Polite and helpful staff, quiet hotel

Really good value for money, very nice hotel with friendly staff. I was impressed by the spa, especially the 25 meters long and 1,80 m deep pool. The two saunas and the steam bath are great too. The rooms are spacious, the bathroom is modern and the whole place has a good feel about it. I would definitely return.

We had a wonderful couple of nights staying at the Abacus Hotel during which time we were celebrating a friend's wedding. The hotel staff were fantastic and we were delighted with our room. We only wish we could've stayed for longer. Thank you!

It's a quiet hotel, very clean, affordable, with good food and friendly staff, spa, bowling, balcony(!)....What more could you need? I travel to Budapest often, and this hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere you can’t find in the city. It's a 20-minute drive to Budapest, but I didn't mind.

One of the best value for money accommodation I stayed in the last years. Not so far from Budapest (45 min.)/Hungaroring (50 min.), but you should come by car... This hotel is a hidden treasure. We didn't expect much, stopping for one night before our flight, but knce we got there we wanted to stay. Included breakfast and dinner are amazing, we had salmon in a sauce that tasted amazing, and there was a lot to choose from. Breakfast the same. Perfect place for athletes, especially for football players. Aside from the hotel and spa there is a very well equipped gym and a training hall for handball or table tennis. Outside there is a full size grass football field with a stand, and at least two grass training fields.

These guys just saved my day, they know what good service is. Beautiful place excellent service. Some shops could learn loads from these guys. I will be back next time I cross Europe.

The room was clean and properly equipped. The hostel is located right next to the road, but the window of our room faced the other direction, so it was quiet. The staff was strange, we had to wait a long time until they spoke to us, even then impatiently, but later when they managed to deal with us they were friendly. The breakfast was very simple, nothing outstanding, mediocre like a student camp...

We came just for lunch. This was some if the best food we've ever had. Salmon, duck, dessert and wine. All was top class. It's definitely not cheap, so be prepared to open the wallet. However, if you know that going into it, it's better. Wine is tasty too. Indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommend and only 30 minutes from Budapest.

In a couple of gloriously rebuilt old peasant long houses, with superb food and service, this restaurant/winery never fails to please. We love sitting outside on the terrace, where a team of delightful waiters serve you with courtesy and efficiency. The prices are on the higher than average side, but it's worth every penny. Pretty nice restaurant. Tasty local food, good service. The dessert made of local cheeses, honey and wallnuts is very tasty and can be recommended to try. If you choose place outside you will get the nice view of surroundings. The place in pricey quite a bit compared to other local places but still cheaper than in general in Europe.

We had an absolutely amazing time here. The place is special, surrounded by a forest, lots of nature inside the complex, pool inside and outside. The restaurant closes early 7 30 p.m., but you have a nice restaurant 5 minutes drive from the hotel. It is a lovely place to stay when in Budapest area.

My sister and I came here for the Kundalini retreat. The hotel is immaculate. Welcoming. Peaceful and wonderful. Pillows a little soft for our liking but clean rooms. Great hairdryer and amenities. The food in the hotel is not bad, but it is a bit expensive at NT$1,000 per meal The menu has appetizers, main courses, and desserts to choose from. I think the best one is the salmon white sauce spaghetti. Europeans make spaghetti delicious no matter how they cook it.

During a business trip and catching up with the car racing, the hotel price doubled. As a hotel chain, Holiday Inn's hardware and software are still guaranteed, and its quality control is relatively stable. We're staying here for a couple of days as we're visiting family very close. Extremely comfortable, with a lovely big room and bathroom, very clean. Good breakfast (cold cuts, cheese, continental pastries, cereal, eggs to order). Overall very happy with our stay.

It'a nice to stay 1 or max 2 days to relax however relaxation at the pool is dependent on the events they have with big groups of people. When we stayed there there were alot of people staying by the pool when going out for breaks from a conference room. Pool water clean, spa is small but nice. Breakfast good. We stayed with a tour group. A boutique hotel with a beautiful architecture in nature. The employees are very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that transportation is a bit of a problem if you don't have a vehicle. Greetings from Turkey.

The place is surrounded by trees on a lush green hill. It's cool even when the city is in a heat wave. The garden terrace is lovely in the mornings for breakfast and relaxing to chill there the rest of the day. Amazing building. Had better bathrooms in other hotels on this trip. Breakfast was a disappointment compared with other hotels too. Lots of flies in the breakfast buffet area. The coffee/hot chocolate machine seemed incapable of dispensing a mocha, each attempt produced a different result, maybe blocked somewhere.

How can you say this hotel three star hotel?? I think they need to hire very good managers or need some renovations. I have been to so many three stars hotels and this one did not define the meaning of three star. If you say one star or motel then it’s Oké but please don’t do fake advertisements. Very nice hotel with very nice people. Cozy, homey. Upon arrival they gave a map of Budapest and a guide in Russian. They speak German, which was especially nice. Delicious breakfast in the morning. The room is clean and cozy. There is a very beautiful garden on the territory.

The owner and staff went above and beyond to support me when I broke my ankle during my stay. They helped me get medication and crutches and even assisted with administering the medication. They also coordinated with the ambulance service to ensure my transfer to the airport was smooth. On top of that, they brought a lovely breakfast up to my room each morning and even delivered the food I ordered...

Excellent friendly, competent service, client oriented. Parking in front of the hotel which is a huge plus. Cosy room with large balcony and nice view over the city. It needs a slap of paint here and there, but overall impression was OK. Neighborhood is really calm and quiet, so there's nothing disturbing your sleep at night. but at the same time the public transport connection to the city center is so good, that it takes you max. 45 minutes to get to the opposite part of Budapest (whole way form hotel to Circus took as like 40 minutes).

Location is in a quite area with tram in front of the hotel which is very helpful. The service is not the best since the cleaning lady is not paying to much attention and rooms could be better cleaned. They are not well maintained and some invest is needed. My guess is that this is an old hotel that hasn't been renewed. But still fresh! This was some kind of nostalgia for me, standing in the bathtub taking a shower and so on. Really helpful staff in the reception.

I like this place. The beds are comfortable, rooms are bright and clean, and the staffs are very hospitable. The only thing is that for a 15-floor hotel there is only 2 elevators. It’s not so practical but overall a really cozy place to stay.

Great hotel! It is not luxurious but it is clean and tidy. Wanderful stuff! The metro station is near (800m) so it took like 10 min to city centre. 100m from hotel there is gas station with Spar that is working 24/7! My room looked directly at the parliament. I don't know if the sunrises or evenings from the hotel window are better!

The arrangement of the common areas could be better, but even that was sufficient and sometimes it is difficult to fit in the elevator. The rooms have an excellent climate.
