I really liked the place, a nice, rustic, old-fashioned house, reminiscent of my grandparents' house. When we got there, they welcomed us very kindly, and we were able to have a good chat with Kati "mom" afterwards. We had a great time. I hope we'll see each other again

I stayed at the Katalin Ponziò hotel for one night because of a car problem. It was a real surprise to meet this particular place a bit out of the way but within walking distance of essential services and a quarter of an hour from the center of Budapest. But the real surprise was to meet the wonderful person who runs it, Ms. Katalin: after a very difficult day,her sweet welcome made me feel protected,in a time of need I received so much attention and help to solve my problem as well as to really make me feel at home. I will gladly return to this hotel, the patience the availability the generosity of Ms. Katalin are priceless. Thank you Ka, a big hug for your generosity !

Bathroom and bedroom was dirty...not as nice and clean as the pictures is...

This is a workers' hostel. Dirty, cold, undemanding. There is no refrigerator in the room. not even a chair. There is no closet for clothes. They don't accept bank cards. They didn't provide an invoice. It was a big disappointment. I have never been to such a poor place!
