Very satisfactory stay experience, very clean

This is a very nice Ibis, indeed. Well located for the train-station and the city-centre. It seems brand new. The room was really great for this price-range. The facilities are very good, including kitchen facilities available for guess. The staff are very helpful. It is one of the nicest Ibis hotels I have stayed in.

The hotel was nice and clean. The breakfast was great, diverse and they always refilled everything so you can sleep in and still get a pancake. The pool was great and the hot tub was amazing. Only problem was that you can’t get to the 3rd floor in an elevator as it goes only to the 2nd floor. The apartment was nice and big.

The environment is quiet, there are shopping malls and 3 supermarkets nearby, and the hotel parking is free, which is quite convenient

Nevertheless, the air-conditioning supplemented the need, as it was quite cold outside. Nice hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfast and nice rooms. It was clean and special requests such as an extra pillow were dealt with immediately. The location is ideal, as the hotel is right in the center and so you are right on the spot. In addition, the thermal spring/aquapark is only a few meters away.

Okish stay. Mixed feelings on the hotel. Quiet but with really strange blinking light in the room. The flashing of smoke detectors was annoying and not letting you properly get off, once noticed. Reception mixed breakfast time and we found it last moment next morning. Overpriced parking, cat keeping in room. Tough communication during booking

The rooms are nice and the location, right in the center, is also a plus. However the bathroom had a bad smell, but at least it was covered by some room deodorant. Another issue was the breakfast which I think it had decent options right at the start but even if we came 1h before the breakfast ended, there were not many options left, and it wasn't resupplied either.

Accomodated in a side building, penthouse, with no AC. Very warm outside, very warm inside. A sad vent-fan did the work very hard. And we had to ask for the towels. Kind of bad accomodation for 4 stars hotel. Advice: Ask everything before!

We chose the hotel for one night because of the Christmas markets. Perfect proximity to the center and parking right in front of the hotel for 6€ per night. Older but cozy hotel. Close to everything. We had a completely sufficient breakfast (for us). I recommend it

The hotel's best days are behind it. Its greatest advantage is its location close to the city center and the charming Old Town. The ability to have breakfast in the courtyard is definitely a great advantage. It's just a shame that smoking is allowed in the courtyard, so the smell during breakfast can be unpleasant. Booked this hotel as we could park our Motorbikes securely in the courtyard. Arrived late and were shown where to put the bikes. The rooms are simply furnished, spotless with air conditioning and a fridge with a number of different drinks. The beds were so comfortable. The hotel is gorgeous, quirkey and the breakfast had a very good selection. The hotel is close to everything and we walked everywhere...

If you need to stay overnight it's ok. The private parking is nice. They rooms are a bit dirty... But again it works for a overnight stay. There is no restaurant nearby so if you arrive late you need to take a taxi to the city center.

You can eat menu each day, but you have to go early. Sometimes they ran out of some popular meals at 12. The quality of the food is nice.

Very convenient located Hotel Positive: Very convenient location. Large Room. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel in good condition. The table setting in the breakfast room was outstanding. Room to improve: Breakfast could be improved - more fresh products/ lfruit, no oil/vinegar, Room 101 - the shower head was leaking. Maybe a little bit more focus on details required.

The hotel's breakfast has good selections. Room is clean and spacious, but there isn't any shelves to hold shampoo, body gel and soap in the shower. We stayed at the room facing the street, and you could hear cars and people talking bellow the closed window after midnight.

Not a four stars hotel. The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. Nice hotel and friendly staff. Well situated in the city. Only complaint we had was the air condition room was set to 25’ and we could not adjust it down. Probably could of gone down to reception and had it fixed but at 2am it seemed a little in poor taste. However enjoyed the overnight stay.

This boutique hotel is in a very excellent location to explore the city. It is just a few minutes walk to the Basilica or the river. We loved walking around the area. This is our absolute favorite place in Gyor. We keep coming back. The staff goes above and beyond to help you in every way. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a great location. Parking is so close it is not a problem at all not having it at the hotel itself. Can’t wait to come back again! Best staff ever!!

Price - quality is completely unreasonable. Facilities are ok and clean, and bed particularly comfortable. However, service was scarce. We spent 1 hour driving to find a way to the parking as the bridge was closed, no one bothered to reply to our request for information about the parking. Breakfast was abysmal. Downstairs bar was loud until late at night. A/C placed just above the bed is not pleasant...

Very good service. We were expected although we arrived after check in hours. The rooms are nice though it was very hot the day we arrived and the bathroom was a real sauna. Very cute little family-run hotel. The rooms exhibit some hints of the city's Baroque-style and the breakfast is incredible. It's very close to the city center too. The walls are thin though, so you better keep quiet after 10pm.

Great little chalet style hotel in the middle of Gyor. Manageress was incredibly hospitable with a bunch of teenagers and small children rolling into the place at 9pm. Rooms are clean, warm and tidy. Breakfast facilities next to the door. Super charming - go-to place next time we are in town.

Cheapest hotel in the area, close to highway and ideal for short stay when you are traveling. The rooms are good, strong wifi connection, secured parking and I heard that the breakfast is decent. The reception staff is friendly and customer oriented.

Closer ( nearly 2 km ) from the Motorway ( Autobahn ) has free private carpark. At the Groundfloor it has a medium Kitchen with cooker, Microwave, etc. The furniture in the rooms is new. Air Conditioned is extra. So you have to pay extra.

Zita, lady who worked at the front desk was absolutely helpful and proffesional, we need more people like her. The hotel itself is "okay", rooms clean, breakfast nice. It has a sauna, but the room has enough space to put a jacuzzi in, so do it please. One more time-Zita very very kind and helpfull.

Rooms are clean and after renovation. Stuff is very friendly and helful. The biggiest issue is bad breakfast. Fruit and vegetables was already not edible, bakery old and very linited offer what to eat. Practically bread and butter maybe with jam or salami if you take a risk.Hotel restaurant was closed at that time.

It's really nice here. The staff was unexpectedly nice and the decorations were creatively designed. I have spent time mostly on the second floor: it has enormous windows with beautiful views. The meal was also great, but not the best I've eaten. My biggest complaint is the restroom, because I found it really small for a building this huge. I recommend the place to try!

I am staying in this hotel and dining in the restaurant for over 5 years. Here I find real Hungarian hospitality, no matter how late I arrive at night. Very friendly owners and staff, great food. The owner is a sommerlier and reached me a lot about great Hungarian wines. In summertime there is a terrace at the board of the river.

We stayed for 6 nights, first night was in an older stuffy, smoky room but the next morning the staff was very helpful and let us change rooms the rest of the stay was pleasant. Staff was always helpful and friendly.

Overall impression - good place for the price, but bed was too short for me (186 cm), when I was laying on that huge pillow (not my type of pillow). Other disadvantage - corridor in which my room was placed was dark (no light there at all). Good thing was the english speaking staff.
