A nice, clean hotel with kind staff. We only had two problems :
1. The pillows in the rooms were unconfortable and we could hardly sleep
2. The quality of the food was not as expected
Anyhow, we will recommend this hotel to everyone!

The description of "Polished" hotel is quite apt.
The proximity to the Hagymatikum is about as close is you can get.

The hotel looks wonderful and the staff behaved impeccably. On the second floor there is a room with a sauna that I took advantage of every morning while I was at the hotel. Generous breakfast and absolutely delicious food from the menu.
I would love to come back here!

This is my second time at this hotel and I will be happy to come back again. Of course, we come for the Mako spa, and in terms of accommodation, the Grand Glorius is the best option for accommodation. First of all, the hotel is in a wonderful art deco style, with impeccable service and very friendly staff. The real hit is champagne for breakfast. The food is excellent, with a large selection for everyone. I would especially like to praise Mr. Daniel, who provided us with a kettle in the room, for morning tea and coffee, and who also knew our language. All recommendations for this nice little hotel.

We travel around to try different Hotels and SPA's. This time we chosen this hotel. The Hotel is in a old renovated building with stunning architecture. It has also a restaurant, which is open to the public as well for a nice meal from the menu. The hotel itself has a wellness facility, they have two saunas and a hot tub. View from one of the saunas is to the Thermal bath on the oposite site of the road, the Hagymatikum Thermal. The visitors of this hotel can also find in the hotel's spa section some basic gym equipment as well. I would maybe recomment to the hotel to put some extra towels and sheets to theire SPA for the guests to use in these permises, especially for the sauna users. Services in the Hotel were great, the staff was always smiley and verry friendly. On the 4th floor is a roof terrace with a stunning view around the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend the hotel any time. The food was great and tasty, we had a chance to have a food from the menu as well for a lunch after we checked out. Portions were big and the food amazingly tasty! Thank you for your services and looking forward to stay there again in the future.

We had a short visit in Makó with my mum and we stayed in a nice apartment next to the thermal bath. We visited couple of restaurants but the BEST one was the Glorius! OMG, the staff is really amazing : professional, friendly caring!!! The food is amazing and the price is friendly / worthy! ( Also the daily menu is so super ! )
If I stay next time in Mako for sure I will book in the Glorius to try the half board package!

Well done for the hotel management as they made the BEST in Makó and they choosed the most qualified/talented staff to run this business!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at your hotel. The service was excellent, and we would especially like to commend Andrea and Daniel at the reception who accommodated all our requests. The hotel is impeccably clean, the location is excellent, and the food is very good. The only suggestion we would make for improvement is that the names of the dishes are not always written in English (for example, we mistook savory pâté for chocolate mousse as it was placed next to the dessert). We don't know if it's possible to change this. One drawback is the smell of food in the hotel lobby as soon as you enter. It spoils the first impression, and it would be a shame not to address it with better ventilation or airing. Everything else is truly top-notch.
