming pool and wellness area. For breakfast, there is a nice choice of food...

I stayed one night. The room was very clean and modern, i could not find any dust, even on bathroom radiator, really impressive. The bed was very confortable and had a view to the lake. You have plenty of car parking and the place is quiet. The breakfast was also impressive, you had a lot of food to choose from and tasted very good. Great value for money. Thanks !

Very nice hotel. Good food. Room service jus changed towels for all 5 days. No additiinal caffe or tea or cleaning??? Staff frendly. Very far away from the city or stores. You can rent bikes for 10 euto/days

It was amazing stay 10/10! Thanks to amazing receptionist Ester, very professional and so uplifting energy and those eyes! Breakfast were very tasty and staff there very helpful. Rooms clean. A lot of place to have a walk and to enjoy a nature. Great SPA facilities. I recommend to stay there!

PRO: 1) cleaning, the Place was smelling of detergents since we stepped in the receptions, you notice people cleaning around everywhere in the morning, the room was spotless. 2) room noise, we couldn't hear any sound, maybe also affected by the non presence of anyone next to us. 3) swimming pool and jacuzzi, very nice feature, small, but nice. 4) quality of breakfast, (not size), the food quality...

The best staff. English speaking. Courteous and friendly. Rooms are real 4 star quality hotels. Amenities are also of four star quality. Breakfast was really good. I would recommend.

A lot of people have negative reviews for me, but the hotel is perfectly fine. Larger rooms with air conditioning. The breakfast is good, the choice of food is absolutely sufficient. Perhaps the only minor complaint is a softer mattress and not a very comfortable pillow.

Generally, it's a very good place. Really clean room. No balconies. Not very well working air conditioning in our room. So it was hot. And the bed mattress was hard. But those are the only remarks I have. AMAZING breakfast!!! Really! The stuff is also very polite

The hotel is great. We have stayed in a standard room and it was way above average for Hungary. The gym of this Hotel can compete with any standard Gym, but it's way better than most hotel gyms. The wellness part is small but very nice. There are 2 jakuzzies and one larger pool. The saunas are nice and clean. My only problem was that there is drinking water by the saunas but there are no glasses provided...

Old and iconic place in Győr, which offers good value for money. It has sports and wellness amenities, which we haven't tried this time, but seemed like we had many great options. Breakfast was good with healthy options and good quality ingredients. The staff is friendly, and the rooms are tidy and cozy, but the furniture and the style are a little old-school for my taste.

This hotel is placed right in the middle of Gyor city, very close to everything. Very nice and clean room, the environment is comfortable and a bit vintage, the breakfast is great and the fitness center huge. Nothing to complain

This hotel is located in Györ. The first night I thought nobody will understand my English but surprisingly the lady in the reception speaks English, Hungarian, and Spanish. She was absolutely kind because I couldn´t find an ATM late at night and she gave me some coins to use the drinking machine. Very clean and nice hotel. The stuff is friendly, they speak English, it is easy to communicate. The rooms are clean, the furniture is in a good condition( looks almost new) I had a good rest over night. The breakfast was delicious, lots of choices. The prices are also very good! Very nice thermal bath with a reasonable price ! The sauna experience was also very great thanks to the sauna master which is a really nice person whom you can ask every kind of information. The place was clean e well organized! I will come back

It is a fine spa. U can enjoy many different pools and chilling wole time. Not so many people that is great. The water in some pools look like dirty green but that is just because of the tiling. All in all really enjoyment

Lovely spa, many indoor and outdoor pools with different water types and water temperatures. :) Highly recommended for all ages. Great fun. Secure lockers, card payments, food and drink facilities. If you are visiting Gyôr, this place is a must visit!

Really good breaksaft but to earlt (from 7 to 9). Small bedroom, but good enough. Friendly and usefull staff.

If you need to stay overnight it's ok. The private parking is nice. They rooms are a bit dirty... But again it works for a overnight stay. There is no restaurant nearby so if you arrive late you need to take a taxi to the city center.

You can eat menu each day, but you have to go early. Sometimes they ran out of some popular meals at 12. The quality of the food is nice.

Price - quality is completely unreasonable. Facilities are ok and clean, and bed particularly comfortable. However, service was scarce. We spent 1 hour driving to find a way to the parking as the bridge was closed, no one bothered to reply to our request for information about the parking. Breakfast was abysmal. Downstairs bar was loud until late at night. A/C placed just above the bed is not pleasant...

Cosy, elegant room, outstanding hospitality, silent. In the inner old town you can reach anything in 5 minutes on walk.

Such a good location. The parking is at 3 min walk, no problem for us. We booked the same day we whent. I had a special request, for the short time they had, there was no problem for them to make it happen. At reception the personal was nice and give us all info we needed for city locations and other. The room was very nice, quite, clean and the bed was so so confortabile. There is no elevator but...

Very friendly staff and very accommodating. We traveled as a family and they were quick to prepare the room according to our specific wishes. It is affordable, close to the center and also close to the highway if you travel through the country. I Can highly recommend. Good and varied breakfast.

Room are small and dirty, bathroom also.. The employees are kind, but is an old Motel not Hotel., everything is sticky and smell like... 🤮Never come back here.

The best option for the money in town, good clean rooms, great location everything is close to this place, tasty breakfast. The staff is always great and also counts with a spa open to the clients. Definitely recommend this place.

3 stars no more no less. Its a room bed is just ok, air conditioning works, clean enough, friendly enough. Didnt try the spa. Breakfast is included, Wi-Fi is good.

The working staff is very nice, helpful and they do speak in English quite okay. Interior is also okay, but definitely not too pretty. You get what you pay for. The bathroom in our room was very bad in terms of shower place which was just a curtain in one corner of the room. However, nice spa and food. Excellent breakfast with big choice for vegans too!

Only that when I searched hotels., I found this with 66 e and it says including breakfast , I start to make booking, the price went 75 e (breakfast and booking fee). Ok I said, let's take it. in the morning I checked the price, was 78 e, ready to pay 78 at the reception, I got invoice 81 e! (78 +3 e fee). So the price was from 66 to 81. Not...

Stayed here for work with a big group. We ended up using the rooms like an Air BnB. Our room only had one actual bedroom the rest of slept in the living room on couchbed and two twin size beds. The room had a full kitchen and bathroom with separate toilet room. I popped the room's breaker numerous times trying to plug in a voltage converter. The breakfast buffet was lovely.

Interesting, spartan hotel. If you are expecting luxury, you won't find it. The shower cabin for our standard double could have been cleaner. Decent continental breakfast for a good price.

Excellent price/value relation and definitely better than the official 3* rating. No elevator might be an issue for elderly people (no issue for me). My wish would be : dark (fully closing) window shades.

Overall impression - good place for the price, but bed was too short for me (186 cm), when I was laying on that huge pillow (not my type of pillow). Other disadvantage - corridor in which my room was placed was dark (no light there at all). Good thing was the english speaking staff.

I spent here 4nights and it was fantastic. Close to the trains and buses, Tesco is just 5mins away. The receptionist ladies were really nice. I especially would like to thank for Bogi for printing out my boarding pass.;) The room is big. I always struggle to sleep on the first night,but this bed was great. My favourite was the shower. For me it is a 3 star hotel. The room was not great but of course good. Aircon and clean. The bed was a little bit hard and its not one big bed there are two single bed put together. The breakfast was ok. The service friendly. The wifi super slooowww.
